She considers a field before she buys or accepts it — expanding her business prudently — with her profits, she plants fruitful vines in her vineyard. (Proverbs 31:16 Amplified Bible)
HER–EMARKABLE STORY
To her distinctly unique credit, Tamika Paige is passionate about all things women empowerment.
So much, in fact, that the longtime Capitol Heights, Maryland-based philanthropist and Visionary Author has spearheaded an intriguing collaborative book project, one that is centered largely on like-minded women vividly sharing a variety of life-altering stories and testimonies.
“In honor of celebrating Women’s History Month, every year, God leads me to cultivate a collective project for my Sister Friends Women’s Empowerment group,” Paige told Making Headline News this week. “This year’s theme being, Celebrating Women Who Tell Their Stories, “I was inspired to write a collective anthology.”
The anthology to which Paige is alluding is Seeing Myself In HER Story: A Sister Circle Of Stories To Connect, Heal, and Push Us Through, her highly-anticipated written work that debuted in Summer 2023.

As part of Making Headline News’ 2023 Essence Music Festival national coverage amid “the party with a purpose” event June 29-July 3 in New Orleans, Paige spoke at length about what fueled her desire to host a collaborative book project that, much to her delight, is as good as advertised, given it has already been suitably dubbed an Amazon Bestseller in three categories since its ceremonious debut.
“I feel that writing is freeing,” Paige told MHN. “I also know that when women have an opportunity to share their stories, it is not only helpful to them in pushing through their trauma, it also impacts those who hear the stories as well, inspiring them to push through too. A woman who heals herself, heals her sister.”

An anthology that is comprised of 48 co-authors, Paige began hosting Seeing Myself In HER Story: A Sister Circle Of Stories To Connect, Heal, and Push Us Through in January and needed somewhere in the neighborhood of approximately six months to complete her featured written work.
“It doesn’t matter where you are in life, Seeing Myself in HER Story offers inspiration to all readers,” said a spokesperson for Paige’s first anthology via Amazon.com. “The book greets every reader with testimonies that uplift, encourage, and act as a guide. From the trials and triumphs, to the transparent topics, the S.H.E. — She Has Experience — organization presents a book that is designed to help women continue a path of pushing through.
“The women in this book have been bonded and connected by sharing their truths, hearts, and stories of perseverance and were led in this effort by none-other-than CEO and Founder of Paige Group Inc., Tamika Paige.”
Said Paige when asked what divine message she aspires to send to her audience through her compelling collab project: “The intent of this book is to greet every reader in their journey of life with inspirational stories and testimonies that will uplift, encourage, and guide them through life’s highs and lows.
FIXIN’ HER CROWN
“I’ve been given a calling of bringing women together and swinging our pendulum forward. God continuously reveals to me that we get more accomplished together than apart. I’m committed to dismantling the stigmas around women having trouble getting along. I am a purpose pusher of my sister circle. I promise to leave my sisters better than I found them with every interaction.”
Interestingly enough, Paige and her co-authors have become the beneficiaries of rash of favorable feedback word spread of a highly-anticipated anthology that is foreword by Washington, DC-based empowerment professional Maya Tyler.
“People are connecting with these stories,” Paige said. “I’ve learned even when we feel alone in our stories, we are not. In many ways, we are all connected and can find reflections of our pain, triumphs, lessons, and blessings in each other’s stories. It’s not easy being transparent in a world full of judgement but, when God sends you a sister circle that is willing to hold space for you, getting to the other side of your story is achievable.”
DESTINY STEPS
Other book projects, Paige said, are presently in the works.
“I am finalizing a couple’s book as you read this,” said Paige, who is scheduled to speak at the S.H.E. (She Has Experience) Gala at MGM National Harbor June 24 and appear as a panelist at the Girl Live Experience Maryland July 8, during which she will celebrate the power of women entrepreneurs. “And based on the feedback from the co-authors from this anthology, there may be a Volume 2 in the works.
“It doesn’t matter where you are in life, having the mentality of ‘I am She, She is Her’ allows you to reflect and grant grace to other women,” Paige continued. “Purpose2Platform (P2P) pro-writing and story production lab have been a blessing to this project. Having Maya Tyler to guide us on the production and publishing of this anthology has been God sent. I am totally grateful to her for sharing her knowledge and expertise.”
