The accomplished Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based entrepreneur is one of several recipients for the President Joseph R. Biden 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award who was honored during an official ceremony December 3 in Las Vegas.
An awards ceremony that took place at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort, the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award is widely regarded as one of the highest honors presented to individuals who have overcome significant obstacles to achieve impressive accomplishments, thus dedicated their lives to advocating for the most vulnerable among humanity and acted with bravery to drive change in their communities — and across the world — while blazing trails for generations to come.
Much to her delight, Dr. Taylor’s latest honor subsequently had given way to her becoming the beneficiary of a rash of congratulatory shout outs and well-wishes from those who have followed her awe-inspiring journey throughout the years.

“I have received ‘congratulations,’ kind words, (and I) appreciate the love and support,” Dr. Taylor told MHN. “The assessment was providing info of past and present accomplishments, honors, work, etc.”
A beloved speaker, facilitator, author, and host who is the first to serve as Vice-President for the Milwaukee School Board, Dr. Taylor’s well-publicized expertise range from advocate to educator on the local, state, and national levels.
Generally, her legislation has empowered and given voice to thousands of Milwaukee County residents by tackling critical local issues like access to a living wage, the right to form a union, health care, housing, and broadening expungement practices to give people a “real” second chance.
