Dr. Whitaker joins Washington, D.C. businesswoman Dr. Rhonda Wood and Raleigh, North Carolina philanthropist Dr. Erica Green Perry as recipients for the MHN’s most covenant annual honor.
For Dr. Whitaker, she is the fourth woman since MHN’s December 2016 inception to be named both Woman of The Year and MHN International Women’s Day Woman of The Year, joining Wood, Virginia Beach, Virginia-based certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist Deborah Juniper-Frye, and Mitchellville, Maryland-based businesswoman Dr. Jennifer Bryant to accomplish such feats.

Interestingly enough, Dr. Whitaker is the only individual to twice be named MHN International Women’s Day Woman of The Year, coming away with such honors in 2023 and 2024.
To her credit, Dr. Whitaker garnered high praise amid the highly-anticipated release of Destiny Exposè: The Leading Ladies Volume 1, her second anthology to date, one that has created a national buzz across various message boards and social media platforms.
In addition, she became a fixture during the 25th Anniversary Super Bowl Soulful Celebration last year, a milestone that was spearheaded by fellow Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. member and Black Door Society President, Sharrarne Morton.

When asked to whom she gives credit for what was a banner 2024, Dr. Whitaker said, “God firstly. Sharrarne Morton of Black Door Society opened the door to TV and media, and me continuing to work in my field.”
Just as she has encountered on a number of occasions, Dr. Whitaker said it was her keen perseverance that had greatly enabled her to clear arguably the grandest of hurdles in 2024.
“There were roadblocks that challenged who I was now,” Dr. Whitaker, the CEO of In Full Bloom Health and Life Coaching and Women Ready To Move, told MHN. I’m a girl boss and I live in it in every area of my house.”
Interestingly enough, Dr. Whitaker’s other notable milestones in 2024 included:
- Speaking to delegations in Liberia, Nigeria and beyond
- Speaking at the prestigious Harvard University
- Joining forces with Ms. Corporate America
- Checking in at No. 16 on the Barnes & Noble bestseller list and,
- Appearing on major TV networks on three separate occasions
“This year was a year of collaboration,” Dr. Whitaker said. “There were so many notable partnerships that arose this year. Just incredible opportunities.”
