A native of New Orleans who functions as a rising faith leader and “atmosphere shifter,” Ker grasped the vision to write Unstoppable Steps sometime in 2012. Two years later, she began the legwork on a published gem she needed approximately a year to complete.
For a valiant efforts, she has fielded a slew of rave reviews.
“During the first two years of publishing, the feedback was amazing,” Ker told MHN. “There were so many testimonies of breakthrough. Dads were getting more involved in their daughter’s lives. My life has never been about me. Everything I went through or endured was for ministry.”
Interestingly enough, Ker’s authorship debut has given way to other opportunities, most notably the launching of a girls empowerment group called G.L.A.M., an acronym that stands for Growth-Love and-A new-Mind.
Through this organization, Ker has become a fixture for mentoring, teaching, and encouraging young ladies ranging in ages of 13-to-18 become better versions of themselves in all aspects of their lives.
“Life happens,” said Ker, “but the thing to remember is that it’s only 10 percent of what happens to you and 90 percent your response and reaction.”
