Dr. James E. Combs Jr. doesn’t take lightly the life-altering blessing God recently bestowed upon his life.
For what it’s worth, he’s destined to disclose to the masses all of which God Almighty has done.
“Receiving my Doctorate (degree), my life has changed to a more purposeful meaning that has encouraged me to continue reaching my goals while keeping in mind that God has a plan for me and my pursuits,” Dr. Combs Jr. told Making Headline News during a recent interview.
For Dr. Combs Jr., it was, by all accounts, what he deems a monumental milestone, one he figures to cherish for the rest of this life.

Dr. Combs was amongst a gallery of recipients who not only was awarded an Doctorate Degree from the prestigious Trinity International University of Ambassadors School of Business (TIUA), but he was the beneficiary of The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award.
Dr. Combs Jr.’s was honored during an official ceremony June 3 at the Chateau Elan in Braselton, Georgia.
Generally, The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award is widely considered one of the highest honors presented to individuals who have overcome significant obstacles to achieve impressive accomplishments, thus dedicated their lives to advocating for the most vulnerable among humanity and acted with bravery to drive change in their communities — and across the world — while blazing trails for generations to come.

An honor he received in large part because of his notable community service contributions, Dr. Combs Jr. emphasized, among other things, his latest achievement is testament of the notion that his labor was never in vain.
“As a graduate of TIUA School of Business, (this honor) has encouraged me to continue writing and growing my consultant business,” Dr. Combs Jr., a well-respected Dayton, Ohio-based entrepreneur and philanthropist, told MHN. “I have also encouraged and mentored others who want to publish (books), as well as (become inspired to) mentor and to help establish a consultant network.”
Since acquiring both his Doctorate Degree and Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, Dr. Combs Jr. has attracted a wave of media coverage during which he reflected on his biggest milestones to date.
“I was highly elated at getting an invitation from Dr. Loren Michaels Harris’ international podcast show,” Dr. Combs Jr. said. “It was great to be able to talk about my books with Dr. Harris and have an audience.”
A native of Dayton, Dr. Combs Jr. earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. Consequently, he acquired Master’s Degrees from Antioch University McGregor and Wright State University, respectively.

Interestingly enough, he was selected to attend the City of Dayton Chamber of Commerce Leadership Academy in 2007 after which he was commended for his work as a community-based police officer five years prior.
Then, in 2012. Dr. Combs Jr. was recognized by Omega Psi Phi Fraternity for outstanding service in the community.
Also, Dr. Combs Jr. spent several years in the U.S. Army before embarking upon a 25-plus-year career in law enforcement with the Dayton Police Department.
Then, in 2006, he developed and implemented what is known as the Public Safety Program for aspiring students at David H. Ponitz Career High School and Central State University.
During what he referred to as his “second career,” Dr. Combs Jr. continues to mentor and consult with aspiring individuals in the area of law enforcement.
And, just recently, Dr. Combs authored two books: Developing A Parent Plan and Jimmy O’s Cookbook.
