A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!(Psalm 133:1 KJV)
GOD’S GAME CHANGER
It doesn’t take much to get Katrina Landry to strike up a spirited conversation about her husband, Andrew Landry.
A couple who are closing in on seven years of marriage on January 19, amongst the things about which Katrina finds intriguing when it comes her beloved companion is how he steadfastly goes and above and beyond to exemplify having a heart for people.
“The sky is the limit because, he’s got a helper’s heart,” Katrina said of husband’s tireless contributions to his community and the Body of Christ. “He continues to find ways to help others financially and mentally, and offer support day in and day out. His heart holds the sky’s limits, because it is so open.”
It is, by all accounts, because of Andrew’s servant’s heart, coupled with his keen compassion for people from various walks of life that have greatly enabled him to thrive in his strategic ministry as the founder and chief executive officer of the Where Men Hurt organization.
Much to delight, Andrew’s valiant efforts and contributions through his ministry are amongst the reasons he has been named Making Headline News Man of The Year for 2019, edging out three other nominees across the country who were considered for this honor by the publication’s editorial staff.

For Andrew, his latest achievement, his wife emphasized, is a true testament of his kingdom-based work ethic.
Landry’s Where Men Hurt ministry has become a fixture in the Humble, Texas community, mostly notably because of its periodic meetings at Master Barbers Headquarters, located 1502 East First Street, during which men assemble to discuss a variety of pertinent subjects and real life issues.
Landry, in fact, was responsible for hosting his inaugural Where Men Hurt Conference, a one-day, spiritual empowerment assembly was centered largely on equipping the total man to become all that God has predestined him to be.
A power-packed, informative men’s conference that is powered by Mr. Landry Enterprises, the Where Men Hurt event was highlighted by all-star lineup of a half dozen speakers. The conference also offered panel discussions and included food trucks and vendor booths.
“Exceptionally amazing,” Landry said after learning of being named MHN Man of The Year. “In complete awe of the vision that God has for me to carry out. Other than God, my wife, Katrina Landry, has been by my side for each speaking engagements, book tour events, and countless late nights waiting for me to finish the task that come with this calling.”
Katrina, in fact, doesn’t shy away from the notion that her husband’s immeasurable gifts to the Body of Christ are second to none, something he admittedly doesn’t take lightly.
“He has been very instrumental in Where Men Hurt,” said Katrina, the owner and chief executive officer of Renewed Hope Counseling Center in Humble. “He has a heart to help others and this organization is a great avenue for him to do so. He sacrifices time, sleep, and money into not just the organization, but to the men who are involved in it.”
Interestingly, Andrew is widely known as an accomplished author.
A devout man a faith and minister, Landry witnessed the release of his second book in 2019.
His latest written work, “After the Violation: A Comprehensive Guide to Healing After Being Sexually Mishandled,” is a spiritually-empowering project that was officially released during his recent conference.
A book that is comprised of 77 pages in length, Landry’s “After the Violation: A Comprehensive Guide to Healing After Being Sexually Mishandled” is widely regarded as a guide for healing, particularly for those who have been sexually mishandled, according to a detailed synopsis of this Humble, Texas-based author’s book at Amazon.com.
Landry’s latest written work was released approximately 17 months after having witnessed his authorship debut come full circle with the release of “Overcoming The Addiction That No One Has.”
“I have far exceeded any idea of where I thought my life would be,” said Landry, trying his best to assess his achievements in 2019. “There are so many moving pieces when one is trying to build great foundational groundwork to something bigger than themselves. I have been blessed to have the right people in the right places at the right time to move forward with anticipation of the wonderful things God will allow to happen with this vision He has given me.”
By and large, it is in large part because of Landry’s awe-inspiring vision as a beloved ambassador for Christ that his wife emphasized the importance of giving him his flowers while he yet is blessed with breath in his body.
“I am so happy and proud of him for all of his accomplishments,” Katrina Landry said in paying homage to her husband. “It is an honor and a joy to watch him work and I am grateful that he is given his roses while he is here. I honor him, his work, and his heart. May this award reminds him of how great he is and encourage him that he is affecting lives.”
With God, his Helper, steering the way.
Talk about a memorable 2019.
