For what it’s worth, Roshon R. Franklin’s always admired his grandfather’s immeasurable work ethic.

“I was informed that my grandfather had multiple businesses, and that he was a leader in his community,” Franklin recalls. “Growing up, witnessing him leave every morning tirelessly was inspiring to me. His work ethics, his engaged mindset, his balance thinking as a man, a husband, a father, a grandfather, and his consistent traveling daily to govern his own business according to his purpose were a great influence of motivation in my life.”
Indeed, they were for Franklin whom, much to his delight, has emerged as a resourceful businessman in his own right.
A native of Chicago, Franklin is an accomplished professional life insurance agent, one whose strategic mission is centered in large part on impacting the lives of those with whom he customarily crosses paths.

“I believe it has been placed on my heart to help as many people as possible,” Franklin told Making Headline News as part of its 2024 Essence Music Festival advance coverage leading to the “the party with a purpose” event July 5-7 in New Orleans. “There are many ways of discovering opportunities to help people therefore, I want to provide an assist other to have a safe foundation with life insurance that can become necessary in one’s golden years with a specific intent as having a planned program designed exclusively for an individual or family with strategic analysis.”
In a nutshell, Franklin emphasized, the importance of life insurance is such that it can add purpose and security through strategic, effective planning, thus serving a much-needed safety net, of sorts.
“Mark Twain once said, ‘The two most important days in our lives are the day you are born and the day you find out why,’” Franklin said. “The mission for doing this kind of work gives gratitude as I am honored.” Armed with more than 39 years of experience in his chosen profession, Franklin doesn’t shy away from the notion that providing invaluable indispensable service has become an effective way of enlightening people with what he deems hope, security, and an understanding with a specific intent and purpose for servicing the community with life insurance and other financial vehicles.
“Keeping progressions of each day and the potentials of the tomorrows as a servant is rewarding,” Franklin told MHN. “You and I have purpose in this world, which means broken down are quite similar. It is your job to provide food, clothing, shelter, schooling, medicine, and sundry other things for your loved ones. You do this while I lie packed away. I must have faith and trust in you. Out of your earnings will come the cost of my upkeep. At times, I may appear to be somewhat worthless to you, but someday (And Who Knows When), you and I will change places.
“When you are laid to rest, I will come alive and do your job,” Franklin continued. “I will provide the food, the clothing, shelter, schooling, medicine and other things your family will continue to need just as you’re doing now. When your work is done, mine will begin. Through me, your hands will carry on.
Added Franklin:
“Should you live and care for your family without me, I will really do a good job for you. When you reach the golden retirement age, I will come to life and help provide the necessary dollars that will be needed when you can no longer work. Whenever you feel the price you are paying for my upkeep is a burden, remember that I will do more for you and your family than you can ever do for me if you do your part. I guarantee to do mine. Thus, speaketh your policy and commitment. No group too large…no person too small.”
