And then God answered: “Write this. Write what you see. Write it out in big block letters so that it can be read on the run. This vision-message is a witness pointing to what’s coming. It aches for the coming — it can hardly wait! And it doesn’t lie. If it seems slow in coming, wait. It’s on its way. It will come right on time. (Habakkuk 2:2-3/MSG)
SHARING IS CARING
While trying to recall the awe-inspiring developments surrounding her quest to become a first-time published author, Alicia Middleton fielded the question as if she expected it.
“It was more than a vision, it was confirmation that I was following my purpose, my passion,” Middleton told Making Headline News this week. “At first, I was starting to think I was not following my passion because every step I was taking towards getting into the healthcare field, I was getting negative feedback or doors closed. However, I kept moving forward.”
Once Middleton had ultimately caught the much-anticipated break she diligently sought, one favorable stride subsequently led to another.
“Our agency locally has been recognized by The Tidewater News Hometown Choice Awards for 2022 and 2023,” Middleton recalls. “Then the Business Better Bureau contacted us as well to be accredited by them because our business was being recognized by the community.

“So when visionary Dr. Iris Wright presented the project to me to share my journey in the home healthcare field, I knew I had to become a part to continue sharing my journey despite the negative start,” Middleton continued. “Watching the visionary’s growth and her journey, I wanted to have power houses in my circle, so it was a no-brainer to write my chapter in this book.”
And so it came to pass, Middleton’s latest memorable milestone, one that has come ceremoniously wrapped up in a book that figures to impact lives for generations to come.
The longtime Virginia homecare provider is one of 13 co-authors who will grace the pages of Home Care Around The Globe Volume I, Dr. Wright’s empowerment anthology that will make its ceremonious debut March 9 amid International Women’s Day.
Generally, Home Care Around The Globe Volume I is endeavored in large part to serve as a movement, of sorts, one designed to educate, empower, collaborate, and innovate together.
To her credit, Middleton penned the designated chapter entitled, Why Versus Passion, for an anthology that is currently in its production’s final stages.

As part of Making Headline News’ advance national media coverage for Bishop T. D. Jakes 2024 International Leadership Summit from Dallas March 21-23, Middleton emphasized, among other things, she felt inspired to join Dr. Wright’s book collaboration, in large part to inform the masses of her divine purpose, particularly through her chosen profession.
“(My story) may help someone else,” Middleton, the owner of We Are All One Home Healthcare in Franklin, Virginia, told MHN. “My purpose and passion are to help people, so this (anthology) fulfilling that. Also, (I was afforded the opportunity) to work with other amazing women business owners that are in the same field as me. We all do not know everything. So why not join forces and network to bounce off information to help the community more?”
MASSIVE THING OF BEAUTY
As Middleton recalls, she began composing her chapter for Home Care Around The Globe Volume I last summer, officially kicking off an authorship journey she had envisioned for some time.
For her valiant efforts, this esteemed homecare provider has become the beneficiary of an assortment favorable reviews.
“The feedback that I have gathered has all been positive and I have gained more strong women in my life that I can network with,” Middleton said. “Our visionary of this project also gained us exposure to different media outlets, so it is getting out there that we can work together to serve our communities while in the same field. My divine message to my audience is to never stop working towards your passion and do not let anyone deter you from your passion, because God has placed us all on this earth to fulfil our own purpose, to live life fully and, regardless of anything, no one can stop you from that.”
When asked what ways her milestone as a neophyte author aligns with the purpose for which God her, Middleton said:
“The book plays a big part of my purpose because it confirms that I have stepped into my passion of helping others (largely because of) this opportunity to even open up to share my journey. When I was working for others’ dreams, I felt like I was limited on how much I could help someone, so I decided a change needed to happen and it had to start with me.”
Much to her delight, it’s safe to assume Middleton is steadily reaping the favorable results she diligently seeks.
Amongst the biggest reasons is that it was more than a vision, all along.
