DALLAS — The time is fastly approaching for the mighty men of valor to be represented.

“Come join us for a powerful gathering of men at the My Brothers Keeper-Men Hurt Too Men’s Conference,” Seaton told Making Headline News during a recent interview as part of its advance national coverage for “the party with a purpose” event July 3-7 in New Orleans. “This event is all about providing a safe space for men to open up about their struggles and find support from one another.”
Moreover, Seaton emphasized, among other things, that whether oppressed men are dealing with mental health issues, relationship challenges, or “simply need some (spiritual) guidance,” this conference is them.
“Connect with other men, share your stories, and learn how to heal and grow together,” Seaton said. “Don’t miss out on this opportunity to be a part of a community that understands and cares.”
Seaton’s My Brothers Keeper-Men Hurt Too Men’s Conference comes approximately two months after she hosted her women’s Hiding Behind The Lipstick 3 Conference in Dallas.
Just like that empowerment assembly, this event figures to be just as intriguing and will attract a number of power-packed speakers.
Dr. Marvin Cotton will be the keynote speaker during this one-day conference. Also, faith leaders Joseph B. Roberts and Hilton C. Young will serve as speakers during an assembly that will include vendor opportunities, organizers for the conference told MHN.
Besides the presenters, this conference will include a variety of empowerment workshops and group discussions that will address the following topics:
- Emotional Healing — Understanding and overcoming barriers to emotional expression.
- Mental Wellness — Coping mechanisms for anxiety, depression, and stress management and,
- Empowerment — Encouraging men to take charge of their mental health and find purpose in their lives.
“This conference is designed to address the mental and emotional health challenges that men face, providing a safe space for healing, support, and empowerment,” Seaton said. “While mental health struggles affect everyone, men often face a stigma that discourages them from seeking help. Many suffer in silence, lacking the emotional support and resources needed to navigate their challenges. This conference aims to break the silence and provide men with critical mental health resources, equipping them with tools for healing, self-awareness, and personal growth.”
Continued Seaton:
“Men’s mental health is a critical issue that deserves urgent attention. Research shows that men are significantly less likely to seek mental health care, yet they experience higher suicide rates than women.”
