For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. (Romans 8:18/NIV)
AFTER YOU’VE SUFFERED AWHILE
As Porschea Necoal vividly recalls, it initially was supposed to have been a compelling manuscript, of sorts.
But what she had ultimately come to discover is that God had other strategic plans — plans to prosper her and not to harm her, plans to give her hope and a future.
And so it came to pass, the ceremonious release Necoal’s The Lineage of Grief, her highly-anticipated and recently-released anthology that, much to her delight, is as good as advertised.
Powered by Agape Vision Publishing, Necoal’s The Lineage of Grief is accompanied 10 co-authors, each of whom chronicles various life-altering, riveting, spiritually-empowering stories that derive from various perspectives of grief, according to a detailed synopsis of this faith-based writer’s book via Google Books.

“God gave me the vision for the book in February 2023,” Necoal, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said, recalling the memorable developments surrounding her featured written work. “It was originally supposed to be a manuscript for myself. God disrupted my writing process to inform me that this was supposed to be an anthology where the voices of 10 women would be amplified, healed, and set free from compartmentalized grief.”
Mission accomplished for this beloved and well-respected Tampa, Florida-based author, whose anthology is the first book of the series on various forms of grief.
WHEN GOD STEERS
“Grief resides in every living being with a heartbeat and soul,” said a spokesperson for Necoal’s The Lineage of Grief via Google Books. “Grief is a universal language spoken by all regardless of race, creed, or color. It is inevitable to live and not know grief in an intimate way. Perhaps it was God’s design to balance egos and evil tendencies. Perhaps it is a painful reminder that life, death, and circumstances beyond human control must always yield to a power beyond itself. Perhaps, it is accepting that we own nothing truly. However, we get an opportunity to experience people, places, and things. Not one thing belongs to us, even our own lives.”
Added Necoal via https://www.pnecoal.com/:
“Wounds caused by grief can be healed and turned into scars, and those scars will one day cease from reminding you of the pain. Journey with these authors as we navigate the twists and turns and life’s horrific experiences that ironically can turn into stories of triumph and overcoming.”

An anthology that made its official debut September 30, Necoal began spearheading The Lineage of Grief in June and, along with her co-authors’ valiant contributions, needed approximately one month to complete.
For what it’s worth, such a book collaboration has emerged as a massive thing of beauty — with God’s endorsement figuratively stamped all over it.
“The single, most underlying reason for producing this book was because I understood the transformation that would occur within the women that were chosen to write their stories,” Necoal told MHN.
Much to her delight, Necoal has become the beneficiary of a rash of rave reviews since the release of The Lineage of Grief.
“There has been an immense amount of feedback from individuals saying how the transparency and vulnerability of these stories has awakened parts of them that have lied dormant since experiencing grief for themselves,” Necoal, the mastermind behind Porschea Necoal Consulting, said. “Others have stated that reading these stories have reminded them of just how challenging and harsh someone else’s life can be and so they learn not to sweat the small things. For most, however, they have stated that the evidence of survival lies within the pages of this book.”

WRITE THE VISION
When asked what divine message she aspires to send to her reading audience through an anthology that has caused a fervent buzz across various message boards and social media platforms, Necoal said:
“The divine message to the audience of The Lineage of Grief is that grief is just not limited to death. Living and losing are also wombs that give birth to grief. The only end to grief is when we cease from living in the human flesh. There is no escape. Wounds caused by grief can be healed and turned into scars, and those scars will one day cease from reminding you of the pain, but rather to remind you that you survived.”
A native Floridian, Necoal made her authorship debut in July 2022 when she graced the pages of Brown Girl Guidebook: Start with Self Love, an anthology that is comprised of seven co-authors. Consequently, she is a contributing author for Running Tampa, an anthology that debuted in March 2023.
As for the hoopla surrounding The Lineage of Grief, Necoal goes to great lengths to issue what could be appropriately dubbed a pivotal reminder to her readers.
GOD-ORDERED STEPS
“I would like to remind everyone that your testimony is not solely for you and you alone,” she said. “It’s meant to be shared and to amplify your voice as a reminder to the enemy that he couldn’t kill you. Yes, the loss hurt. For some, it was debilitating. It caused you to question everything, but you made it. You went through the fire and there’s no residue of smoke.”
So much for what initially was supposed to have a compelling manuscript, of sorts.
