Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:58 NIV)
ONLY GOD CAN DO IT!
Make those two more notable accolades for Marquette L. Walker.
During a recent interview with Making Headline News, Walker, a well-respected Morrisville, North Carolina faith leader, announced she has become a recipient of The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award and The Inspirational Leadership of The Year Award.
Walker will be officially honored with these awards during the Moral Booster Award Ceremony. Powered by the Dr. John Ughulu Foundation, this assembly will take place December 14 in Atlanta.
Generally, The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award is widely regarded as one of the highest honors presented to individuals who have overcome significant obstacles to achieve impressive accomplishments, thus dedicating their lives to advocating for the most vulnerable among humanity and acted with bravery to drive change in their communities — and across the world — while blazing trails for generations to come.
In essence, The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award is designed in large part to shine the spotlight on honorees of their respective community, particularly for their unwavering dedication to bettering the lives of others, the community, and ultimately the country.
Meanwhile, The Inspirational Leadership of The Year Award is designed to recognize and honor individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities and inspire others through their vision, dedication, and impactful contributions to their communities. This award highlights leaders who not only achieve personal success but also empower those around them, fostering growth and positive change. The event serves to celebrate these outstanding leaders and inspire attendees to cultivate their own leadership skills.

Walker’s latest achievements comes less than months after she acquired receiving an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Mainseed Christian University.
“Over the years, I have been fortunate to engage in a variety of community service activities that have allowed me to give back and support those in need,” Walker told MHN. “I have volunteered and partnered with organizations that serve the homeless, contributed to the women’s shelter in Raleigh, North Carolina, and dedicated my time at the Duke Cancer Center.”
Moreover, Walker has become a fixture for several area 5K walks during which she helped raise funds for cancer research. Also, she has become an advocate for supporting the Ronald McDonald House.
“My team and I also took part in COVID screenings in Durham, North Carolina,” Walker said. “These experiences have been incredibly rewarding and have reinforced my commitment to showing love and support to others.”
Since word spread of latest milestones, Walker has garnered an outpour of public support.
“The public’s reaction to my receipt of The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award has been incredibly uplifting and humbling,” Walker said. “Many have reached out with messages of ‘congratulations’ and support, sharing their own stories of service and community involvement. It has been heartwarming to see messages from my loving family, church, friends, my team and even strangers expressing their pride and encouragement. This recognition has sparked conversations about the importance of volunteerism and community engagement, inspiring others to reflect on how they can contribute positively to their own communities. I am deeply grateful for the overwhelming support and hope this honor motivates more individuals to get involved and make a difference.”
According to Walker, it wasn’t long after she earned her Honorary Doctorate that she became a recipient of two more awards, a development that has added to what has already shaped up to be a banner year for this esteemed international speaker, coach, and author who heads Marquette L. Walker Ministries.

“Being recognized in such a way not only honors my past efforts but also inspires me to continue my journey of service and commitment to ministry and God’s people,” Walker said. “Receiving this honor is not just a personal achievement. It represents the collective work of everyone who has supported me along the way — my mentors, peers, and the communities I strive to serve.
“It is a powerful reminder of the impact that ministry and dedication can have on individuals and society as a whole. I am eager to use this recognition as a platform to advocate for positive change and encourage others to pursue their passions and make meaningful contributions.”
In other developments:
Walker has announced a new partnership with Dr. Acetra D. Russell of A&M FaithFusion Partners.
In conjunction with Marquette L. Walker Ministries, both organizations will host the Power of WE Conference April 11-13.
“This event is set to be extraordinary, featuring an incredible lineup of inspiring speakers,” Walker told MHN.
Also, in February, Walker will be on hand for The International Impact Book Award ceremony, during which she will accept an award “alongside my friends and family,” she announced.
“I’m especially excited to announce the launch of my second book,” said Walker, referring to her forthcoming written work, Stronger Than Yesterday: Finding Your Power After Divorce. “In this book, I share my journey of discovering strength and healing in the aftermath of my divorce.”
