These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. (John 16:33/NKJV)
WYNN-WIN SITUATION

For Fredricka Wynn, it could be appropriately summed up as a dreaded season of turbulence and turmoil and constant afflictions, one that lasted somewhere in the neighborhood of eight years.
“In the year 2019, I had just gotten out of a toxic relationship that could have cost me my life almost,” Wynn, a Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based author, told Making Headline News this week, recalling the rash of developments surrounding the production of her first book. “I had lost my oldest sister three years prior due to breast cancer and, in the year 2020, I lost my mother.”
As Wynn recalls, the unprecedented global pandemic had subsequently given way to an assortment of pressing, life-altering issues involving her family.
“My children were virtually in school, and I began to shut down mentally just from trying to process everything,” Wynn, a domestic violence survivor, told MHN as part its national media coverage in commemorating Women’s History Month March 1-31. “God moved through me by writing my book.”

The book to which Wynn is alluding is Discernment, her highly-anticipated written work that made its ceremonious debut in 2022.
A book she began composing in 2021, Wynn’s 146-page Discernment vividly reminds us that everything in life is about balance, according to detailed synopsis of this author’s book via BarnesAndNoble.com.
“Fredricka struggled through times as a child with her mother and father absent,” said a Barnes and Noble spoken for Wynn’s featured book. “As she goes through whatever life has thrown at her to find what she needs, she faces many challenging battles with herself, being a mother, family, and love.
“Her life is challenged through these moments, and she gets through by the order of God’s steps with prayer, faith, and balance. As she discovers her inner strength, she finds herself and gains her power back.”
A native of Milwaukee, Wynn’s rise to emerging an accomplished author comes amid humble beginnings.
“I felt that it was meant for me to tell my story but in a way to share similarities between broken families and single moms who battle with domestic violence,” Wynn told MHN. “After I published my book, Discernment, I began to test my ability to write two other books, which I released in 2023.”
The name of one of those books: Balance With Purpose.
A published gem that is comprised of 62 pages, Wynn’s Balance With Purpose vividly reminds her readers that life is given for a purpose, according to BarnesAndNoble.com.

“What you want your life to represent to find purpose is based on your choices to have balance,” said a Barnes and Noble spoken for Wynn’s sophomore book. “Your life can be revealed through life lessons. Your beliefs are behavior-driven. You can prevaricate from what is telling you the truth, but it will always be you in the end that will determine where you are, where you have been, and where you are going in life.”
And then there are Little Big Brother & Big Little Brother and Little Big Brother & Big Little Brother Goes To School, two riveting, fascinating written works Wynn suitably refers to as a children’s book series.
A book that is comprised of 18 pages, Wynn’s Little Big Brother & Big Little Brother vividly depicts how two brothers have become the best of friends, according to BarnesAndNoble.com.
“They have many different qualities about themselves,” said a Barnes and Noble spokesperson for Wynn’s third book. “They motivate each other through their differences and believe they can do anything they put their minds to.”
BEAUTY FOR ASHES
Accompanied by 28 pages, Wynn’s Little Big Brother & Big Little Brother Goes To School chronicles how two brothers have grown close in age while experiencing their first years in school, according to BarnesAndNoble.com.
“They learn different subjects and how to interact with their peers using their cognitive skills, dramatic play, and social skills,” said a Barnes and Noble spoken for Wynn’s third book. “They enjoy going to school and making learning fun.”
Said Wynn, a rising entrepreneur who owns a publishing company:
“My second book explains more in-depth what helped me through my dark moments,” Wynn explained. “My third book is my first children’s book. This book is my son’s book, and they are the co-authors and characters of their books. The next year (2024), I released a second series of their children’s book.”
By all accounts, Wynn emphasized her gallery of books define “power.”
“There is power in faith and believing you are able, despite who is with you,” Wynn said. “In my darkest moments, I had no choice but to be seated to understand what I needed from myself to find harmony and peace. letting go of what I can’t control and taking control of my life.
“The type of feedback I’ve gotten from my books was more of people being amazed just by how I started,” Wynn continued. “Most wouldn’t think I’ve been through what I’ve been through because I don’t wear the pain on me. My books are part of my purpose.”
SEASON A REBIRTH

As Wynn acknowledged, she senses she has always been destined to become an author.
Mission accomplished for this rising writer of four compelling books — and counting.
“I knew this just from the idea of writing and wanting to write a book but never acted on it,” Wynn told MHN. “It was in me already. I also look at my children and want them to have more than what my parents left me with. My purpose is for my children. I have promoted and done workshops and spoken with people who share similar stories to mine. After four years in the book industry, I have decided to leap out on faith to have my own self-publishing company.”
So much a dreaded season of turbulence and turmoil and constant afflictions, one that has given way to festive season of new beginnings.
