For what it’s worth, Kendra Williams could be appropriately described as a woman of faith and perseverance.
As Williams vividly recalls, growing up as a military child, coupled with her early years in grade school, essentially made a significant impact on her future.
“I overcame adversity in academic challenges, but my faith in God brought me through those difficult times and challenges,” Williams told Making Headline News this week to kick off its advance coverage of Bishop T. D. Jakes’ International Leadership Summit May 4-6 in Orlando. “However, I began to change my work ethic to become successful in my present careers, as well in business and coaching. As a result, I am passionate about helping individuals know to strive for greatness in all areas of their lives.”

An experienced Columbus, Georgia-based licensed therapist who has become a fixture for helping children, families, and individuals cope with behavior, anxiety, depression, and relationships, Williams has garnered widespread respect for establishing healthy therapeutic relationships working independently with clients.

“For me, it was all about purpose, especially when it comes to coaching,” said Williams, explaining how her competitive drive in life and helped propel her for entrepreneurship. “This is not a place two years ago I could see myself doing. I was nervous about what steps to take to build my brand and how to reach the women I am currently helping. I had amazing people put along my path and journey who helped me during the process. They made my journey smoother as I navigated to where I am now.
“I am truly grateful for their support,” Williams, who boasts over six years of experience in the mental health field, continued. “My faith in God has been the cornerstone on my journey and vision for my business. He was the One that helped me heal from my past dating relationship. I knew that with this, He would always be there with me. I know He will continue to guide me on this journey of purpose.”

Born in Virginia — “but I consider Columbus, Georgia my hometown because I grew up here since I was five years old, she said — Williams is a 2006 graduate of Columbus’ Shaw High School.
Consequently, she earned an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from Chattahoochee Valley Community College in Phenix City, Alabama in 2009. She she acquired a Bachelor and Master of Science Degrees in Psychology from Troy University in 2011 and 2017, respectively.
A member of the counseling honor society, Chi Sigma Iota, Williams counsels individuals and groups ranging in ages three-to-60. A rising life coach who is the face of Worthy of Grace LLC, Williams coaches individuals and groups ranging in ages 22-to-55.
Interestingly enough, Williams’ Worthy of Grace LLC is a life coaching company that is dedicated to empowering women to rediscover their brilliance and become the best version of themselves. This is done in large part by providing women with the tools and support they need to overcome the challenges of their past and move forward with confidence, self-love, and a renewed sense of purpose, she said.
A rising television show host of The Modern Woman’s Network (TMWN), Williams’ media-related endeavors caters to individuals and groups of all ages.
“I love that I get to connect with a diverse group of people,” Williams, an accomplished author, told MHN. “I have helped people from young children to adults from various walks of life and diverse backgrounds. I have connected with people worldwide from the U.S. to Australia and several other countries in between. A chosen profession that is steadily generating a widespread international presence — most notably the UK, Canada, China, Australia, Africa, and India, among others — Williams emphasized her personal mission for doing operating in her variety of roles is centered largely on making a positive impact in people’s lives.
“I want to create safe spaces for people to share their vulnerabilities and provide resources to them that have a positive impact in their lives and other people,” Williams said. “Building healthy relationships with ourselves and other people in our lives truly sets the precedent in how we see ourselves and other people. Developing healthy mindset, having a relationship with God, practicing self-love, speaking positive affirmations daily are important to our daily living.”
