As for its health and wellness area, Carroll’s venture offers what are known as juice cleanses, many of which contain 100 percent natural fruits and vegetables that are extracted from via cold pressed machine. **HEART FOR PEOPLE —** “It is imperative for me to esteem and inspire others everyday as we pride ourselves in that true beauty does not reveal from the outside, it reflects from within,” Carroll said. “I recognized that true beauty is not just about external appearances but also about nurturing and maintaining overall well-being.”

As Carroll explained, her journey as an esthetician started at the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute in 2022.

“As many in my field, my passion for skin health started from an ongoing struggle to heal my own skin as I suffered from hyperpigmentation (dark spot) and post inflammatory hyperpigmentation,” Carroll explained. “In 2019, to resolve my skin issues, I begun formulating my own at -home masks to help clear and brighten my dark spots. From those moments is when I knew I wanted to pursue my esthetician career and become licensed.

“After graduating esthetician school, I ventured into working at numerous spas, but I knew I desired more for myself,” Carroll continued. “My love for overall skin and health well-being led me to want a building that incorporated both my juice bar business, as well as my aesthetics career. I am now incredibly blessed and happy to announce I found an incredible space that will focus on result-driven treatments and peels, while incorporating custom blends of fresh healing herbs, diet and nutrients, and a healthy lifestyle on the skin as well.”

Prior to establishing Uzuri By Nature, Caroll studied at Philadelphia’s LaSalle University, where she acquired a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing and Finance.
