Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange was happening to you. But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. (1 Peter 4:12-13/NIV)
PULLING DOWN STRONGHOLDS

During an interview this week with Making Headline News, Texas author Andrew J. Landry was only keeping it real when explaining what galvanized him to compose his third book to date — a published gem that vividly addresses what could be appropriately described as a perilous subject, of sorts.
“While a majority of people display narcissistic traits, mislabeling has a counterproductive effect,” Landry said. “The book is designed to properly define narcissistic behaviors, give tools for effectively managing boundaries when faced with these relationships, and putting methods in place to heal from the trauma for dealing with persons who fall in this category.”
The book to which this accomplished Humble, Texas-based author is referencing is Tearing Down The Narcissist: Rebuilding Boundaries, Restoring Self-Worth, Redefining You, an informative, life-altering written work that made its ceremonious debut approximately six months ago.
Landry’s Tearing Down The Narcissist: Rebuilding Boundaries, Restoring Self-Worth, Redefining You is available at his website, https://wheremenhurt.org/, Amazon, or where books are sold.

As Landry recalls, he wasted little time constructing a book that figures to help enrich and impact various forms of relationships for generations to come.
“(This book) is a further testament that everyone has a responsibility to impact the world — some people that’s in their home, some in their community, some in their state,” Landry, an esteemed faith leader, told MHN. “I have been blessed to impact people around the world because of the trials and successes of life.”
A spiritually-empowering read that is accompanied by 133 pages, Landry’s Tearing Down The Narcissist: Rebuilding Boundaries, Restoring Self-Worth, Redefining You is a book that raises a rather thought-provoking question.
“Have you ever felt silenced, diminished, or trapped by someone who thrived on control?” Landry writes via Amazon.com. “Tearing Down The Narcissist is a guide to understanding, healing, and reclaiming yourself after narcissistic abuse.”

Moreover, Landry’s latest book subsequently blends clinical insights with real survivor stories, most notably the following:
- The truth about narcissistic traits and NPD.
- How narcissists manipulate through love, shame, and gaslighting.
- Why boundaries are essential and how to set them without guilt and,
- Exercises, affirmations, and scripts to rebuild your voice, dignity, and joy.
“This is not a book about revenge,” Landry writes via Amazon. “It’s about freedom. About rebuilding, restructuring, and redefining your life. Whether you endured a narcissistic partner, parent, friend, or boss, this book equips you with tools to break free, reclaim self-worth, and step into a life defined not by manipulation, but by peace. Healing is possible. Your story is not over — it’s just beginning.”
For his valiant efforts amid the release of his third book, Landry has fielded an assortment of rave reviews.
“(People have said) the book has very good insight and explanations of what is required to rebuild, restore, and rebrand,” said Landry, Making Headline News Man of The Year for 2019. “The book has also allowed a better understanding of how to not personalize the effects of the negative behaviors. Probably the most impactful thing is bringing not only awareness but also self-reflection to proceed with caution worth those who have the characteristics but also become aware of one has these traits that they have been unaware of.”

Landry witnessed his authorship come full circle in March 2018 with release of Overcoming The Addiction That No One Has. Consequently, his sophomore project, After the Violation: A Comprehensive Guide To Healing After Being Sexually Mishandled, was released in August 2019.
As of now, he said, no other books are on the horizon — at least in the foreseeable future.
“As with my other books, I thoroughly enjoy having candid discussions about mainly taboo subject,” Landry said. “Uncomfortable conversations to many are normal for me.”
