I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” (Matthew 16:33 ESV)
PURPOSE PUSHER
One thing about Godella Petty, she’s undoubtedly walking in the divine purpose for which God created her.
Especially as an accomplished author.
Especially in the wake of a global pandemic that has claimed the lives of thousands upon thousands around the world.
In a valiant, commendable attempt to help bring about some sense of solace to those affected by the coronavirus outbreak, Petty deemed it essential to compose a rather compelling book entitled, Princess Olivia and Princess Shania: We Want Coronavirus to Go Away.
A relatively short story that is comprised of 24 pages in length, Petty’s Princess Olivia and Princess Shania: We Want Coronavirus to Go Away depicts the life of two beloved sisters, Olivia and Shania, and their close-knit relationship.
Generally, this book highlights Olivia and Shania’s journey during what undoubtedly are unprecedented times in our world, most notably how they are feed up with everything and, most importantly, how they wish this dreaded, life-altering virus would all go away.
“Their story is to just share how they feel,” said a spokesperson for Petty’s Princess Olivia and Princess Shania: We Want Coronavirus to Go Away in a detailed synopsis of this author’s book at Google Books.

A native of Gary, Indiana, Petty’s rise to becoming an author dates back to early 2019. To her credit, she’s become thoroughly active in her featured endeavor as a writer.
“Honestly, I started writing in 2019, but so much was going on,” Petty told Making Headline News this week. “I started a couple books about the same time.”
Interestingly, Petty needed just shy of month to assemble Princess Olivia and Princess Shania: We Want Coronavirus to Go Away, having completed this awe-inspiring written work in early November.
To date, the Milwaukee-based licensed evangelist has composed four books with other projects forthcoming, much sooner than later, she said. Besides Princess Olivia and Princess Shania: We Want Coronavirus to Go Away, Petty in August 2020 was one of 16 co-authors to produce Women Win: AGAINST ALL ODDS, her second published work. She made her authorship debut with the ceremonious release of the Enemies In The House, which made its official release in June 2020.
Also, Petty is the mastermind behind You Can Make It Through Foster Care: I Did, a published document that recognizes children by giving them a credible journal as a voice or a sense of importance.
“(I have) experience of being a foster child myself,” Petty said.
Much to her delight, Petty has become the beneficiary of a rash of favorable feedback.
“The feedback has been great,” she said. “Many people have expressed how awesome and needed they think the journal is.”
Petty has announced that other children books will be launched sometime in the foreseeable future, as well as published works that will recall what she appropriately describes as “personal life journey stories.”
“I am a giver…a helper,” Petty said. “(You Can Make It Through Foster Care: I Did) allows me to do both, to give children an outlet to share their experience and have a place to keep memories. This book helps the child to feel important.”
