The recently-installed President of the historic North Carolina-based Grace Biblical College, Dr. Sloan emphasized, among other things, the primary purpose for the Hometown Honors Awards™️ Where Your Home Honors You is centered in large part on honoring — “and bring honor to” — those in town and those who have moved away.
“(We’re destined to) restore hope in the community,” Dr. Sloan told MHN this week.

According to event organizers, the Hometown Honors Awards™️ Where Your Home Honors You will air it on B-On-U TV Network.
“This award show is being used to honor others not me,” Dr. Sloan, an esteemed Licensed Professional Coach and certified veteran development coach, said.
Much to her delight, Dr. Sloan and Co. have fielded as an assortment of rave reviews since word spread about his forthcoming assembly.
“People are humbly grateful that someone considered them,” Dr. Sloan said.
Amongst the notable dignitaries who will be honored are Judge Keith S. Smith, Mary “Frankie” Barnes Willie, Teresa Pore, Weiner Crumbly, Mr. Kenneth Geathers Sr., and Lela T. Bishop, among others, Dr. Sloan announced. Barber-Scotia College will also be honored.
ADVANCING THE KINGDOM
For what it’s worth, this devout woman of faith doesn’t take lightly an empowerment event that figures to enrich and impact lives for years to come.
“(I am so) grateful God chose me (to spearhead this assembly),” Dr. Sloan a native of Kannapolis, told MHN.
Sloan in 2019 established B-On-U Ministries, a kingdom-based organization that is centered largely on restoring, rebuilding and rejuvenating lives, particularly through prophetic impartation and leadership.
Last Spring, Dr. Sloan was approached with the golden opportunity of succeeding her uncle, Dr. Benny Sloan Sr., as the President of Grace Biblical College.
