SEASON OF A REBIRTH

Are you 45 years of age or older and aspire to become a better version of yourself?
Longtime empowerment extraordinaire Dr. Alethia Tucker has the essential tools and mechanics to help middle-aged women to achieve and savor a carefree life — with God, their Helper, steering the way.
An accomplished Washington, D.C.-based speaker, author, publisher, and coach, Dr. Tucker is a self-proclaimed Reinvention Specialist and the mastermind behind Jolease Enterprises, one who is committed to helping women 45-and-older move from a “life of mediocrity to one where they can truly thrive.”
“I guide women on a journey of self-discovery and transformation by first helping them understand where they are, where they want to be, and what’s holding them back,” Dr. Tucker, 61, told Making Headline News during a recent interview. “Together, we uncover the obstacles blocking their progress and address them directly, creating a solid foundation for meaningful and lasting change.”

By focusing on such barriers, Dr. Tucker acknowledged, she’s customarily afforded the golden opportunity to help women make the necessary shifts in their mindset and actions to step into their full potential.
“My mission is to empower women not just to survive, but to thrive—living lives of purpose and authenticity,” Dr. Tucker said. “For many, this journey includes recognizing they have a voice, learning to find it, and understanding its immense value. I support them in this realization and provide platforms for their voices to be heard — whether through writing books, participating in conferences, or speaking opportunities. Through these avenues, I empower women to share their stories, inspire others, and thrive in every aspect of their lives.”

Interestingly enough, Dr. Tucker emphasized, among other things, she’s remains dedicated to doing things to celebrate and empower women, particularly after she recently became the President of Ms. Corporate America Maryland.
This organization, she said, focuses largely on elevating and celebrating women in Corporate America, government, and leadership positions within the community.
Generally, Dr. Tucker said her competitive drive for functioning as a Reinvention Specialist is centered in large part on her fervent quest to help women over 45 rediscover their worth, thus redefine their futures.
“My journey to entrepreneurship was both a personal revolution and a response to a broader societal need,” Dr. Tucker told MHN. “Witnessing many women walking through life fulfilling duties with a sense of duty rather than delight, I saw a reflection of my own story, a narrative where ‘unique’ was synonymous with ‘misfit’ and ‘one-of-a-kind’ felt like a curse rather than a blessing.”
As Dr. Tucker vividly recalls, her life’s defining moment emerged a little less than a decade ago.
“My awakening came at post-50, a defining moment catalyzed by the penning of my book, 50 Things That I’ve Learned On My Way to 50,” Dr. Tucker explained. “This project was not just a milestone. It became the cornerstone of a profound transformational shift. I realized that there were areas of growth for me and that there was a need to help others to grow in the same way. I knew that there were resources that fulfilled many facets of this need; however, I didn’t feel that there was enough available to approach this growth holistically. This is where my competitive drive kicked in to provide what was needed and to bring an approach that provided what other resources lacked.”
A native of Charleston, South Carolina, Dr. Tucker holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from Georgetown University. Consequently, she acquired an MGA in Human Resources from the University of Maryland University College and a Doctor of Philosophy from Trinity International University of Ambassadors (TIUA).
DESTINY STEPS

When asked what she likes the most about her chosen line of work, Dr. Tucker said:
“What I like most is time after time seeing the light in my clients brought about by igniting confidence, transforming mindsets, and leading them through a purpose discovery journey. We work on unlocking passions, redefining career paths, and charting courses towards deeply fulfilling lives. I like that my approach creates community experiences, providing networking opportunities and leveraging the unique yet shared wisdom that bonds those that I work with together.”
To her credit, Dr. Tucker continues to make immeasurable strides as a progressive, thriving entrepreneur, given her brand is starting to appeal more to a global audience.
“I believe that it’s my obligation to celebrate and inspire others to reinforce the value that resides in everyone. “I’ve been blessed to travel to travel throughout the East Coast and numerous times across country to the West Coast, Texas, Detroit, and Louisianna,” Dr. Tucker said. “I’ve also traveled abroad to areas that include Antigua and London. “The focus of my platform to be the catalyst that helps the women I support to transition from survival to vitality.”
