Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:58 NIV)
GRACING A NATIONAL STAGE
To her distinctly unique credit, Dr. Monica D. Reed has become enthusiastic about steadfastly empowering others to become versions of themselves.
“Being God-centered and fostering personal connections has allowed for the recognition of those doing tremendous work across the nation,” Dr. Reed told Making Headline News during a recent interview.
Much to her delight, this esteemed Atlanta philanthropist has been blessed mightily to form life-altering connections with a gallery of prominent dignitaries, a rising development that will unfold when she spearheads what is suitably known as The 2024 Historic Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award.
Powered by Dr. Reed’s Black Family Magazine, this assembly will take place December 28 at The Merion Banquet Hall, located at 1301 US-130 in Cinnaminson, New Jersey.
SALUTING WOMEN WHO SHAPE OUR WORLD
Generally, The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award is widely regarded as one of the highest honors presented to individuals who have overcome significant obstacles to achieve impressive accomplishments, thus dedicating their lives to advocating for the most vulnerable among humanity and acted with bravery to drive change in their communities — and across the world — while blazing trails for generations to come.
In essence, The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award is designed in large part to shine the spotlight on honorees of their respective community, particularly for their unwavering dedication to bettering the lives of others, the community, and ultimately the country.
According to Dr. Reed, organizers for her event anticipated as many as 400 attendees, during which they will pay witness to the “outstanding accomplishments” of the 2024-2025 recipients.
“This graduation ceremony will celebrate their exceptional contributions with the prestigious Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award and the conferment of Honorary Doctorate Degrees,” Dr. Reed told MHN.
Amongst the notable dignitaries who will be honored is Charelle L. Parker, the first African-American mayor of the City of Philadelphia.
“We have invited an esteemed group of prestigious and impactful names to this historic celebration, including Vice-President Kamala Harris, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Ambassador Andrew Young, Dr. Bernice A. King, Dr. Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Dr. Tyler Perry, Ambassador Dr. A’Lelia Bundles (granddaughter of Madam C.J. Walker), Dr. Cindy Trimm, Pastor Steven Furtick, Pastor Mike Jr., Pastor Jeremy Powers, and Dr. Tina D. Lewis in honor of the late John Lewis and as a continuous honor of Mr. Bill Allen of the New Black Market Street in Atlanta, Georgia,” Dr. Reed told MHN.

Since word spread of Dr. Reed’s inaugural event, she has garnered an outpour of public support, a trend that, much to her delight, has subsequently created a fervent buzz surrounding her awards ceremony.
“(I am) deeply honored by the public recognition,” Dr. Reed said. “These individuals are celebrated for their unwavering commitment and impactful contributions as leaders within their industries and communities.
“It is a profound honor to host this prestigious event, celebrating extraordinary achievements and service.”
As Dr. Reed acknowledged, her organization is still accepting prospective recipients for The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award.
“Yes, nominations and letters of recommendation can be submitted by contacting Black Impact Media at [email protected],” she said.
Last year, Dr. Reed was named a recipient for The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, most notably for her valiant community service contributions.
A native of Ewing, New Jersey, Dr. Reed is widely regarded as a solid voice to change the trajectory of adverse childhood experiences and, to her credit, is a prime example of what happens when thought leaders raise awareness, create solution-based environments, and face life with a choice point, the longtime businesswoman told Making Headline News during a June 2023 interview.
Having adopted the motto, When One Woman Heals, One Family Can Begin To Heal, Dr. Reed is responsible for having founded the first black-owned entrepreneur business center in Bucks County, Pennsylvania — north of Philadelphia — to provide the resources needed for startup entrepreneurs.
Moreover, she is the visionary of Black Family Breakthrough, a rising empowerment platform that has become a fixture for addressing challenges within the community which, in turn, hinders people from building strong family foundations.
The founder of Black Family Magazine, Dr. Reed serves as executive director of the Love Mama Inspires Foundation, an organization routinely serves children and young adults who have lost their mothers amid unforeseen circumstances.
“Generally, this organization ensures to continue empowering, inspiring, guiding the children with the love, support, and community they need to carry out their family legacy,” Dr. Reed told MHN.
The face of HER Impact & Success Leadership Academy, Dr. Reed is the first in her family to receive an “outstanding” Honorary Doctorate in Philosophy of Entrepreneurship and Business Administration, coupled with the prestigious United Nations Global Woman of Distinction Award.
This honor is presented by the fully accredited Trinity International University of Ambassadors School of Business honors program.
