She considers a field before she buys or accepts it — expanding her business prudently — with her profits, she plants fruitful vines in her vineyard. (Proverbs 31:16 Amplified Bible)
SET ASIDE FOR GOD’S USE
LaChelle Adkins’ entrepreneurial track record is such that she steadfastly exemplifies having a heart for people.
“I work daily to help others find ways to monetize their message with the world,” Adkins, during a recent interview with Making Headline News, said, introducing her featured business endeavor. “I believe that we all have a unique purpose, and we lose sight of that due to comparing ourselves to others.”
To her credit, Adkins’ immeasurable body of work as a flourishing businesswoman is carried out by way of her serving as the mastermind behind America’s Supermom Company, her Stockbridge, Georgia-based venture that is centered largely on her operating as an accomplished TV producer and marketing coach.
A rising business she established some seven years ago — “after my last hospitalization,” she recalls — Adkins doesn’t shy away from the notion that she’s always possessed a knack for educating people from various walks of life, particularly those ranging in ages 25-to-58.

“I was raised as an only child and education success was top priority for my parents,” Adkins, a native of Indianapolis, Indiana, told MHN. “I had a great academic career with honor roll and gifted classes and was groomed for high achievement. I was often the only African-American in my class and learned to be comfortable being asked how do black people feel about various topics. I learned very early to sound informed and politically correct whether you have an opinion or not.”
As Adkins vividly recalls, there were times, in fact, she sensed it was difficult to be surrounded by people “who did not look like me.”
“However, my saving grace was to focus on what we had in common,” Adkins explained. “I struggled later in life because I planned to have a career as a corporate attorney, yet when I had children, I believed I could only do one: be a mom or career.”

Much to her delight, Adkins was destined to savor the best of both worlds as a rising Corporate America-turned-mom.
“I desired to do both,” said Adkins, “but did not think I could be perfect at both. Yes, I said ‘perfect’ because, for me, that was my unrealistic goal that left overwhelmed so many years of my journey. I now realize that perfection is an illusion, and I am overjoyed to just be me with my strengths and weaknesses.”
Suitably deemed “America’s Supermom,” given she has birthed 15 children, Adkins emphasized, among other things, what she likes like most about her business is that she’s customarily afforded the opportunity to see clients’ lives transformed by simply living their truth.
“The change is powerful because they always had power…just some fear around fully expressing it,” Adkins said. “I also love seeing people surprised by how many children I have yet realizing that I am more than a baby factory. It is amazing to have them tell me how wise and insightful I am.”
As for the strategic mission for her featured business endeavor, Adkins said she is committed to helping those who are suffering in silence with depression.
MAKEUP OF SUCCESS
“(There are people who hide) behind so many masks and I want to normalize the conversation of depression,” Adkins said. “I believe that if we make it okay to discuss, we can eliminate it and save lives from suicide.”
Interestingly enough, Adkins is forever grateful to her solid support system that is comprised of people who have inspired her mightily to diligently pursue her lofty goals and ambitions.
“I have always been inspired by my maternal grandmother,” Adkins said. “She had 12 children, and I spent the summers with her as a child. I remember her doing so much for others and she taught me so much about sharing, being independent, and being a lady. I think one thing I saw her struggle with was asking for help. It was hard for her to do that, and many thought she was so strong and didn’t need it. I picked up that same mindset which left me with a 13-year struggle with depression and three hospitalizations.
“I have learned that asking for help is not a weakness but a strength,” Adkins continued. “For years, I was exhausted doing all the things alone with too much pride to ask for help. I now collaborate in everything, and it has led to tremendous growth in my business and personal life.”
GOD-ORDERED STEPS
Continued Adkins:
“Your past should be your strength to remind you what you have overcome. You can choose today to walk out of the darkness. Take baby steps to find people who you resonate with and stay close as you build your strength and confidence. You will always have fear, but use it as fuel and not a roadblock to keep you stuck where you are. Find a mentor, coach, and tribe for the evolution of growth on your journey. I am happy to connect with anyone ready to make a change to design the life they desire.”
