Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility, value others above yourselves. (Philippians 2:3 NIV)

Sharmyla Charis’ entrepreneurial track record is such that she’s become a beloved fixture for having a heart for people.
“I take pleasure in guiding others to their goal of financial success,” Sharmyla Charis, a Virginia-based Mortgage Broker, told Making Headline News during a weekend interview.
A professional stint that spans a little more than a decade-and-a-half,
Sharmyla Charis has had the luxury of being granted access to over 130 lending partners which, to her credit, is massive signs of things to come.
“Clients have an opportunity to use property as a vital asset to leverage debt,” Sharmyla Charis said of her featured business venture. “I am pleased to help them in this endeavor. I also help investors build their portfolios. We work with new investors as well.”
A native North Virginian who’s widely regarded as “A Broker That Works For Your Advantage,” Sharmyla Charis’ notable business-related objectives are centered largely on offering what she describes as a “full line of mortgage products, most notably first-time home buyer, down payment assistance loans, FHA, 203K, VA, USDA, Conventional, Reverse, Investor, Commercial, Construction, DSCR, Alt-A, Jumbo, and ARMs, among other entities.

While enjoying sustained success in her chosen line of work, Sharmyla Charis is suitably known as the Pastor of Hope In A Dry Land Ministries in Dale City, Virginia, all the while functioning as a health and fitness consultant and credit repair specialist.
When asked how her competitive drive in life greatly propel her for your featured business venture, Sharmyla Charis said:
“I have had many, many challenges in my life. Surprisingly, just when you think the challenges may pull you down, it only served to make me stronger, wiser, and better. All praises to God.”
Interestingly enough, Sharmyla Charis’ fervent rise to finding her niche in the mortgage industry was discovered sometime before the housing crash in 2006, she recalls.
“Although it was a season of just a few years, I found myself performing exceptionally well,” Sharmyla Charis said. “I helped people with their credit at no charge during that season so they could understand what was taking place in their finances and begin to introduce remedies. I also provided training and began to build a team.”
Much to her delight, Sharmyla Charis appropriately described such a challenging season as “both exciting and rewarding,” she recalls.
“After leaving the industry,” she said, “I focused on other endeavors for which I was already employed: fitness, administration, project management, auditing, and ministry. Several years ago, I had the opportunity to enter the industry once again. At this time, new regulations were incorporated and licensing was required. I decided to pursue it wholeheartedly, and I was successful. I became licensed in a couple of states and will soon expand to others.”
Having acquired an undergraduate degree in Information Systems and Technology, Charis earned a Master’s in Instructional Design and Technology and is currently pursuing a second Master’s in Divinity.
“I would like to thank God for everything that has happened in my life, no matter how hard it’s been,” Sharmyla Charis said. “I am truly grateful for what He has bestowed upon me in my eternal being by His grace. I plan to do my best to give it back to Him through inspiration and helps to others, being led by His Spirit. I desire to be a good example by His grace and for His glory. He has made me spiritually rich and wise. He is still pouring, and I am still drinking. Praise the Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.”
Amen.
And Amen.
“My personal mission is to bring individuals out of a mindset that fosters poverty and into a prosperous state of mind, starting from the inside-out,” Sharmyla Charis said. “This involves education, preparation, and deliberate steps focused on achieving financial success through home ownership and other entrepreneurship activites. It is imperative that I inspire others, because when we do, we inspire ourselves, and we fulfill the will of God. We must understand that whatever we say and whatever we do, it is returned to us.
“The Word tells us “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again” (Luke 6:38, KJV). The Word also tells us to choose life that we may live. I choose life. I choose to inspire. I expect others to benefit, and I expect to benefit as well; reaping a blessed, everlasting harvest. Praise God! His way is best! To all who have been sowing good seeds, keep sowing them. Keep doing what’s right! The Word tells us, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not” (Galatians 6:9, KJV). God sees all, He is mighty, and He will reward.”
