For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV)
THE LORD’S DOING
For Jacqueline Bonner Sinclair, it was a foregone conclusion.
“When the offer presented itself, I jumped at the offer,” Sinclair told Making Headline News during a recent interview.
As Sinclair vividly recalls, it was a golden opportunity, a memorable, life-altering development that, much to her delight, essentially resulted in yet another step towards her destiny.
“I always wanted to write a book, but didn’t know how or had the source,” Sinclair explained. “But I wanted to tell my story. I was determined. I sought the face of God for answers and direction, and this scripture came to mind: Jeremiah 29:11.”
And the rest, as they say, was history.

To her credit, coupled with the divine calling on her life, Sinclair has officially embraced the title as “author,” this after the Lighthouse Point, Florida-based businesswoman has become one of 16 co-authors to collectively assemble and join Image In The Mirror II: Manifesting A Dream Deferred, the highly-anticipated anthology that is spearheaded by visionary and award-winning international multi-bestselling author, Elder Joan T. Randall.
A book that made its official debut in February, Sinclair elected to focus on the subject, “Finding My Son,” in Image In The Mirror II: Manifesting A Dream Deferred.
“This is a humble beginning for me,” Sinclair, a native of Kingston, Jamaica, said, alluding to her solo-authored book, A Child Cries, which is scheduled to be released in August 2022. “My story is to impact lives, to empower others to tell their stories, and to brave trauma and take back their power and live. Forgiveness is power. It brings healing to your soul and victory over your life and light to the darkness its joy.”
For her valiant contributions to Randall’s Image In The Mirror II: Manifesting A Dream Deferred, Sinclair has witnessed her gifts steadily make room for her.
“Since joining Image In the Mirror II, Manifesting A Dream Deferred, I’ve been given the opportunity to appear on other platforms, including Facebook Live, where I shared my story and testimony, and I have more assignments coming up in the coming months,” Sinclair said.
As for the divine message she aspires to send to her audience through her first authorship project, Sinclair said: “Where you end up in life is solely determined by your attitude toward it. The most critical consideration is to avoid becoming disoriented by the volume of people around you. Keep in mind that you can climb the highest mountains or drive through the roughest waters, but only if you have the right mindset. Keep your spirits high and keep your feet firmly planted on the ground. It was a deep desire of mine to tell my story so that all women would know that even when hope seems lost, you can still fight to live and gain access to life.”

Three months removed from having made her debut as an author, Sinclair’s next writing project is scheduled to take place later this year with the release of A Child Cries, she told MHN.
As for her latest written work, Sinclair said such an awe-inspiring journey is something by which she doesn’t merely take lightly.
“(I have) an attitude of gratitude,” Sinclair said. “Elder Joan T. Randall helped pave the way leading up to the present, (which led to my) authorship debut. As for why I chose to participate in the anthology, it was to let go of the pain I carry and the resentment I feel towards people who have wronged me. There are times all I can do is cry, but I serve a true God, and all I can say is, ‘Do you see what the Lord has done?’
“Hope relieves me from adversaries, hope delivers me from the hands of the wicked and the unrighteous, but I stand on the promises of God that come with joy, so I let God hold me,” Sinclair continued. “When you are going through trials all by yourself, I have learned to smile and laugh, pray and give thanks, and I stand on His words. Faith in God moved mountains. Life is a relay. On the journey, it takes the help of others to get across the finish line.
“Women that have gone through (often) say, ‘I didn’t know what to do’ or “I didn’t have the courage’ says another. ‘What made you do it? Why you didn’t you call the police say one lady you are brave to the end?’ Writing is to help others release what is inside, to help others overcome. My purpose is to speak life and, if this book helps, then yes (I’ve served my purpose). Purpose is driven from the inside and then pour out when you write.”
