EDITOR’S NOTE: In honor of rising Texas businesswoman Cynthia Frank’s sustained entrepreneurial success, Making Headline News deemed it necessary to appropriately label this feature story an April 2022 Special Report
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV)
UNIQUELY AMAZING SCENTS
DALLAS — Cynthia Frank remembers it as if it all unfolded just yesterday.
“It was exactly three years later in 2017 when I decided to step out on faith,” Frank, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said, recalling how she appropriately grasped the vision to delve off into entrepreneurship.
Much to her delight, Frank’s Texas-based Cyn’s Unique Scentsations LLC has been in operations for five years strong.
A progressive, thriving business venture that continues to enjoy a considerable amount of success, Cyn’s Unique Scentsations is a home-based, all-natural body care line that customarily focuses on rejuvenating your mind, body, and spirit.
Since the inception of her featured business endeavor, Frank said she has created and formulated over 100 body skin and hair products.

Interestingly enough, Frank has added what is known as hand-poured, 100 percent soy wax candles to her inventory.
A native of Baytown, Texas who currently resides in nearby Crosby, Frank doesn’t shy away from the notion that she’s blessed to savor the best of both worlds as an accomplished Corporate America professional and flourishing entrepreneur.
“I have worked in government contract management for over 20 years,” said Frank, referring to her subcontract manager post for the Federal Oil Reserve.

As for the sustained success of based Cyn’s Unique Scentsations, Frank, a Crosby High graduate who studied Business Administration at Houston Community College and DeVry University, said: “I truly love creating my own unique expressions with my products and being able to reach individuals through my products by giving them an in-home spa like experience. I also love when a customer tells me to just use my imagination and creativity when making a custom order such as baskets.”
Much to her delight, Frank’s business seems on the brink of acquiring arguably its biggest break. Frank told MHN she currently has an e-commerce on Wal-Mart Seller Center and Amazon domestic and international levels.
“I am also working with Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club merchandising team to have a brand presence on the shelves,” Frank said. “I’ve always been very ambitious and determined to succeed. I consider myself as having the X-factor, because I’m always going the extra mile to please my customers and make them feel (satisfied).”
Frank’s Cyn’s Unique Scentsations typically services individuals and groups ranging in ages 10 to 100.
“I know that may seem a bit exaggerated. However, my oldest costumer was 103 years young,” Frank recalls.
All things considered, Frank’s quest of owning a home-based business “came to fruition” in 2013 during which she was working abroad in Baghdad, Iraq.
“One day, I decided to make peppermint sugar scrubs with natural peppermint that I grinded into a powder form,” Frank explained. “I placed a container inside the shower and told my roommate (Penny) she was welcome to use it. Three days later, Penny approached me and apologized for using all the scrub. She proceeded to tell me that she had an outbreak on her shoulders and back and the scrub cleared it up. I can still remember the excitement in her voice when she told me, ‘This stuff is really good.’ Penny shared her news with her employees in payroll and, of course, they wanted to try it as well. Within a week, word had gotten around like wildfire and, before I knew it, I was making sugar scrub in batches.”
And the rest, as they say, was history.
Approximately five years removed from witnessing the birthing of her business, Frank is thoroughly convinced Frank’s Cyn’s Unique Scentsations’ best and brightest days are well ahead of it.

“(Because of) my passion is my purpose and through my products and services, I want to change lives by giving individuals an opportunity to wipe away the stresses of life,” Frank said. “I have to say that my roommate, Penny, and her staff, as well as several other ladies on the base were the first ones to encourage me to open a business once I returned (to the states). That’s just how great the product was.”
Frank will be afforded the golden opportunity to put her entrepreneurial mechanics on display when she attends the Santee & Associates Foundation Annual Father’s Day Gala on June 11 in Houston.
“I feel it’s important to (inspire, esteem, and) encourage others to find their purpose,” Frank said. “Channel positive energy and have healthy dialogues. Everyone is on different levels, and sometimes, I just may be the person that God will use to help someone else. I strive to make a positive impact on others.”
All the while going the extra mile to help empower them to become versions of themselves.
