For LaTonya J. Parsons, it all started with a resounding “Yes.”
“The vision for this book didn’t just happen as a one-time occurrence,” Parson recalls. “It actually came as I began to walk out the call that God had given me. This book is actually a byproduct of the ministry, Birthed Out.
“So the vision for the book happened gradually over the years as I continue to say yes to God and to the call. He started to reveal other aspects of the ministry, and the book just happened to be one of those parts.”

To her credit, Parsons has fielded her share of favorable feedback since the release of her published masterpiece.
“Those who have read the Birth Out book have shared with me how the book has stirred up in them their divine call and purposes,” Parsons told MHN. “God has a way through the book to take us individually on a journey and those that have read and are actively engaged in the book, God has shown them where He wants to take them.
“I’ve been humbled and blessed to hear that even though I may not have been physically in the same space as the readers that God through His Holy Spirit has the activated gifts dreams and talents,” Parsons continued. “I’ve also heard individuals say that it seemed like the book was speaking directly to them. And I am so amazed at how God does that. When we think we’re writing generally, He knows how to personalize it.”
Are additional books on the horizon?
“I have a sneaky suspicion that this is just the first of many,” Parsons said. “I can see Birth Out being a series. Again, it’s not just a single book but worth it Birth Out (could be constructed into) workshop and coaching sessions. God has allowed it to be many things, so I do see other books in the future.”
