And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee and make thy name great, and thou shalt be a blessing. (Genesis 12:2/KJV)
AND IT CAME TO PASS
From now on, she should be suitably referred to as “Dr. Stephens.”
And rightfully so.
That’s because just recently, Dr. Angela White-Stephens took yet another monumental step towards her destiny when she reached arguably her grandest milestone to date.
This well-respected Atlanta-area minister and philanthropist acquired an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Trinity International University of Ambassadors (TIUA) School of Business during an official ceremony May 20 at the Chateau Elan in Braselton, Georgia.
Dr. White-Stephens received a Doctor of Divinity, a Business Entrepreneurship Coaching Certification, as well as an Honorary Achievement Award for her valiant lifetime commitment to community service.
“I was just in total disbelief at the thought of being recognized for something that I have a passion for,” Dr. White-Stephens told Making Headline News during a recent interview. “I mean, helping people is and has always been my passion.”
A beloved ambassador for Christ who has emerged as a fixture in the Body of Christ, Dr. White-Stephens has garnered high praise throughout the years in large part because of valiant kingdom contributions, particularly as a devoted member of Atlanta’s River of Life Christian Center.

A longtime ordained elder, Dr. White-Stephens said her latest achievement is something by which she doesn’t take lightly, considering it serves as a testament to her God-mandated calling and influential impact in throughout modern-day church.
“This recognition has impacted my life in such an amazing way,” Dr. White-Stephens said. “I have been working harder than I ever have before. I am so thankful that now I can help more families research and find resources that can help them better their lives and their families.”
Interestingly enough, it is due in large part to Dr. White-Stephens’ presence in the community that subsequently inspired TIUA School of Business officials to name her a recipient for one of the institution’s most prestigious honors. To her credit, Dr. Stephens has given back mightily to her local church and community health fairs.
GOD’S PLAN
“Helping one family at a time means more to me than anything else,” Dr. White-Stephens said. “I will and have never forgotten where I come from. Someone helped me and my family and I have always said that I will always pay it forward. Hopefully soon, I will be able to have a (community) center to accommodate all my needs for the future of helping others to better themselves.”
A beloved preacher of the gospel who’s admittedly “grounded and standing firm” on her southern roots to serve in the church, Dr. White-Stephens’ Christ-centered reputation is such is that she has adopted a steadfast commitment to serving others and teaching the Word of God.
Moreover, she leads and serves on several committees, most notably the Pastor’s appreciation committee, treasurer for her church’s choir, and President of the Women’s Ministry.
To her credit, Dr. White-Stephens has become a fixture for assisting others through what is known as a “clothes closet” and food pantry, both of which she operates out of her home.
These entities, she said, are designed primarily to aid individuals with basic needs and, most of all, “serve people where they are without judgment,” she emphasized.

As for her latest milestone, Dr. White-Stephens said:
