But the God of all grace, Who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. (1 Peter 5:10 KJV)
PURPOSED FOR PAIN
DALLAS — Lorty, Lorty, Juanisha Neal-Finley’s about to turn 40.
And, given her spirited reaction, during which Neal-Finley took to her Facebook timeline late Tuesday night, it’s safe to assume this native Mid-Southerner is just as giddy to vacate her 30s and cross over into her 40s.
Said Neal-Finley in a post to her galley of social media followers:
I can’t wait!
I’ll be hitting them 40’s!
You don’t want to miss it!
I hope to see all my Family and Friends!
So much more to come!

Indeed it is for Neal-Finley, this Nashville, Arkansas-based author who not only will commemorating 40 years of life on August 23, but she will be raising the curtain on yet another milestone, one that will ceremoniously come wrapped up in Book No. 2.
Her latest written work: “Overcoming The Struggles Of My Hurt: Based On Life Experiences,” an emotionally-driven, spiritually-empowering project that comes a little more than two years after the release of her Neal-Finley’s initial book entitled, “Revealing The Secrets Of My Hurt” (released in June 2017).
A book signing for Neal-Finley’s last book is scheduled to take place on August 24 (from 5 p.m.-until) at Nashville, Arkansas’ Nashville Legion Hut, located at 3204 Gallatin Pike.
A book that is currently available for purpose via presale orders, Neal-Finley acknowledged her newly-assembled work is a spinoff from her first book, a 116-page project that is widely regarded as a tear-jerking, nail-biting, sitting-on-the-edge of one’s seat kind of life story that depicts the tumultuous encounters of a young girl, who was victimized and tormented time again by an abusive family.
“When God gave me the vision to write my first book, ‘Revealing the Secrets Of My Hurt,’ I knew that it would be a continuous of many more books to follow that one,” Neal-Finley told Making Headline News this week. “I realized that writing books and poetry was a gift that was inside me.”
For Neal-Finley, her tenure as an accomplished author has been nothing short of remarkable, given she’s also responsible for having composed “Recognizing Your Own True Hurt Workbook/Journal.”
An “Overcoming The Struggles Of My Hurt: Based On Life Experiences” book she needed a little more than a year to complete, Neal-Finley said she assembled the book as a strategic, encouraging way to help enable people to weather arguably life’s toughest of obstacles.
SAVE THE DATE
“The reason I wrote this book is because I know there are so many people that go through so much in their relationships or marriages…so much to where it tears them up to the core of them,” Neal-Finley explained. “From physical, to mental, verbal, financial and emotional abuse. Some don’t know how to pray their way out of it or how to overcome it. In this story you will see how Jonathan and Jennifer went through everything you could think of.”
Even for someone who’s on the brink of turning the big 4-0, Neal-Finley emphasized, among other things, that after you’ve suffered awhile, we serve a God Who will establish and settle you — if only you cling to unwavering faith, as the unknown writer of Hebrews encourages us in Hebrews 10:23.

“No matter what you have went through in life, you can overcome the struggles of your hurt,” Neal-Finley said without hesitation. “You are not alone. You are not the only one who has went through your life’s struggles. You don’t have to be one that gives up in life and throw the towel in.
“Many have turned to so much stuff and haven’t found their way out, but with God, you can overcome anything…that bad relationship you have had, you can overcome.”
And, in the aftermath of overcoming these tumultuous hurdles, Neal-Finley’s latest book serves as pivotal reminder that we all should become spiritually inspired to “get back in it and fight to win.”
“Also, (I’d like to say to) married couples know that you can overcome what you have went through in your marriage,” said Neal-Finley, whose been married for more than two decades. “I watched my grandmother stay in the fight of her marriage for over 40 years, being a strong woman of faith.”
As expected, the feedback since word spread of Neal-Finley’s new book has been overwhelmingly favorable.
Not to mentioning spiritually convicting.
“(Some people’s) response was that they were found guilty of going through so much of the life struggles in the book, realizing they had buried it,” Neal-Finley said. “But because of the book, it opened up a light to them.”
Having announced that there are at least two more books forthcoming, Neal-Finley doesn’t shy away from the notion that being a Christian-based author aligns with the purpose for which she was created.
“I know that everything that I have went through in life wasn’t to kill me, but to turn me into the woman I am today…an overcomer of my struggles of life,” Neal-Finley said. “To realize that I was created for purpose and that beauties (rest) within me, I realized I was created to teach others or encourage others that since I have went through similar life struggles that they can make it…to teach them about how to get to the root of their hurt and be made whole in God.”
Regardless of how old they are.
