Louisiana author LaDonna Jarden fulfilling her God-mandated purpose with 10 books and counting

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18 NIV)

GOD’S LEADING LADY

DESTINY STEPS — During an interview this week with Making Headline News, Louisiana Christian author LaDonna Jarden was extremely complementary to God, particularly how He’s gone about using her for His glory through her immeasurable gifts as an author. Jarden has authored 10 books since 2004.

DALLAS — Ten and counting.

That is the number of books accomplished Christian-based author LaDonna Jarden has written throughout an authorship tenure that spans a little more than a decade and a half.
Her latest written work, “Bruised But Not Broken: Worshipping With A Broken Heart,” is presently in the works and, much to her delight, has already created a favorable buzz for Jarden, a native of Houston.
During an interview this week with Making Headline News, Jarden was extremely complementary to God, particularly how He’s gone about using her for His glory through her immeasurable gifts as an author.
“It (is) a testimony of life issues I was dealing with,” Jarden, a DeRidder, Louisiana-based writer, said of her latest book, a spiritually-equipping project that will be released at a date to be announced. “It was a coping mechanism for me to release the pain I was enduring.”

Jarden’s authorship debut occurred in 2001 during which she discovered her sister was ill. She completed her initial project two years later.

To her credit, it seemed she hasn’t retired the pad and pen since, considering she has written nine additional books, including one in consecutive years between 2014-2016.

Prior to that timeframe, Jarden had written books every two years.

“In this book I’m publishing is for my sisters,” ladies, please stop holding every man accountable for (your) past relationship issues,” said Jarden, explaining the divine message she’s aiming to send to her audience through her newly-assembled book. “If you allow God to heal the hurt, you can overcome this.”

In a nutshell, Jarden emphasized, what it all boils down to seeking and consulting God for a sense of direction, particularly when it comes to putting the past where it belongs: behind you.

“I’m not saying it’s easy, but you will get through it,” Jarden said. “I’m reminded the story of Job. He lost all he had, but he fell to the ground and worshipped. He said, ‘The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away,…blessed be the name of the Lord.’ He worshipped God and remained faithful.”

A book that is a spinoff from a conference Jarden customarily hosts, this devout woman of faith said the feedback through her books has been overwhelmingly favorable.

“I’ve counseled many single women on relationships,” Jarden said. “I’ve gone to marriage retreats, taught women’s conferences, etc.

As Jarden has reiterated time and again to those to whom she counsels, “Everything we face in life has a purpose.”

THROUGH IT ALL…

“My marriage for the first five years was rocky,” Jarden said. “I didn’t consult anyone but God. I didn’t consult family, girlfriends, or others. I spoke with our spiritual father and he came down and counseled us, after which I became a spokesperson for women in marriage. The enemy wants nothing more than to lock believers in that cell of pain and keep us trapped in isolation. But God says, ‘No!’”

Interestingly, she even deemed it essential to offer a great deal of transparency when sharing with others her assortment of life-changing testimonies.

“My marriage for the first five years was rocky,” Jarden said. “I didn’t consult anyone but God. I didn’t consult family, girlfriends, or others. The enemy wants nothing more than to lock believers in that cell of pain and keep us trapped in isolation. But God says, ‘No!’”

An accomplished businesswoman in her own right — she owns a T-shirt line and credible publishing company — Jarden is giddy of the fact that God has strategically set her aside for His use.

A NOTABLE REMINDER…

How else to explain why she’s made some pretty considerable strides as a Christian-based author?

“There are many other books I know God has purposed me to do,” said Jarden, whose itinerary includes an engagement in December during which she will enlighten women knowing their position and purpose in ministry.

An authorship tenure that spans nearly 16 years, Jarden said amongst her strategic objectives to encourage people from various walks of life to development the mindset tell of God’s goodness through their testimonies.

IN HER OWN ZONE — To her credit, it seemed she hasn’t retired the pad and pen since, considering she has written nine additional books, including one in consecutive years between 2014-2016.

“I believe that if we as believers would tell our story, then we can win others to Christ,” Jarden said. “Pursue your purpose and God will use you for His glory. I am now a publisher with my own publishing company.”

To her credit, she’s undoubtedly savoring the fruits of her labor.

“This year, I have published five (authors’ books), and I have personally written 10 books,” Jarden said. “I’ve been writing for 15 years.”

And counting.

Talk about allowing God to use her mightily according to His purpose.

Louisiana Christian author Wendy Magee’s second book geared toward helping others embrace their purpose

I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. (Psalm 139:14 NIV)

EMBRACING PURPOSE

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS — A devout woman of faith who has been married for more than 12 years, New Orleans author Wendy Magee deemed it essential to put her immeasurable authorship gifts on display for a second time, this time with the release of the newly-produced book entitled, “You Are Unique: Embrace It.”

Wendy Magee was all ears.

She heard all of what essentially was nothing more than murmuring and complaining —at least from a spiritual perspective.

Even as she listened attentively to a gallery of women collectively question the purpose for they were created, she sensed it was a civic duty to helped steer them in the right direction with God, her Helper, steering the way.
“I began hearing many women questioning their purpose,” Magee told Making Headline News this week. “As I spoke with these women, I found that many of them have been married for several years and feeling like they have lost themselves and didn’t have a purpose.”

Beverly’s pair of awe-inspiring written works: “Do You Know Who You Are And What You Are Entitled Too?” and “Dysfunction Breeds Distorted Vision.”

No one understands this notion more than Gina Fernandez Beverly whom, to her credit, diligently exercised this trend nearly a decade and a half or so ago.
“Approximately 14 years ago, I began to send out encouraging texts and emails to my friends and family,” Beverly told Making Headline News this week. “The word spread.”
So much so that once her spiritual leader had fielded word of Beverly’s favorable deed that essentially is synonymous to the familiar Biblical passage that is Ephesians 2:3, he subsequently suggested she do more with it, particularly as it pertains to advancing the kingdom.
“One day I sent the text to my Pastor, and after a few months, he encouraged me to write a book on what I was texting and emailing to everyone,” Beverly recalled.

Dallas/Fort Worth entrepreneur Shanna Boger setting herself apart as one of nation’s finest event planners

Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. (Psalm 37:4)

IN A LEAGUE OF HER OWN

A CUT ABOVE THE REST — A Dallas/Fort Worth-area businesswoman in her own right, Shanna Boger, 46, is owner and CEO of the PRP Luxury Group, a progressive and thriving event planning venture she established some five years ago.

DALLAS — For Shanna Boger, she was practically born into it.

“My parents were entrepreneurs,” Boger, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said explaining the memorable developments surrounding her rise as an accomplished entrepreneur. “Both of them had side businesses, plus full-time jobs, so I always knew I would have a business…just didn’t know what type of business.”
It didn’t take her very long to figure that out.
That’s because Boger essentially wound up following in the massive footsteps of her beloved mother, whose entrepreneurship craft was that of a florist and wedding planner when her daughter was a child, growing up Bossier City, Louisiana.

BAYOU BEAUTY — A Fall 1994 graduate of Grambling State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, Boger’s PRP Luxury Group has been operations for five years and counting. The key to her reaping sustained success through an endeavor whose best and brightest days are well ahead it: going above and beyond to ensure that she exemplifies top-notch customer service.

A Dallas/Fort Worth-area businesswoman in her own right, Boger, 46, is owner and CEO of the PRP Luxury Group, a progressive and thriving event planning venture she established some five years ago.

In essence, PRP Luxury Group is widely regarded as a boutique wedding and event company, one that specializes in full-service wedding planning, luxurious floral and event design, not to mention custom stationery and curated gifts.

All things considered, Boger has her mother to thank, in large part because even as a youngster growing up in Louisiana, she was the beneficiary of some brilliant hands-on training, of sorts.

“She did all the weddings in our community and I hated it,” Boger jokingly said of her mother’s immeasurable impact as a local businesswoman. “So I decided to go to college and major in accounting and get a desk job.”

All things considered, Boger has her mother to thank, in large part because even as a youngster, growing up in Louisiana, she was the beneficiary of some hands-on training, of sorts.

As it turned out, that proverbial desk job was essentially short-lived, considering…well, Boger was practically birthed into the ever-so-competitive industry of entrepreneurship.

“I did that (desk job), but I reached a glass ceiling and the entrepreneur bug was a burning in my spirit and I could not shake it,” Boger recalled. “I have always been creative, so I took my creativity and decided to build my own business. And I came back to my roots: weddings and events.”

And the rest, as they say, was history.

Today, unlike never before, Boger is functioning fervently in the divine purpose for which she was created, reinforcing among other things, that when parents train up children in the way they should go, when they mature in age, they will not depart from it.

“My mother, of course,” said Boger, when asked who were amongst those who inspired and pushed her to delve off into entrepreneurship. “(Also) Kae Whitaker of Kae Whiter Media Group, Preston Bailey, Kathy Romero, and Akeshi Akinseye of Kesh Events.”

“I love helping people create a beautiful event that celebrates life,” Boger said. “My clients are very important to me. Bringing my clients’ vision to life is my No. 1 priority.”

Having had the luxury of hosting the bulk of her events in Texas, Boger boasts lofty aspirations of planning and designing events globally.

Given her immeasurable and remarkably compelling gifts as an event planner, such a notable milestone figures to come to fruition — much sooner than later.

A business that accommodates clients ranging mostly in ages of 25 to 44, Boger announced that plans are effectively underway to partner with the newly erected Lakeview Event & Conference Center in nearby Arlington, where she will engage in hosting an Open House event in October.

MOM KNOWS BEST

Today, unlike never before, Boger is functioning fervently in the divine purpose for which she was created, reinforcing among other things, that when parents train up children in the way they should go, when they mature in age, they will not depart from it.

“(I just want to) be an inspiration to people, to live life the fullest,” said Boger, explaining her mission that’s aligns with her customer service goals and objectives. “I want to be an inspiration to people, to show them that God will give you the desires of your heart, as long as you honor Him in everything you do.”

Not to mention obey His Voice, even if it comes through your mom.

Something to which this remarkably gifted Texas entrepreneur can greatly attest.

“I’ve been acting since 2010, but really knew l could do it professionally in 2012,” Dunn-Ivory, during an interview this week with Making Headline News said, referring to her notable role she landed in the film entitled, “The American Justice with Tiny Lister.”
A Dallas/Fort Worth-area businesswoman, Dunn-Ivory, 35, is in the prime of an acting career she hopes will attract more of a global presence much sooner than later.

To her credit, the acting tenure of this Shreveport, Louisiana native is certainly shaping up to be one that figures to turn heads of several of the industry’s big names directors and producers, in large part because, well, her resume undoubtedly speaks for itself.

A professional acting stint that spans a little more than nine years, Dunn-Ivory has gone to great lengths to weather arguably the toughest of obstacles, to clear arguably the grandest of hurdles, all the while steadfastly finding her niche in the process.

As if that isn’t enough to turn heads, this resourceful, resilient actress — who’s armed with a wealth of swagger and beauty — is positioning herself mightily to garner even more nationwide exposure in the coming months.

HOLDING IT DOWN — A graduate of Homer (Louisiana) High School, Dunn-Ivory’s passion for acting stems all the way back to elementary school days. As she vividly recalls, it was her kindergarten teacher who’s responsible for having inspired her to follow her dreams. Fortunately for Dunn-Ivory, she’s done just that, all the while going after all they say she couldn’t have.

Much to her delight, Dunn-Ivory’s itinerary is becoming quite congested, considering she’s scheduled to appear in a variety of plays, including:

  • “Something Else To Talk About” on April 28, during which she will play the character “Cheryl”

  • “Insincere Twins” on June 1, a red carpet premiere during which she will assume the role as the character “T’s Receptionist.

  • “Skin Deep” on June 15, during which she will play “Nurse Paula” and,

  • “Black DIAMOND” in July (on a date to be announced), a red carpet premiere during which she will assume the role as “Fiend.”

TEXAS TWO STEP

AND THE WINNER IS — For her immeasurable contributions to her selected industry, Dunn-Ivory has positioned herself to become the beneficiary of yet another accolade. She is a nominee for Best Supporting Actress in the upcoming Church Stars Awards, which will take September 28. Voting begins in July.

Look at her today, functioning fervently in her distinctly unique element with God, her Helper, steering the way, thus allowing her remarkably brilliant gifts to make room for her.

“I remember it like yesterday, sitting in the back of Mrs. Gearhart’s class, just singing (R & B entertainer) Karen White’s Superwoman like I was at home and she walked to the middle of the class and asked me to step outside,” said Dunn-Ivory, recalling a Kindergarten memory that essentially changed her life. “l thought l was in trouble for interrupting her class.”

But what Dunn-Ivory had ultimately discovered was that it was only a brief, impromptu counsel by her teacher, one that essentially jumpstarted her quest to connecting with the purpose for which she was created.

Interestingly, Dunn-Ivory has shown virtually no signs that she intends to slow down anytime soon, not in the prime of an acting career that seems well on path to giving way to even greater success.

“She walked me to in Ms. Emerson’s class and was like, ‘You have to hear her voice,’” Dunn-Ivory explained. “So l sang for her. Next thing you know, we’re going from classroom to classroom and I was justa singing. In that moment, l realized a star was born and I nurtured my gifts.”

And the rest, as they say, was history.

Interestingly, Dunn-Ivory has shown virtually no signs that she intends to slow down anytime soon, not when she’s in the prime of an acting career that seems well on path to giving way to even greater success.

A former Grambling State University student who relocated in September 2005 to the Dallas/Fort Worth-area, Dunn-Ivory’s work has been seen in Oklahoma, Texas, her native home state, as well as in several establishments outside of the United States.

“The competitiveness (in this industry) has taught me that for every ‘No’ at an audition, the ‘Yes’ is around the corner, and it’s up to me to go get it and show that I deserve it,” Dunn-Ivory said. “I’m also a firm believer that what’s for me, no one can take that away, so I continue to strive daily and go get what’s already mine.”

For Dunn-Ivory, it’s a foregone conclusion that acting and assuming various roles essentially comes natural to her.

As if anyone should really be surprised.

As Dunn-Ivory vividly recalls, it was her kindergarten teacher who’s responsible for having inspired her to follow her dreams. Fortunately for Dunn-Ivory, she’s done just that, all the while going after all they say she couldn’t have.

“The fact that in each character or role I play, I leave the audience with an inspirational impression that could be life changing to them,” Dunn-Ivory said. “I love being a tool to bring people’s visions to life.”

Now with plans of ending a five-year hiatus in the singing studio, Dunn-Ivory emphasized, among other things, she’s just giddy in that she’s been blessed to walk in her purpose.

THIS GIRL IS ON FIRE

SHE AIN’T DONE — Now with plans of ending a five-year hiatus in the singing studio, Dunn-Ivory emphasized, among other things, she’s just giddy in that she’s been blessed to walk in her purpose.

“It’s imperative that I inspire others, because every step I have made, I earned it,” Dunn-Ivory said. “There was a time when that thing called sickle cell anemia had me down for years. The devil intended to take me out. But God. Here l am today, a healthy 35-year-old, inspiring those around me that life ain’t easy. It’s challenging, but also what you make it to be. You have to power to create your path, and if you can vision it, you can achieve it.”

She would know.

Especially since her resume undoubtedly speaks for itself.

Something about which she doesn’t have to boasts or brag to flaunt.

KHIANDRA TURNS 40: Dallas minister Tyrone Woods pays homage to his beloved wife, who turns 40 October 27

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES TYRONE AND KHIANDRA WOODS

Because of the unyielding love he routinely exemplifies for his wife, Tyrone Woods was only trying to bask in the glory of the moment.

As usual, he was nothing short of impressive.

During last weekend’s inaugural State Fair Showdown between college football rivals Texas Southern versus Southern University, Woods — roaming the sideline just before the start of the third quarter — went to great lengths to welcome a host of Southern football players and band members to Dallas’ historic Cotton Bowl.

IN THEIR NECK OF THE WOODS — A native of Alexandria, Louisiana, Khiandra Woods will celebrate her 40th birthday on October 27, a much-anticipated milestone to which her life’s most celebrated individual had been looking forward for quite some time. A longtime educator, Woods is married to Tyrone Woods, an ordained minister who accepted his calling to the ministry 10 years ago.

He had a very good reason why.

“I believe she loves Southern University, because it shaped so much of her life,” Woods, during an interview with Making Headline News, said of his wife, Khiandra Woods, a proud graduate of the Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based predominately black institution.

While Tyrone Woods had spent a great amount of time, paying homage to his wife’s alma mater by taking photos of and interacting with SU players, he’d be the first to admit that his love for Khiandra’s college isn’t merely synonymous to the admiration and honor he has for her.

A native of Alexandria, Louisiana, Khiandra will celebrate her 40th birthday on October 27, a much-anticipated milestone to which her life’s most celebrated individual had been looking forward for quite some time.

“My love for her far exceeds her love for Southern (University),” said Tyrone Woods, a native Willis, Texas. “There is no comparison.”

A Dallas/Fort Worth-area couple who began dating sometime in 2015, Tyrone and Khiandra had eventually changed nuptials in March 2016.

Much to their delight, their close-knit, Christian-based bond has been a thing of beauty with God, their Helper, leading the way.

THE HEART OF THE DELTA — “The way she changed my life and ministry for the better is that she married me,” Tyrone Woods said of the immeasurable impact his wife has had on his life. “Everything that makes me better is wrapped up in her.”

“Southern (University) could only give guidelines for a path in life,” said Tyrone Woods, drawing a correlation between his love for his wife and how extremely vital it is that he supports her college alma mater. “I am on the path of purpose with (her) every day.”

Credit the couple’s devout faith life that’s centered mostly on Biblical principles as arguably amongst the biggest reasons their interdependence and tireless support for each other, by all accounts, have given way to what has become a solid, inseparable union.

“Together, we seek purpose, find purpose, and together through our love for each other,” said Tyrone Woods, an ordained minister who accepted his calling to preach the gospel approximately a decade ago. “And God as our Head, we obtain and fulfill purpose in our lives. She loves Southern University but I’m in love with her.”

Which ironically goes to show that as Khiandra displays loves for her alma mater, chances are, her beloved husband will be right there, cheering on the Jags alongside her.

GOD’S LEADING LADIES — Khiandra Woods poses for a photo with Sandra G. Jackson, the First Lady of West Irving Church of God In Christ, following her wedding ceremony in March 2016.

As evidenced by last weekend’s SWAC showdown that had ultimately ended with SU coming away with a 21-7 win.

Thank God for a favorable outcome involving the Woods’ favorite HBCU.

“The way she changed my life and ministry for the better is that she married me,” Tyrone Woods said of the immeasurable impact his wife has had on his life. “Everything that makes me better is wrapped up in her.”

Some pretty remarkably amazing comments by this preacher-turned-SU fan whom, given his public honor to his wife, should be given a free pass on purchasing a birthday card. Then again…

SOUTHERN FOR THE WIN — During last weekend’s inaugural State Fair Showdown between college football rivals Texas Southern versus Southern University, Woods — roaming the sideline just before the start of the third quarter — went to great lengths to welcome a host of Southern football players and band members to Dallas’ the historic Cotton Bowl.

“Happy birthday sweetheart,” Tyrone Woods said with such authority as his wife’s 40th birthday looms. “God blessed me with you. It is my desire that every year I’m blessed to be with you, I get better so that I can make your life better. I love you!”

Once again, he was nothing short of impressive.

What Robinson had eventually discovered, meanwhile, was that God wasn’t merely commanding that she tell all of her personal business.

Never mind that during extended period of time, she still managed to harbor a spirit of hardheadedness.

IF GOD SAID IT, THAT SETTLES IT — The very moment Robinson had effectively elected to follow God’s instructions, that essentially jump-started what has undoubtedly transformed into a much-anticipated harvest season.

“I still said, ‘Oh no, I won’t do it,’” Robinson said. “It took me two years to finally obey God’s voice. God said, ‘Didn’t I tell you everything will be okay and to have the book out by 201(7)?’ God told me to take the 7 out of 17 and that meant completion and 201(8) will be new beginning.”

And the rest, as they say, was history.

Since the release of her new book, Robinson has become the beneficiary of as assortment of rave reviews.

OH TASTE AND SEE — To her credit, coupled with the divine calling on her life, Robinson has appropriately discovered her purpose amid arguably the most tumultuous season of her life.

Thank God she was determined to possess a breakthrough even when reaping a breakthrough seemed very much farfetched.

“I wanted to let go, but God said, ‘No, I got you,’” Robinson recalled. “God said, ‘I will bless you and your way will be smooth.’ God let me know that He will comfort me and give me the strength to carry out this task so (my husband and I) can be a blessing to help other marriages and relationships heal.

“God gave me the title alone with the chapters that will fit my story and help heal hearts.”

Yep. That’s just like God, always providing for His people a way of escape.

Dallas/Fort Worth author Ann Anderson witnesses God’s mighty plan unfold through her empowering new book

BISHOP T. D. JAKES 2018 WOMAN THOU ART LOOSED ADVANCE MEDIA COVERAGE

For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the LORD. (Isaiah 55:8 KJV)

DALLAS — As it relates to the above Biblical passage, no one can greatly attest to this thought-provoking notion like Ann Anderson.

Consider, for instance, the memorable, awe-inspiring memory that vividly unfolded, during which Anderson was assembling — both in the natural and spirit — the detailed outline for her newly-produced book entitled, “Butterfly Uprising: Evolution Of Alexander Scott.”

As Anderson explained, whereas God had strategically introduced to her a strategic vision to compose her book some two years ago, she had no lofty concept that her Creator would ultimately take her on an unlikely detour, of sorts.

GOD’S GPS SYSTEM — As Dallas/Fort Worth author Ann Anderson explained, whereas God had strategically introduced her to her vision to compose her book entitled,
“Butterfly Uprising: Evolution Of Alexander Scott,” some two years ago, she had no lofty concept that her Creator would ultimately take her on an unlikely detour, of sorts.

“I’ve known that I would write a book for over thirty years, and God even gave me ‘Butterfly,’” Anderson told Making Headline News this week as part of the publication’s advance media coverage of Bishop T. D. Jakes 2018 Woman Thou Art Loosed that will take place here from October 18-20. “But what I did not always know was that it was going to be about me. It was not until about two years ago, just before I sat down to write, that it dawned on me that it would be my life story.”

And the rest, as they say, was history.

And just like that, Anderson’s “Butterfly Uprising: Evolution Of Alexander Scott” had eventually become a personal biography, of sorts, one that is steadfastly impacting lives mightily, most notably throughout the Body of Christ, not to mention a book she’s yet believing God will bless her to escalate into a feature film or perhaps a movie (“I have already written the screenplay,” Anderson said).

EDITOR’S NOTE: Making Headline News, which salutes author and The Potter’s House member Ann Anderson, will be one of several Dallas/Fort Worth-based media outlines, covering Bishop T. D. Jakes’ Woman Thou Art Loosed October 18-20.

“To help empower other women and young girls to find their own voices and to speak their own truth,” said Anderson, a native of
Houston (but was raised in Shreveport, Louisiana) said, when asked what is the single, most underlying reason she chose to produce ‘Butterfly Uprising: Evolution Of Alexander Scott.’ “To break their silence and stop living in shame and condemnation after experiencing or going through any type of abuse.”

For Anderson, who resides in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, she certainly knows what it’s like to navigate and persevere through arguably the toughest of life’s hardships or, as mentioned in a detailed synopsis of her book at https://www.kobo.com/ca/en/ebook/butterfly-uprising, a life that is mired by what she refers to as “multiple dramas.”

By and large, Anderson’s “Butterfly Uprising: Evolution Of Alexander Scott” depicts the life of an 11-year-old girl and her incestuous stepfather, not to mention what the writers dubs a two star-crossed lovers, a strung-out drug addict, a struggling single parent, an inspiring ballet dancer, a single young woman, not to mention a loving middle-aged married couple.

BUT GOD — For Anderson, who resides in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, she certainly knows what it’s like to navigate and persevere through arguably the toughest of life’s hardships or, as mentioned in a detailed synopsis of her book at https://www.kobo.com/ca/en/ebook/butterfly-uprising, a life that is mired by what she refers to as “multiple dramas.”

Interestingly, such a sequence is all embodied in one woman, Anderson acknowledges, thus revealing the evolution of Alexander Scott.

And then there is the divine message that this fine and gifted writer shares when offering a thorough breakdown of her book.

“Perseverance, resilience and overcoming,” Anderson says with such authority. “A butterfly represents change and is often seen as a foreshadow of positive life changes and a master of how best to embrace them. As a caterpillar transform itself into a butterfly, the process is quite painful for it…it represents that even when a change can be very painful, you come out stronger and more beautiful than ever before.”

To Anderson’s credit, coupled with the divine calling on her life, she has, by all accounts, emerged as the beautiful and dynamic godly woman for which she is widely known.

GOOD VIBES — The feedback since the release of her book has been mostly favorable as expected, said Anderson, whose newly-produced written document has generated an array of positive reviews, most notably on social media platforms.

Talk about basking in the glory of a proverbial “But God” moment.

“Over the years, I realized that I did not look like what I had been through and that the only way I was going to be able to help anyone is that I would have to expose my own sorted truths,” Anderson explained. “I knew that I could no longer be silent about my traumatic and devious past. At that moment, I was convinced that when I wrote this book that God would bless me to use it to impact women and young girls’ lives, to help them to transform from their own traumatic experiences and become the best version of themselves. And so this was my main motivation for writing this book.”

FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE — To Anderson’s credit, coupled with the divine calling on her life, she has, by all accounts, emerged as the beautiful and dynamic godly woman for which she is widely known.

The feedback since the release of her book has been mostly favorable as expected, said Anderson, whose newly-produced written document has generated an array of positive reviews, most notably on social media platforms.

Not to be outdone, additional books are presently in the works, Anderson said.

“I am presently writing two more collaboration books with other authors and one of them is called, ‘Hearing God’s Voice: Above The Chaos,’ which will be published November 15, 2018, and is up for Christian Literature awards and also featured in Tribute Magazine and RHG Magazine in California,” Anderson said. “My article is called, ‘Even A Twenty Year Drug Addiction Is Not Final.’ The fourth book collaboration that I am presently writing is called, ‘I Matter,’ which will be published on January 30, 2019. My article is called, ‘Rescuing Yourself From Toxic Relationships.’ I will also be starting my new book soon called, ‘Beauty From Ashes.’”

PURCHASE ANN ANDERSON’S BOOK HERE: https://www.amazon.com/Butterfly-Uprising-Ann-Anderson/dp/1635683041

A MUST READ — By and large, Anderson’s “Butterfly Uprising: Evolution Of Alexander Scott” depicts the life of an 11-year-old girl and her incestuous stepfather, not to mention what the writers dubs a two star-crossed lovers, a strung-out drug addict, a struggling single parent, an inspiring ballet dancer, a single young woman, not to mention a loving middle-aged married couple.

Talk about basking in the glory of not just her element and, most importantly, in the divine purpose for which God created her.

Especially as a Christian-based author.

“Another one of the other many things that I love about God is that He does not waste anything that we go through. As I look back over my life and reflect on all of the things that I have learned from what I have experienced in life, I am just amazed about how many different facets of life that I have knowledge of. And so I am able to impart wisdom and help a lot of people in a lot of different areas. I think that is incredible.” — Author Ann Anderson

“I love serving people and helping them to be better and reach their goals,” Anderson continued. “As well as helping them to be healthy more productive human beings. People are always complimenting me on my inner and outer beauty, and the love and compassion that I have for people in general. And I always share with them that they are witnessing the beauty that God gave me for all of my ashes.”

Shreveport’s Myoshi Thomas conquers prison life, discovers her godly purpose through her new book

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES MYOSHI THOMAS

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Myoshi Thomas is a little less than two weeks away from the much-anticipated release of her very first book.

Judging by the continuous buzz and hoopla that have surfaced surrounding her remarkably compelling project, it would be hard-pressed to believe that Thomas’ awe-inspiring book, “Against All Odds: From The Jail Cell To Leather Chairs, My Story God’s Glory,” has yet to find its rightful place on the market.

“To be honest, it was spoken over my life many years ago and it took me about seven years to just do it,” Thomas, a native of Shreveport, Louisiana, told Making Headline News during a weekend interview. “Seven years to just step out on faith and just trust God. The number seven represent completion.”

MORE ON AUTHOR MYOSHI THOMAS: http://www.myoshirobinsonthomas.com/

HERE’S THE 411 — Judging by the continuous buzz and hoopla that have surfaced surrounding her remarkably compelling project, it would be hard-pressed to believe that author Myoshi Thomas’ awe-inspiring book, “Against All Odds: From The Jail Cell To Leather Chairs, My Story God’s Glory,” has yet to find its rightful place on the market.

Much to Thomas’ delight, she didn’t just complete an informative and emotionally inspiring book. Rather, she produced it in impressive fashion.

A book that will officially hit the market October 20 during a launch that will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. CST at Broadmoore Branch Library in Shreveport, Thomas’ “Against All Odds: From The Jail Cell To Leather Chairs, My Story God’s Glory” is centered mostly on what Thomas describes as the importance of one’s destiny amid hardships or, in a nutshell, the importance of getting the most out of life — thus living on the larger side of God — after having served time in prison.

In the coming weeks, Thomas will kick off her six-month national book tour that will begin with book signings in Shreveport and will include a visit to New York City October 26-27. Buyers can request presale orders, she said.

A MUST BUY — A book that will officially hit the market October 20 during a launch that will take place from 11 a.m.

“The divine message that I am sending to the audience is that sometimes, we have to take a bold step and create our own destiny. I want others to know that there is life after prison. I decided to do what I call my dosage of C’s. I decided to Challenge myself to Change and be Consistent.” — Author Myoshi Thomas

What it all boils down to, according to this devout woman of faith, is devising ways in the natural and spirit to reconnect with the purpose for which God created us.

“I want (my readers) to know that if they won’t give you a chance make them notice you, then you create your own lane and succeed,” Thomas said. “I want them to know that if you believe it, you will achieve it.”

But in order to achieve it, Thomas acknowledged, we must become greatly committed to keeping Christ the Focal Point of our lives, especially after God has provided for us a way of escape.

“The main thing is keeping the Main Thing — Jesus,” Thomas said.  “To just do it and, if it is in alignment with what God has for you, get ready, get ready, because God will bring it to pass. (This book will teach us how to) change our mindset and go after what others say we can’t or won’t have. If I would have listened to what they were saying to and about me, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”

For Thomas, arguably her grandest battle and obstacle when she was released from prison was herself. In other words, she had admittedly found it difficult to come to grips with the fact that she — of all people — had once settled for room and board within the walls of a jail cell.

But God…

“I didn’t know how my story impacted others until I started sharing my story,” said Thomas, speaking as if to imply that confidence and self-esteem are at all-time highs. “For a long time, I used to be ashamed of myself and the fact that I spent time in prison until one of my coaches, a mentor and midwife, Kim Clayton, started inviting me to speak at her events.”

START SPREADING THE NEWS — In the coming weeks, Thomas will kick off her six-month national book tour that will begin with book signings in Shreveport and will include a visit to New York City October 26-27.

They were, as Thomas recalled, life-enhancing, empowerment events that essentially provided her with the ideal platform and scenery to open up about her past checkered life.

But God…

“From there, others started asking me to come share my story, and it was amazing to me how they were saying my purpose is to be inspiring to others and to encourage them to get out of their own way,” Thomas said. (You’ve got to) trust the process and allow God to use you. I never imagined that my life would be life-saving for others…that my story of when all odds were against me, I was the underdog.”

FROM PRISON TO THE PALACE — For Thomas, arguably her grandest battle and obstacle when she was released from prison was herself. In other words, she had admittedly found it difficult coming to grips with the fact that she — of all people — had once settled for room and board within the walls of a jail cell.

To Thomas’ credit, because she was committed to embracing a godly life after life in prison, she’s appreciative of the notion that unlike never before, God is steadfastly using her for His glory.

Because, after all, we serve a God Who finds great pleasure in exalting and elevating underdogs.

“I am that light and hope for ex-felons who think they can’t get a college degree, own successful business, or always look down upon because of past mistakes,” Thomas said. “The reason I wrote this book is to encourage, equip, and empower females, to let them know that our past does not define us, to use the bricks that are thrown at us to build our pathway…to know that no matter how many ‘No’s’ comes our way, a ‘Yes’ is in the making.”

Yes! Who wouldn’t serve a God like that!
