I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13 NKJV)
FASHIONABLY FABULOUS
Danietté A. Thomas is a tender 28 years of age which, according to her, is the exact amount of time she’s spent fervently connecting with the divine purpose for which she was created.
“My business is literally my name,” Thomas, during a weekend interview with Making Headline News, said, explaining what she likes the most about her business. “Something I’ve spent 28 years building, and now reflects in my work today. I also love seeing my sketches come to life.”
And, given the immeasurable strides as a accomplished custom fashion designer Thomas has made in recent years as the face of DANIETTÉ, it’s safe to assume that those with whom she has crossed paths likewise are avid fans of her brand.
A business that went into full operations in September 2015 in Garden City, Georgia, Thomas’ DANIETTÉ is a custom fashion design company that is widely known for empowering people to express themselves fashionably, most notably by being aware of current trends, comfortably by using what Thomas describes as silhouettes of familiarity, and confidently, or by designing one-of-a-kind custom designs, as mentioned in a detailed introduction of her venture at https://www.daniette.com/about2.

“We service men and women and specialize in garments for special occasions, including — but not limited to — bridal gowns, bridal party evening wear, gala designs, runway designs, ministry wear, suits, prom, and more,” said a spokesperson for DANIETTÉ.
Moreover, Thomas said her company customarily offers any selected style her clients desire and specializes in special occasion garments, whether for a red-carpet affair, bridal gowns, prom wear, men’s suiting attire, and more, she acknowledged.
A native of Savannah, Georgia, Thomas doesn’t shy away from the notion that she’s finally living out a full-fledged dream by which she had envisioned as a child.
“Growing up, I was always around women and men who couldn’t find garments in the stores off the rack that either couldn’t fit or weren’t unique enough, or exactly what they desired,” Thomas recalled.
Interestingly, it wasn’t long after she graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design that Thomas subsequently was contacted regarding a custom debutante ballgown.
And the rest, as they say, was history.
“With this, I decided to establish my business with the Georgia Secretary of State and obtained a FEIN (Federal Employer Identification Number), and used my sacred knowledge to brand my company with the branding tool created during my senior thesis,” Thomas said. “Now today, I am designing custom wedding gowns, men’s suits, prom attire, runway wear, red carpet designs, and more.”
A company that is steadily attracting a national presence, Thomas’ DANIETTÉ has become a trendy fixture in a number of major U. S. cities — “My business is still open to the public and still excepting custom clientele,” she said — most notably Atlanta (for International Fashion Week), not to mention New York for its annual Fashion Week, and Los Angeles for the Oscars.
Armed with more than 15 years of professional experience in her selected industry, Thomas’ business services individuals and groups of all ages or, as this longtime Georgia entrepreneur says, “(we accommodate) Custom Chris and India to 80th birthday celebration party attire…we can do it all.”
By and large, Thomas credits her sustained entrepreneurship success to the unyielding support of her mother, grandmother, professors, and a host of mentors.
And, though the COVID-19 crisis have led to cancellations of her scheduled speaking engagements, Thomas announced that plans are in the works to host A Plus Size Bridal On Lunch, as well as what is known as a SAVANNAH Prom, an event that would atone for what the Class of 2020 has lost, she said.
For what it’s worth, Thomas is forever grateful to those who have offered tireless support of her awe-inspiring vision to make her long-awaited dreams a reality.
“I personally have been inspired by so many things and so many people in my entire life,” Thomas said. “I see so many things, but nothing more than to be a phenomenal inspiration for those around me. We service people all over the United States and look forward to opportunities to grow for exposure.”
Twenty-eight years and counting.
