“Every little girl watching tonight sees that this is a country of possibilities. And to the children of our country, regardless of your gender, our country has sent you a clear message: dream with ambition, lead with conviction, and see yourself in a way that others might not see you, simply because they’ve never seen it before. And we will applaud you every step of the way.” — Kamala Harris, Then-Vice-President Elect of the United States of America
REAPING NATIONAL HONORS
Another season, another massive step towards her destiny.
That, by all accounts, is how Dr. Phyllis D. Combs essentially summed up her latest milestone, one that suitably thrust her on a platform, where she became the beneficiary of national recognition.
The Dayton, Ohio-based philanthropist was recently named a recipient for The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award during a ceremony at the Chateau Elan in Braselton, Georgia.
Generally, The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award is widely considered one of the highest honors presented to individuals who have overcome significant obstacles to achieve impressive accomplishments, thus dedicated their lives to advocating for the most vulnerable among humanity and acted with bravery to drive change in their communities — and across the world — while blazing trails for generations to come.

An honor she received in large part because of her community service contributions, Dr. Combs emphasized, among other things, she doesn’t take lightly the notion that her latest milestone has ceremoniously thrust her into some elite company.
“Receiving the Presidential Lifetime Award was an honor that recognized my lifetime achievements in education, leadership, administration, and authorship,” Dr. Combs told Making Headline News during a recent interview. “The podcast interview allowed me to share the history and motivation of the books.”
When asked how she plans to use her latest milestone to help make a positive difference in the lives of others, Dr. Combs said:
“This recognition has humbled me and motivated my life by strengthening my faith, foundation, and zeal to continue striving to help support others. My increased knowledge has led me to understand a greater need for mentoring and helping others to achieve their goals. I will continue to aid in the development of others to strive for perfection and achieve greatness.”

AND IT CAME TO PASS
