While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of Simon the Leper, a woman came to him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table. When the disciples saw this, they were indignant. “Why this waste?” they asked. “This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor.” Aware of this, Jesus said to them, “Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to Me. The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have Me. When she poured this perfume on My body, she did it to prepare Me for burial. Truly I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.” (Matthew 26: 6-13/NIV)
BEAUTY FOR ASHES

As if December isn’t starting off to be a memorable month for Fe Davis, the forthcoming start to 2026 figures to be just as incredible.
Amid an announcement via Facebook on Monday, Davis, a rising Maryland author, learned she had been named December Author of The Month, per Listen Linda Magazine.
Consequently, Atlanta-based Pa-Pro-Vi Publishing Founder Dr. LaQuita Parks on Tuesday announced that Davis’ highly-anticipated first solo-authored book will officially debut in January.
The title: Alabaster Heart: Writings From A Full Heart – Experiencing God’s Love, Purpose, Grace, and Restoration, an intriguingly captivating read that entered its production phase amid arguably this author’s darkest hour of her life.
Davis’ Alabaster Heart is currently in the presale order phase and can be purchased by reaching her via fedavispublishing@gmail.com or fedavispublishing@gmail.com.
SALUTING WOMEN WHO SHAPE OUR WORLD

“God gave me the vision to write this book during my separation,” Davis told Making Headline News this week. “I was reminded of the story of Mary and the alabaster box, and I wondered if anyone else has a full heart that feels the need to pour out. Alabaster Heart finally took shape about two years ago.”
And what a remarkably compelling gem it figures to become once this book makes its ceremonious release in the coming weeks.
“Alabaster Heart doesn’t chase applause or performance. It leans into the cracks — the fractures beneath the surface, the suppressed grief, the questions we whisper to God when nobody is listening. Its pages are shaped like confession and crafted like prophecy,” according to detailed synopsis of Davis’ featured book via https://medium.com/@jacquilinecox/listen-linda-author-of-the-month-b1e7466868dd. “These aren’t poems that try to solve your life; they sit with it. Felicia understands something most people don’t talk about openly: brokenness isn’t always dramatic. Sometimes it’s subtle, stretched across years, handed down like inheritance, dressed up as, ‘I’m fine.’”

For Davis, she commenced composing Alabaster Heart on February 15, 2023, a book she acknowledged was greatly inspired by her poem entitled, Heavy.
“I finished my first set of poems in October 2025,” said Davis, explaining the memorable developments surrounding her forthcoming new book. “(I’m destined) to show that God is alive and works in mysterious ways and to use my poems to encourage and bless others.”
Interestingly enough, 2025 has been a banner year, of sorts, for Davis whom, much to her delight, witnessed her authorship debut come full circle when she graced the pages of Rising Above Narcissistic Abuse Vol 3: From Fearful To Fearless, an anthology that is hosted by Visionary Author, Ina Johnson Myers.
Johnson Myers’ Rising Above Narcissistic Abuse Vol 3 is comprised of 12 co-authors.
When asked what divine message she aspires to send to her readers through her new book, Davis said:
“You can appear confident, secure, or together on the outside, but God sees your heart. No one has to navigate life alone. Many of us have been trying to do everything ourselves for so long that we become spiritually fatigued.”

PRESALE ORDER FE’S BOOK

For what it’s worth, Davis relishes the favorable feedback she has garnered for a book that is weeks away from its official release.
“I’ve learned that many people are simply moving through life, silently suffering,” Davis told MHN. “Their outward appearance may not reveal what’s going on inside. Without empathy, prophetic insight, or kindness, you might never know until a pivotal moment occurs.
“I worked in healthcare for 9.5 years until I asked God to reawaken my gifts,” Davis continued. “Writing is one of those gifts. I’ve always been creative, but I hid behind scrubs or a computer. Working on this book has been a relief because my poetry and reflections, which were tucked away in journals, finally have a voice.”
That, after all, precisely sums up why 2026 figures to be just as incredible.
