Queen, New York’s own Juanita Payne one of 52 authors to contribute to bestselling ‘Soulful Prayers’ project

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. (Jeremiah 29:11 KJV)

PURPOSED FOR PAYNE

WELL CONNECTED — For Maryland author Juanita Payne, all it took was a divine connection with one of her social media followers that impressed it upon God’s heart to position her to reap a supernatural blessing for such a time as now, a time that had ultimately given way to her putting her immeasurable spiritual gift on display for the entire world to see. Payne is one of 52 authors to contribute to the bestselling winning book entitled, “Soulful Prayers: The Power of Intentional Communication With God.”

DALLAS — God’s thoughts toward Juanita Payne undoubtedly are of peace.

Amongst the biggest reasons is that Payne is steadfastly armed with a solid, resilient bend-but-don’t-break prayer life.
“As a woman of God, I have always ministered to people willingly and in every place that I go,” Payne told Making Headline News this week. “It’s always comes natural to learn from, and to use my life experiences as a way to help empower people that I encounter on a daily basis. With being blessed with the opportunity, I’ve set out to continuing my ministry through the book project.”
The book project to which Payne is alluding is the globally-acclaimed, bestselling winning written work entitled, “Soulful Prayers: The Power of Intentional Communication With God.”

A book that was officially launched during a nationally-acclaimed ceremony here last weekend, “Soulful Prayers: The Power of Intentional Communication With God” is forwarded by award-winning and bestselling author/businesswoman Cheryl Polote-Williamson.

For Payne, all it took was a divine connection with one of her social media followers that impressed it upon God’s heart to position her to reap a supernatural blessing for such a time as now, a time that had ultimately given way to her putting her immeasurable spiritual gift on display for the entire world to see.

“I corresponded with a mutual friend and we came to the conclusion that the progression of my spiritual journey included the Soul Movement, and that this was something ordained from God,” Payne said. “I felt that was imperative that we both take part in the continuation of the project.”

And so it came to pass, the God-ordained contributions by Payne, one of 52 Soulful Prayers contributors, who wasted little time obeying the Voice of her Creator only to emerge as the beneficiary of a much-anticipated harvest.

So much for the slew of unfavorable situations and circumstances Payne has endured during this thing called life.

FOR STARTERS — Prior to joining forces with Soulful Prayers authors, Payne co-authored “Beyond Her Reflection,” a book that was officially completed around this time last year and a project that led to this writer being nominated for an IALA award for bestselling co-author.

What matters at this point, quite frankly, is that this devout woman of faith was destined to outlast and conquer virtually every obstacle that emerged in her life to challenge her faith, a trend that has greatly enabled her to live on the larger side of God as a result.

“As a single mother, one of my biggest challenges I faced was overcoming some of the long-term damage that was done in my family,” Payne recalled. “In Soulful Prayers, my divine message is a request of protection and safety for our children, especially our daughters.

“In noticing similar damage in other families, I feel that it is important to tell the world that we shouldn’t feel ashamed to come to God, as He is always available for us and ready to help,” Payne, a native of Queens, New York, continued. “Our daughters encounter both seen and unseen forces that they may not understand or be ready to deal with, and my prayer covers the topics of spiritual warfare, renewal of the mind, and the gift of favor from God.”

Prior to joining forces with the Soulful Prayers authors, Payne co-authored “Beyond Her Reflection,” a book that was officially completed around this time last year, a project that led to this writer being nominated for an IALA award for bestselling co-author.

And so it came to pass, the God-ordained contributions by Payne, one of 52 Soulful Prayers contributors, who wasted little time obeying the Voice of her Creator only to emerge as the beneficiary of a much-anticipated harvest.

“My contribution to this book covered what I had learned growing up in New York and how dealing with my mother’s addiction helped me along my spiritual walk with God,” Payne, who resides in Waldolf, Maryland, explained.

As for the immediate feedback she’s garnered since the release of Soulful Prayers, Payne describes it as nothing short of “amazing.”

“The general reception and the feedback I’ve received have nothing but amazing,” Payne said. “When I shared the story behind my book with a coworker, I felt an immediate sense of conviction from him. After thanking me, he told me that as a father to six daughters, he always felt the call to strengthen his prayer life for them. I’m so grateful, because in using my story with the guidance of wisdom of God, I’m able to help create powerful moments and improve other people’s prayer life.”

IN HER OWN WORDS — “As a woman of God, I have always ministered to people willingly and in every place that I go,” Payne told Making Headline News this week. “It’s always comes natural to learn from, and to use my life experiences as a way to help empower people that I encounter on a daily basis. With being blessed with the opportunity, I’ve set out to continuing my ministry through the book project.”

Which, all things considered, is synonymous to the purpose for which God has created her, Payne acknowledged.

“As a woman, I know that I always have to be a strong figure not only for myself, but for my children,” said Payne, announcing that she is almost certain she will take part in Polote-Williamson’s ‘Soulful Prayers 2.’ “In addition, my own mother was a dedicated prayer warrior and set an amazing example for me. In my continual walk with God and witnessing what my mother did for me, it led me to intercessory prayer. It’s an honor to be able to further extend my calling into other mediums, as the possibilities are limitless.

“My journey has also led me to study health and nutrition in-depth, as I wanted to fully understand how we can better our day to day lifestyles as Christians  and how we can strengthen both our physical and spiritual connection to God,” Payne continued. “In 2017, I graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and became a certified health coach. My research has lead me to commit to my own book project set to release within the next two years.”

Now we know why God’s thoughts toward His beloved child undoubtedly are of peace.

Virginia businesswoman Ieshia Leverette goes from ex-felon to well-educated and established entrepreneur

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33 KJV)

A LIVING TESTIMONY

WOMAN OF MANY HATS — A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Ieshia Nicole Leverette is Fredericksburg, Virginia-based entrepreneur, one who’s widely known for assuming a variety of roles. (Photos By Casandra Loiacono)

For what it’s worth, Ieshia Leverette was only keeping it 100.

“I could have been a statistic,” Leverette, an ex-felon, said during a recent interview with Making Headline News, recalling the slew of the obstacles and hurdles about which she had to clear and overcome during the course of her young life.

“I have seen a lot and overcome a lot by choice and circumstances, but I never let a closed door stop me.”
She’s got that right.
Credit Leverette’s fervent desire and steadfast determination to defy arguably the grandest of odds as the biggest reasons she’s managed to make continuous strides as a thriving, progressive businesswoman.
An entrepreneurship tenure that dates back to 2010, Leverette’s inspiration for functioning in her element stems from learning of the various challenges other women have faced.

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Leverette, 31, is Fredericksburg, Virginia-based entrepreneur, one who’s widely known for assuming a variety of roles.

An entrepreneurship track record she’s been afforded to put on display in several of establishments around the country, Leverette is an accomplished real estate team owner/operator, as well as a life coach, author, T-Shirt’s and pod cast host.

While she doesn’t shy away from the notion that she could have very well been a statistic, amongst the things about which Leverette is appreciative of the fact that she’s gone to great lengths to embrace her imperfections, which has greatly enabled her to pour into the lives of others.

HOLDING IT DOWN — An entrepreneurship track record she’s been afforded to put on display in several of establishment around the country, Leverette is an accomplished real estate team owner/operator, as well as a life coach, author, T-Shirt’s and pod cast host.

“Through being a realtor, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many people from so many different walks of life, and I am most humbly fulfilled when I am able to pour into their lives,” Leverette said. “I am the one they call to celebrate with them, because I impact them in a very real way.”

As Leverette explains, her steadfast commitment to impacting and enriching lives essentially have become the feature objective, of sorts, to her divine calling as a successful businesswoman.

“I don’t worry about the buying and selling of the home as much as I do in mentoring them, guiding them and helping them see their own potential,” said Leverette, explaining how her competitive drive in life has propelled her to start a host of business ventures. “It’s an unmatched experience they get with me as a person.  Everyone I come across, I tend to affect their life in a very real way, even if they don’t tell me until many years later. I have been called to pour into others’ lives and show them another side of them that they didn’t know existed.”

LEADING BY EXAMPLE — While she doesn’t shy away from the notion that she could have very well been a statistic, amongst the things about which Leverette is appreciative is the fact that she’s gone to great lengths to embrace her imperfections, which has greatly enabled her to pour into others’ lives.

To her credit, Leverette certain possesses the education and training, which have contributed mightily to her sustained entrepreneurship success.

A 2005 graduate of Cleveland Height High School — she actually graduated one year early thanks in large part the administration’s approval that allowed her to take additional classes — Leverette enrolled at Cleveland State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Relations and Advertisement in 2010.

Consequently, she’s enrolled at Argosy University of Hawaii, where she acquired an MBA in Marketing in 2012.

As for her assortment of business ventures that accommodate individuals ranging mostly between the ages of 27 to 55, credit Leverette’s wealth of wisdom, coupled with her spirit of compassion as the reasons those with whom she customarily crosses paths often come away overwhelmingly empowered and encouraged, thus acquiring a new lease on life.

Just like she has ever since she delved off into the ever-so-competitive world of entrepreneurship.

“My business allows me to watch others become confident in whom they are. I love building tomorrow’s leaders.  I love seeing progression. I am even more enthralled to watch women regain their independence, because we often forget about ourselves taking care of others.” — Virginia Businesswoman Ieshia Leverette

Interestingly, what it all boils down to, Leverette emphasized, is devising way to impact lives — and to it daily.

For the rest of her life.

“To impact lives that would otherwise continue in the same pattern,” said Leverette, when asked what her personal mission is for running the day-to-day operations of her business. “To make people see themselves clearly and with power. To help people stop doubting their abilities. People ask me why I create my own competition, but honestly if you become better, then I’ve done my job.”

An entrepreneurship tenure that dates back to 2010, Leverette’s inspiration for functioning in her element stems from learning of the various challenges other women have faced.

STAYING THE COURSE

DESTINY STEPS — As Leverette explains, her steadfast commitment to impacting and enriching lives essentially has become the feature objective, of sorts, to her divine calling as a successful businesswoman.

“(I become inspired by) women who have lost their power in a marriage or after having children,” Leverette said. “People who are just as lost and don’t know where to start. It’s really just how my heart operates. I just want people to know all that there is to know about the life they live today and how to maximize that time and make it the most fulfilling.”

Talk about having mounted a dramatic comeback for the ages, from a felon to a successful entrepreneur, one who’s undoubtedly living her best life.

“I am just a woman that got a felony 12 years ago and didn’t let it stop me from becoming who I am today,” Leverette said. “I’ve always fought to overcome any things thrown my way. From having 3 jobs while on a full-time school schedule, to becoming an entrepreneur and dominating a male dominant industry purely off of me being genuine, caring, and motivational to others.”

All the while keeping it 100 in the process.

New York author Shawn Headley’s new book enjoying instant success with unprecedented sales

I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all. (Ecclesiastes 9:11 NIV)

At the end of the real day, you’ve got to grasp a thorough concept of what it means to go far beyond start.

That, after all, practically sums up why Shawn Headley has become fully committed to often posing the million dollar question.

That is, “Are you confused about how to get started?

“God gave me the vision to write the book in 2016, but as the book title goes, I didn’t know how to start,” Headley, a Long Island, New York-area author, told Making Headline News this week.

PURCHASE AUTHOR SHAWN’S BOOK HERE: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1727575997/

The book to which Headley is alluding is her informative and compelling project that is entitled, “The Start Is What Stops Most People: 7 Simple Steps To Starting Your Nonprofit Organization.”

A book that officially made its presence on the market a less than two months ago, Headley’s “The Start Is What Stops Most People: 7 Simple Steps To Starting Your Nonprofit Organization” is an extension of her Each One Teach One Mentoring Service, or nonprofit organization.

A native of the Bronx, New York, Headley has enjoyed what apparently has been instant success since the release her new book.

GPS SYSTEM TO SUCCESS — A book that officially made its presence on the market a less than two months ago, Headley’s “The Start Is What Stops Most People: 7 Simple Steps To Starting Your Nonprofit Organization” is an extension of her Each One Teach One Mentoring Service, or nonprofit organization.

That’s because she immediately sold out of her initial batch just days after fielding it (not including her online orders through Amazon).

More than anything, though, credit her immeasurable body of work through her professional as the biggest reason her book is enjoying sustained success.

“My reason for writing the book is because as I coach individuals, the one thing has been said throughout. I’ve always wanted to start my nonprofit and I didn’t know how and I didn’t know where to begin.” — Author Shawn Headley

To her credit, all of that has changed considerably in recent years, in large part because Headley’s nonprofit organization experience spans more than eight years.

PUTTING IN WORK — More than anything, credit Headley’s immeasurable body of work through her professional as the biggest reason her book is enjoying sustained success.

For instance, Each One Teach One began with a vision to help givers in the nonprofit industry achieve what they deserve, according to a detailed breakdown of Headley’s organization at https://eachoneteachonementoring.com.

Such perseverance had ultimately led to Headley having established A Stairway To Hope — her very first nonprofit organization — in 2010.

So much for stopping at the very start, considering this progressive and resourceful businesswoman-turned-author needed roughly two weeks to start and finish “The Start Is What Stops Most People: 7 Simple Steps To Starting Your Nonprofit Organization.”

MORE ON EACH ONE TEACH ONE: https://eachoneteachonementoring.com

“The divine message I’m sending with the book is that if you’re arm with knowledge of how to execute your vision, then you can get your dream off the ground,” Headley explained. “The message I’m also trying to give is the start is what stops most people, but through this book, your new beginnings can be less stressful.”

Interestingly, it seems that Headley’s unique analogies and suggestions have inspired countless of people, particularly those who aspire to establish a nonprofit organization.

How else to explain the rapid sellout of her first batch of books?

PURCHASE AUTHOR SHAWN’S BOOK HERE: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1727575997/

“The feedback that I’ve gotten from the book is that it’s comprehensive and the light bulb goes off after reading the book,” Headley said. “I believe God put me on this earth as a giver.”

To her credit, Headley’s professional resume is such that she customarily gives mightily, courtesy of agape love, coupled with a wealth of experience as a nonprofit organization insider, of sorts.

“It started with my own nonprofit organization, A Stairway To Hope, which is a community outreach organization for individuals  and families in need,” said Headley, who has announced a second book is presently in the works and will be released by year’s end. “And now I create more givers by helping nonprofits get off the ground.”

Because, after all, at the end of the real day, you’ve got to grasp a thorough concept of what it means to go far beyond start.

Virginia author LaShana Lloyd conquers slew of odds, shares testimonies in awe-inspiring books

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES LASHANA LLOYD

LaShana Lloyd undoubtedly aspires daily to live and savor a faith led life.

Literally and figuratively.

Consider, for instance, how Lloyd essentially drove home such an intriguing notion by way of a rather compelling Facebook post shortly after 8 a.m. EST on Sunday.

Said Lloyd in a spirited, thought-provoking post that was comprised of what she dubbed, “True Words of Wisdom:”

SET ASIDE FOR GOD’S USE — A well-respected military veteran, LaShana Lloyd is accomplished businesswoman and author, who has been blessed — and stayed true to herself — mightily, considering she has made her presence in the ever-so-popular world of authorship.

People will only have as much control as you allow them to have. If you keep letting a person hurt you, they will only hurt you more. If you keep letting a person use you, they will not stop using you. If you allow a person to get comfortable with disrespecting you, there’s a high possibility that they will not leave that place of acting like that toward you anytime soon. But the antidote to all of these problems and those similar to these is putting a stop to it. It’s as simple as that. When you understand who you are and how valuable of a person you are, you will no longer choose to settle for being treated less than that. Grow into the confidence God has given you and you will grow into the person He has created you to be, a person of worth.

Some pretty dauntless and awe-inspiring words by a devout woman of faith whom, to her credit, has remained true to herself both in the natural and spirit.

A well-respected military veteran, Lloyd is accomplished Woodbridge, Virginia businesswoman and author, who has been blessed — and stayed true to herself — mightily, considering she has made her presence in the ever-so-popular world of authorship.

A native of Clio, South Carolina, Lloyd is amongst 22 writers who joined forces to compose the book entitled, “You Have No Idea The Hell I’ve Been Through,” a collaborative and informative written document whereby they miraculously spoke about how God steered them from what they described as pain to purpose.

For Lloyd, her assortment of emotionally-driven, life-changing testimonies have benefited and enhanced not only her faith walk with God, but rather those whom, by all accounts, have endured similar experiences.

“To give my testimonies about how I overcame witnessing my father abuse my mother, being sexually abused as a child, and being black balled from the military,” said Lloyd, during a weekend interview with Making Headline News, when asked what is her purpose for choosing to collaborate last summer with a host of authors to compose You Have No Idea The Hell I’ve Been Through.

Not to be outdone, Lloyd is also responsible for having written yet another remarkably compelling book, this one entitled, “What’s Blocking Your Confidence: Effective Ways To Conquer Your Fears.”

Powered by Rejoice Essential Publishing, Lloyd’s “What’s Blocking Your Confidence: Effective Ways To Conquer Your Fears” was officially released on August 11, 2018, and is centered largely on this Christian-based writer providing some pertinent information, most notably that which fear, as well as the essential tools needed to walk in the confidence that God has given us.

This book also speaks about a great deal of transparency shared by Lloyd, particularly during which she was once bound by fear and how God miraculously delivered her from it.

THE ROMANS 8:18 FACTOR — A native of Clio, South Carolina, Lloyd is amongst 22 writers who joined forces to compose the book entitled, “You Have No Idea The Hell I’ve Been Through,” a collaborative and informative written document whereby they miraculously spoke about how God steered them from what they described as pain to purpose.

“There is hope for those who believe that living in fear is the way of life,” said a spokesperson in a detailed breakdown of Lloyd’s What’s Blocking Your Confidence: Effective Ways To Conquer Your Fears at Amazon.com. “You no longer have to be bound by fear. You can be set free. In this book, you will understand what fear is, and how the enemy (satan) is using fear against you. Find out what happens when you allow fear to override your faith.”

As expected, the feedback since the much-anticipated releases of these books have been overwhelmingly favorable, Lloyd acknowledged.

BASKING IN GOD’S GLORY — As expected, the feedback since the much-anticipated releases of these books have been overwhelmingly favorable, Lloyd acknowledged.

“I was blown away at how so many women told me my story touched them,” Lloyd said. “They were shocked at the things I had went through and how God was able to heal me from all of the pain, betrayal, and fears that I had gone through. So many women are embarrassed by the challenges they had to face — and that’s exactly what the enemy wants — but because of my transparency, so many women and men can be set free, stay free, and receive the confidence that God has for them.”

Having accepted what she labels her God-mandated calling to authorship in 2015, Lloyd doesn’t shy away from the notion that God is using her as a vessel to write in such a fashion that her immeasurable gifts would ultimately to draw others to or back to Him.

“The Father told me that He did not allow me to go through everything that I went through to watch me suffer,” said Lloyd, adding that she’s currently fielding speaking engagement requests to promote of her books. “He allowed me to go through everything that I have gone through so that it can be used to help others, especially women. I have a passion to encourage women all over the world.

THE LORD’S DOING — Having accepted what she labels her God-mandated calling to authorship in 2015, Lloyd doesn’t shy away from the notion that God is using her as a vessel to write in such a fashion that her immeasurable gifts would ultimately to draw others to or back to Him.

“Encouraging others with the words that I write and speak is how I am able to not only become stronger every time I release these words, but how others can gain the strength and confidence that they need so that their testimony can come forth as well.”

Eloquently said by this devout woman of faith, one who undoubtedly aspires daily to live and savor a faith led life.

Literally and figuratively.

South Carolina author Ayan Mobley’s new book provides a unique twist to military life for single mothers

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES AYAN MOBLEY

Amongst Ayan Mobley’s resolutions heading into 2018 was to start and finish her first book.

Much to her delight, she’s done just that, having composed a rather informative and compelling project that figures to impact single mothers from various walks of life.

“The reason for producing my book was to share awareness concerning life as a single parent, as well as an African-American female drill sergeant from the perspective of a child,” Mobley told Making Headline News this week.

MOBLEY’S MAKING MUCH NOISE — A project that is uncharacteristically short in length — 28 pages to be technical — Ayan Mobley’s new book entitled, “My Mommy Is A Drill Sergeant,” is a little more than a month removed from its much-anticipated release and, to her credit, it has already created an awe-inspiring buzz.

The book to which Mobley is alluding is her recently-released written document entitled, “My Mommy Is A Drill Sergeant.”

A MUST READ — To her credit and because of the divine calling on her life, it’s safe to assume that Mobley’s testimonies are having influential impacts amongst military moms around the country — and even outside of the United States.

“I have gotten a lot of positive feedback from people in my own demographic, as well as others who are not familiar with the lifestyle of a military family,” Mobley, a native of Washington, D. C. who currently resides in Columbia, South Carolina. “Women in the military still seem to be a new concept for many people.”

That black women have found their way into various branches of the military is something that should never be taken for granted, much less overlooked, Mobley hinted.

“Black female drill sergeants in the Army were not as common as they are right now, and being a single parent as a drill sergeant is completely new. Most people are amazed by the amount of activities that a person in my position accomplishes in the course of a day or what my job entails.” — Drill Sergeant Ayan Mobley

RAISING THE BAR — That black women have found their way into various branches of the military is something that should never be taken for granted, much less overlooked, Mobley hinted.

That Mobley is afforded the luxury to juggle her assortment of duties as a well-respected drill sergeant and a devoted mother, it is due in large part to her valiant contributions regarding these trends that essentially have brought about a renewed sense of enthusiasm for a number of women, particularly those whom likewise serve their country as single mothers.

“I never thought in a million years that I would be a drill sergeant or be able to be a great influence on others,” Mobley said. “Sometimes, God causes you to have certain experiences so that you can be a testimony to others.”

To her credit and because of the divine calling on her life, it’s safe to assume that Mobley’s testimonies are having influential impacts amongst military moms around the country — and even outside of the United States.

STANDING OVATION — “I have gotten a lot of positive feedback from people in my own demographic, as well as others who are not familiar with the lifestyle of a military family,” Mobley, a native of Washington, D. C. who currently resides in Columbia, South Carolina. “Women in the military still seem to be a new concept for many people.”

“Being a drill sergeant as a single parent is one of the hardest task that I have completed to date, and without His grace and mercy, I would not have been able to accomplish the things that I have accomplished, and been able to have the necessary experience, and know how to be inspired to write a book about my experiences and share what I have been through with others,” Mobley said. “Raising a child alone should never stop you from being the best you can be, and I have been able to do it with God’s help.”

Now for this notable disclaimer, Mobley acknowledged.

“I know that God has so much more in store for me,” she said without hesitation. “I do plan to make my children’s book a series that’s geared toward letting everyone have a glimpse on what it feels like for a child to grow up in a military community especially as a minorities. I am also in the process of creating a blog entitled, ‘Military Mocha Mommy,’ which is a blog that shares resources and experiences about raising children as an African-American female service member.”

For what it’s worth, Mobley is especially grateful of the fact that she has been blessed to carry out her long-awaited vision in the form of a book, which is continuous, yet brief page-turner.

“The divine message that I am sending to my audience is the importance of family and the importance of children knowing what their parents do for a living and the fact that we set the example for our children,” Mobley said. “Our children are watching and emulating everything we do.”

Mobley also has announced the startup of her forthcoming organization called, “Military Mocha Mommy,” which will center largely on providing support and resources for military mothers and their families.

BEST OF BOTH WORLDS — That Mobley is afforded the luxury to juggle her assortment of duties as a well-respected drill sergeant and devoted mother, it is due in large part to her valiant contributions regarding these trends that essentially have brought about a renewed sense of enthusiasm for a number of women whom likewise serve their country as single mothers.

As for her itinerary, Mobley will be on hand for the Child Youth Services of Fort Jackson on September 24, during which she will be hosting a presentation and reading her book.

Also, Mobley said additional speaking engagements and round table discussions are presently in the works.

Houston entrepreneur Nicole Peele survives domestic violence, starts a resourceful online wellness company

A MAKING HEADLINE NEWS SPECIAL REPORT

Just after 9 o’clock Wednesday morning, Nicole Peele was met by a wave of emotions.

For all the right reasons, too.

LIVING HER BEST LIFE NOW — Nicole Peele, a 49-year-old resourceful Houston businesswoman, is the owner and CEO of Nicole Peele Wellness.

“I’m excited and happy and I don’t know if I want to cry,” Peele told Making Headline News during a phone conversation from Houston.

To grasp a thorough understanding of why Peele, a 49-year-old resourceful businesswoman who’s the owner and CEO of Nicole Peele Wellness, was harboring a rather spirited countenance hours after sunrise Wednesday, look no further than the assortment of hurdles about which she’s had to clear in recent years.

Looking back, no one should deem it a surprise to know why she’s admittedly excited and happy and, well, doesn’t know if she just might settle for unleashing a few tears.

For all the right reasons, mind you.

“I’m a domestic violence survivor,” Peele said.

To be more technical, Peele is a once battered woman whom, not too long ago, had become the subject of death threats by her ex-husband.

She recalls like yesterday how in 2016 on New Year’s Eve, she and her two teenage daughters had vacated their home after her abusive husband had left for the gym.

“We left with the clothes on our back,” Peele recalled.

As if that wasn’t enough to shake the spirits of this former military solider, Peele and her daughters were essentially homeless for approximately three months, having established a residence in her car, not to mention having staked out in different hotels, all the while hiding from her former husband whom, according to Peele, had “promised to kill me.”

“He put a gun to our youngest daughter’s head three months before we left,” Peele explained. “My girls have PTSD because of the abuse and gun incident. God kept us. Reiki was a great tool to help us heal emotionally, which is why I was drawn to it.”

Thanks in large part to reiki — which is a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient’s body and restore physical and emotional well-being — Peele managed to not just recover mightily from domestic abuse.

Most importantly, she managed to connect with the divine purpose for which she was created.

A United States Army veteran, Peele is a certified Holistic Health Coach and a Naturopathic Rieki Master, whose Lifestyle and Wellness Company customarily provides online wellness coaching and mobile reiki therapy.

A HEARTY SALUTE — A United States Army veteran, Peele is a certified Holistic Health Coach and a Naturopathic Rieki Master, whose lifestyle and Wellness Company customarily provides online wellness coaching and mobile reiki therapy.

“My mission as you start your wellness journey is to meet you where you are,” Peele said. “I make you smarter about food and your relationship with food.  I teach my clients about primary foods…these are things that feed you off the plate.”

As Peele explained, her online wellness venture is grouped into four distinct categories: healthy relationships, desired career, regular physical activity, and a spiritual practice (“not religion,” she emphasized).

“As a Reiki Master, I provide energy healing to clients who suffer from physical, emotional, and spiritual traumas,” Peele said.

A native of Mount Olive, North Carolina, Peele’s desire to start her online wellness company was fueled amid freak back and hip injuries, during which she was on active duty.

“I had four surgeries in two years,” Peele recalled. “I was walking with a walker and crutches. I was 210 pounds and so unhappy.”

Interestingly and much to her delight, she took the initiative to implement the essential changes that would greatly alter the overall landscape of her life.

“I started reading healthy blogs, changing how I age, and started to feel better inside and out…sleeping better, more energy and happy again,” Peele said. “I lost 45 pounds and have kept it off for five years.”

An online wellness company that went into full operations in 2012, Peele has become greatly inspired to aid other women achieve their health-related goals and objectives.

“My competitive drive is to help women who are in the same place that I was find health and happiness,” Peele said.

GIVEN THEM THEIR PROPS — As for those who inspired her to broaden her horizon by starting her business, Peele credits childhood friend Edwina Moore, who she recalled having purchased a NutriBullet and posted it on Facebook some five years ago, thus giving way to favorable results.

As for those who inspired her to broaden her horizon by starting her business, Peele credits childhood friend Edwina Moore, whom she recalled had purchased a NutriBullet and posted it on Facebook some five years ago, thus giving way to favorable results.

“I bought one and haven’t look back,” said Peele, adding that she’s appreciative to Sharetha Simpson, her Reiki Master, whom she credits for having inspired her to become an energy healer.

Arguably one of Peele’s grandest supporters is Chandra Williams, the founder of Amazing Soldiers, Inc. in nearby Katy, Texas, where Peele presently serves as Program Director.

“Chandra has been one of my biggest supporters and encouragers,” Peele said.

This, to her credit, is a far cry from the past.

GIVING BACK IN A BIG WAY — An online wellness company that went into full operations in 2012, Peele has become greatly inspired to aid other women achieve their health-related goals and objectives.

This, to her credit, also sums up why no one should deem it a surprise to know why she’s admittedly excited and happy and, well, doesn’t know if she just might settle for releasing a few tears.

For all the right reasons, too.

“When I was going through my wellness journey, I had nobody to support me,” Peele said. “Edwina lives in Florida. I was in Maryland.  I wasn’t able to explain to my family the reason I wanted to change our lifestyle, so they were not on board.  It is so important that we take back our health and wellness. If I can inspire one person to make healthier choices, then my work is done.”

New York Celebrity/Relationship Therapist Vladimire Calixte: ‘I really want the professional athletes to inquire about Therapy For Black Men’

“I really want the professional athletes to inquire about my new Therapist Directory TherapyForBlackMen.org, because strength still needs support.”  — New York Businesswoman Vladimire Calixte

Vladimire Calixte can be appropriately described as a number of things.

Game changer is surely one of them.

HAVING A GLOBAL IMPACT — A native of Haiti who migrated to the United States at the tender age of eight, Vladimire Calixte is widely known for her sustained success as a New York City-based entrepreneur, a tenure that spans nearly two decades.

“I am so excited and honored to be on the cover of Bronze Magazine May Issue,” Calixte told Making Headline News this week.

Much to her delight, there are a variety of reasons why Calixte’s countenance is such that she’s harboring an array of excitement, all while waiting with great expectancy the immeasurable success that figures to come her way in the foreseeable future.

A native of Haiti who migrated to the United States at the tender age of eight, Calixte is widely known for her sustained success as a New York City-based entrepreneur, a tenure that spans nearly two decades.

“My own past challenges and emotional pain inspired me to do this work,” Calixte said.

The work to which Calixte is alluding is her valiant, well-publicized contributions as a Celebrity and Relationship Therapist, as well as an accomplished Author and Transformational Speaker in the Private Practice industry known as Life Rebuilding.

MORE ON LIFE BUILDING: https://www.liferebuilding.com/

A New York City-based establishment in which Calixte is the proud founder of the Therapist Directory called Therapy For Black Men, amongst her notable responsibilities is centered largely on helping men of color find a wide range of resources aimed at helping them in their search for a multiculturally-competent therapist.

“I engage individuals, couples, and families in therapy,” Calixte explained. “As such, I work with children, adolescents, women, men, couples and families from all walks of life, including celebrities, politicians and professional athletes.”

When asked how her competitive drive in life has greatly propelled her for your business venture, Calixte appropriately provided a whole new twist to such an inquiry.

GAME CHANGER — Calixte is Celebrity and Relationship Therapist as well as an accomplished Author and Transformational Speaker in the Private Practice industry known as Life Rebuilding.

“I wouldn’t say a competitive drive, but a deep passion to help others live a powerful life by supporting and challenging them to become emotionally free,” Calixte said. “That’s what ultimately sent me on the path to opening up my own practice. Furthermore, because of my private practice, I am able to support more people in their healing journeys via several platforms such as writing my books, speaking, as well as radio and television.”

A progressive and thriving business venture that is starting to attract more of a global presence although it is based in America’s largest city, Calixte has certainly paid her dues, particularly with regards to savoring sustained success and establishing solid rapports with celebrity athletes.

Interestingly, she boasts the essential educational credentials to function mightily in her element for such a time as now.

Having earned a Sociology degree from Hunter College, Calixte followed up that milestone by earning a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from the historic New York University.

Interestingly, she is currently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor as well as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and her presence in the psychology industry spans more than a decade, during which she has helped various clients around the world overcome addiction, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, trauma, and sexual abuse and PTSD.

Also, Calixte is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.

As for her wealth of experience in her selected field, Calixte routinely works with children, adolescents, women, men, couples, and families from all walks of life, including celebrities, politicians and professional athletes, she acknowledged (“I really want the professional athletes to inquire about Therapy for Black Men.”)

“I am a big proponent that our actions affect seven generations,” said Calixte, adding that her own past challenges and emotional pain inspired me to do this work. “My work is supporting people to heal from wounds and traumas, which will greatly impact their lives seven generations over. I know what it feels like to muster the courage to be imperfect and be ok with that. I know what it feels like to grow up without a father. My mom did her very best as a single mother; however, my father’s absence was painful for me for a long time. I know the feeling of “emptiness” and “worthlessness” because my father chose not to be in my life.”

For what it’s worth, fortifying an array of transparency to those whom she assists has proven extremely beneficial, thus contributed mightily to Calixte’s success.

“Living that experience was a source of hurt, anger, and feelings of diminishment,” Calixte recalled. “I have journeyed from pain to inner peace. Also, at age 14, we had a fire in my apartment on a very cold January day. The bed that I was sleeping on caught fire. I could have died. We ran out of the apartment with nothing but the clothes on our backs.

“Everything was completely destroyed,” Calixte continued. “So when a client comes to me and states, ‘I am down to nothing’ or ‘I am having empty feelings.’  I can look into this person’s eyes and know exactly what he or she is feeling because I have been there. It’s that connection. That is what gives purpose to my life.”

INTERNATIONALLY-ACCLAIMED — Calixte’s immeasurable body of work practically sums up why she has been invited by Euro Mental Health to be its Keynote Speaker at the Annual Congress on Mental Health in July 2018 in Paris, France.

Not only that, Calixte’s immeasurable body of work practically sums up why she has been invited by Euro Mental Health to be its Keynote Speaker at the Annual Congress on Mental Health in July 2018 in Paris, France.

Oh, and let’s not forget the other dazzling honor whereby she will be thrust on the cover of Bronze Magazine’s May issue.

“By the grace of God, I am honored to be named the No. 1 Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York by Thumbtack for 2018,” said Calixte, who has also announced that she will be hosting a nine-city book tour for the forthcoming re-release of her award-winning book entitled, Naked and Transparent: Six Vital Tools for Knowing Yourself and Attracting Healthy Relationships.

“My work enables people to become aware of their narrative identity,” Calixte added. “I am a big proponent of knowing who you really are. When you know who you really are, it will change the way live and the way you love. Similarly, it will give you an unparalleled sense of clarity.”

Spoken like a true game changer.

Springfield, Massachusetts entertainer Shay-Nyce Lyrrixx to icon Missy Elliot: ‘I believe we would work well together’

EDITOR’S NOTE: For booking information on this Springfield, Massachusetts-based entertainer Making Headline News has highlighted, she can reached via email at: Shaynyce@gmail.com.

Sandra Beverly Blushings could go on and on, talking about her daughter, Shanice Dominique Lewis Brawner, a gifted and talented youngster who doesn’t shy away from the notion that she boasts lofty aspirations of becoming a renowned songwriter.

ANOINTED FOR THIS — Widely known amongst her peers and fans as “Shay-Nyce Lyrrixx,” Shanice Dominique Lewis Brawner’s immeasurable gifts as a singer were discovered when her grandmother commanded her to sing in the church choir when she was child. What she had ultimately found out because of her act of obedience is that, well, only what you do for Christ will last.

“She took all my features,” Blushing, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, jokingly said of her 26-year-old daughter. “(People) think I’m her sister. I am not allowed to correct people if they think that, depending on her mood.”

All things considered, the bond between Blushings and her daughter is one that could be greatly described as inseparable to say the least.

It is, by all accounts, because of their close-knit relationship that Blushings deems it essential every chance she gets to push and promote, thus share with the masses Brawner’s assortments of endeavors, most notably her talents as a singer, songwriter, rapper, and poet.

SENDING A DIRECT MESSAGE? At the end of the real day, no one, it seems, inspires Brawner like Missy Elliot. “(Definitely) Missy Elliot, because she shows that her unique style is timeless,” Brawner said. “She is way ahead of the game even to this day and age. I believe we would work well together. All I need is a minute to try to impress her. That woman is a legend, an icon. Everything about her gives me life, hope, inspiration.”

For Brawner, that her mother routinely goes to great lengths to demonstrate unyielding support has benefited her mightily since she appropriately stepped out on faith courtesy of her talents.

“My endeavors are songwriting, poetry, and rapping and dance,” Brawner said. “I do it all.”

Widely known amongst her peers and fans as “Shay-Nyce Lyrrixx,” Brawner’s immeasurable gifts as a singer were discovered when her grandmother commanded her to sing in the church choir when she was child.

What she had ultimately found out because of her act of obedience is that, well, only what you do for Christ will last.

Interestingly, Brawner’s father assumes dual roles and as her disk jockey and promoter and, according to Brawner’s mother, her daughter is a devoted “daddy’s girl.”

“I’m trying to be one of the best songwriters in the history of music,” Brawner says with a straight face. “I am a performer. I try to perfect my gifts.”

Much to her delight, she has her beloved mother and father to thank for helping steer her in the right direction through her music.

“My mom taught me hip hop dance,” Brawner said. “She’s from the Bronx.”

Interestingly, her father, widely known as Infrared DJ Scope, assumes dual roles and as her disk jockey and promoter and, according to Brawner’s mother, her daughter is a devoted “daddy’s girl.”

A native of Springfield, Massachusetts, Brawner’s music and writing gifts had become popular within the walls of her high school, New Leadership Charter School, during which she had become a fixture for winning poetry contests through her online poem submissions.

“My teachers believed in me,” Brawner said. “They also were poets and I looked up to them. What I love most about being in my endeavors is being myself. No one tried to box me in. I do it all. I like being creative…waking up out my sleep to (conduct) late night writing sessions.

Besides the tireless support of her parents, her brother, fellow entertainer “Scope 2 Smooth,” has contributed mightily to Brawner’s success.

“He makes my beats,” Brawner said.

To her credit, the bulk of her music can be heard on a variety of message boards and via video footage, a trend her camp hopes will ultimately give way to some globally-acclaimed exposure she so desperately seeks — and deserves.

MOM KNOWS BEST — All things considered, the bond between Sandra Blushings and her daughter is one that could be described as inseparable to say the least.

“My mission is to break the chains,” said Brawner, adding that a majority of music is dedicated to people ranging in ages 18 and up. “When you come from a city nobody knows, it’s a struggle and hard to reach the world.”

All of which practically sums up why Brawner isn’t just destined to break chains, but rather she’s seemingly on a quest to help make Springfield a popular establishment besides being the birthplace where the game of basketball was originated.

“We have so many talented people here, but the world doesn’t know about this corner,” Brawner said. “I want to show the world I deserve to share my God-given gifts, to walk the stage at BET Awards as the best new songwriter and artist around.”

More than anything, Brawner admittedly will always be guilty of recalling what grandma and grandpa told her back in the day.

“My grandparents told me I’m rooted for greatness,” she said. “I believe them and in myself.”

Having been an entertainer since she was  15 years of age, Brawner has proven to be a notable risk taker, considering she sings mostly about the issues she senses “people are scared to talk about,” most notably issues pertaining to brokenness, fighting back, heartache and pain to winning, even domestic violence, she acknowledged.

“My inspiration is (rapper) Missy Elliot,” Brawner said. “No matter the season, she will blend any time any day. She makes me want to win. She is all (of my aspiring) gifts rolled on one. I love her and Nikki Minaj for her creativity and her being that she is and not worried about others.”

Wait…there are a few other entertainers to whom Brawner looks up.

GLOBAL IMPACT BREWING? Brawner isn’t just destined to break chains, but rather she’s seemingly on a quest to make Springfield a popular establishment besides being the birthplace where the game of basketball was originated.

“Remy Ma is like the Queen of maturity,” said Brawer, sounding very much like a music critic, of sorts. “She is sassy and hood in the heart and gets solid messages out that it doesn’t matter where we from, we gotta make them know our name.”

And then there is pop music/R & B icons Mary J Blige and Monica, whom Brawner deems her inspiration for telling thought-provoking stories through their music.

Talk about sending a direct message to arguably her biggest inspiration in the entertainment industry.

Psst…psst..Missy, are you reading this?

Four-time Amazon bestselling author Elona Washington making her presence felt courtesy of two awe-inspiring books

If you listen to Elona Washington talk long enough about her successful tenure as an accomplished, progressive author then, chances are, it wouldn’t take very long to grasp the notion that writing is something about which she had become passionate since she was too young to remember.

A TRUE INSPIRATION — A native of Washington, D. C., Author Elona Washington deemed it essential to finally share of her emotional, yet spiritually gut-checking experiences through her featured book entitled, From Ivy League To Stripper Life, a memoir that chronicles how her life spiraled out of control, coupled with the valiant lessons she learned along the way. Washington was also the catalyst of How Divorce Became My Deliverance, a September 2017 released anthology that Washington assembled along with a number of other accomplished authors.

“I was given the vision to tell my story as a kid and I would start but never finish,” Washington told Making Headline News during an interview this week. “I was too scared.”

Out of fairness to Washington, there is, by all accounts, a rather justifiable reason why she spent a better portion of her life gripped and saddled by fear.

“I’ve been a victim of child sex abuse since the age of five,” Washington said without hesitation. “The abuse first occurred in (Washington) D. C., and it happened again when my sister and I went to live with our mom in Princeton (New Jersey).”

As Washington vividly recalls, she encountered as many as 10 sexual abusers by the time she had turned 10 or, as she disclosed, men and boys from two different cities, all of whom never knew each other, a few of whom were well over 30 years of age.

A native of Washington, D. C., Washington deemed it essential to finally share of her emotional, yet spiritually gut-checking experiences through her featured book entitled, From Ivy League To Stripper Life, a memoir that chronicles how her life spiraled out of control, coupled with the valiant lessons she learned in the process.

A 138-page written document that officially hit the market in June 2016, Washington’s From Ivy League To Stripper Life also recalls her assortment of childhood memories, most notably those true stories from within the walls of the dreaded strip club, as well as resourceful tips and life lessons she eloquently offers to every wife, mother, and single woman.

“In these pages, you may even discover that it’s possible what you’re going through has been assigned to you,” said a spokesperson in a detailed description of Washington’s book at Amazon.com.

STILL SHE RISE — Interestingly, Washington sensed that because of the constant sexual abuse she endured as a child, she wasn’t merely equipped to become a product of her environment, particularly as it relates to advancing her education on what many consider to be college’s biggest stage.

All things considered, Washington, a native of D. C., admittedly sensed that all of her sexual abuse encounters were self-manufactured.

“I thought the abuse was my fault,” Washington said with a straight face and without hesitation. “There was something about me that made men want to have sex with me. “I thought I wasn’t protected and favored by God, so and I was meant to be nothing but a stripper.”

“I wasn’t smart like my Ivy League mom and stepdad,” Washington said. “My younger sister was just as smart and it made me feel like I didn’t belong.”

And then there is Washington’s latest book entitled, How Divorce Became My Deliverance, a September 2017 released anthology that Washington assembled along with a number of other accomplished authors.

SIGN OF THINGS TO COME — A four-time award-winning bestselling author, Washington has announced that other books are on the horizon much sooner than later.

Generally, because researchers estimate that marriages have somewhere in the neighborhood of a 50 percent survival rate, Washington and eight other divorcees have joined forces to share how they collectively mourned the loss of their marriage and ultimately conquered their pain, as revealed in a detailed description of this 157-page anthology.

“As long as we have breath in our bodies, we will experience pain,” said Washington, explaining the divine message she aspires to send to her audience through her books. “The divine message is that you can live free from the pain of your past. We can’t run from it or suppress it. When you do, it shows up as anger, depression, etc., and that has the ability to affect every area of your life.”

After all, Washington specifically emphasized, chronic anger, coupled with resentment can greatly affect one’s physical health, thus causing heart disease, high blood pressure,  some form of a  stroke and, perhaps insomnia.

“Learning to let it go helps us to live freely,” Washington said.

When asked in what ways her books align with the purpose for which God has created her, Washington said, “There are no accidents. God chose me to go through it all. But He also gave me the strength and courage to endure and share my story to help others.”

More than anything, Washington reiterated, sharing her slew of experiences essentially infused within her the keen ability to break the dreaded generational curses that include, among other things, single motherhood and teen pregnancy.

SET ASIDE FOR GOD’S USE — When asked in what ways her books align with the purpose for which God has created her, Washington said, “There are no accidents. God chose me to go through it all. But He also gave me the strength and courage to endure and share my story to help others.”

“My daughter is married and (she and her husband) have yet to start a family,” Washington said. “I believe this was because I always practiced age-appropriate transparency with her. I taught her how to keep safe and to tell me if anyone made her feel uncomfortable. We always had a good relationship and she knew she could confide in me.”

A four-time Amazon award-winning bestselling author, Washington has announced that other books are on the horizon much sooner than later.

“I’m thinking about compiling another anthology and another book, but right now, I designed a course for survivors,” Washington said. “It’s called ‘Survivor’s Breakthrough,’ and is a system designed for survivors to find healing, strength and the power to live a life free from the pain of their past.”
