She considers a field before she buys or accepts it — expanding her business prudently — with her profits, she plants fruitful vines in her vineyard. (Proverbs 31:16 Amplified Bible)
PURPOSED FOR GROWTH
To her distinctly unique credit, Jalinia Logan doesn’t shy away from the notion that she’s always been what she appropriately describes as a “highly motivated and ambitious” individual.
Now we know why.
Consider, for instance, the remarkably immeasurable strides Logan continues to make as the Founder and Director of Growth & Guidance Counseling LLC, her featured business endeavor that went into operations just before the unprecedented global pandemic altered the world as we know it.
Established in early 2020, Logan’s Growth & Guidance Counseling is housed in two locations: in the greater Atlanta metropolitan area and in her native hometown of Chicago.
Given the continuous success of her rising practice, it’s safe to assume Logan’s business endeavor’s best and brightest days are well ahead of it.

As part of Making Headline News’ advance national media coverage for Bishop T. D. Jakes 2024 International Leadership Summit from Dallas March 21-23, Logan, 34, said what she cherishes the most about her chosen line of work is the fact there are times when it does not feel like work.
“There are moments that people I serve communicate that the work we do together has been a rewarding or helpful experience for them,” Logan said. “My business continues to thrive based on the success of learning to align and connect with people who understand the vision that continues to help support the business in growth.”
Generally, the strategic mission surrounding Logan’s practice is centered in large part on bringing more awareness towards the significance of mental health in living healthier lifestyles by providing therapeutic counseling, educational and wellness services, a trend that customarily instills a sense of confidence, hope, and support to people while taking mental health to the next level, according to a detailed synopsis of Growth & Guidance Counseling via the company’s website.

“Whether you’re interested in mental health services, or you provide them, you’ve come to the right place. Feel free to ask anything,” said a spokesperson for Growth & Guidance Counseling.
Widely regarded as one of the finest counseling and therapy practices of its kind, Logan’s venture offers a variety of life-enhancing services, most notably Life Coaching, Telehealth Counseling, Group Counseling, Family Counseling, Couple Counseling, Behavioral, and Individual Counseling, among other notable services.
Growth & Guidance Counseling’s Atlanta-area practice is located at 2551 Roswell Road., Suite 410 in Marietta. The Chicago-area facility is located at 5569 W. 95th Street in nearby Oak Lawn, Illinois.
An accomplished psychotherapist, Logan holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Sciences from Chicago State University. Consequently, she acquired a Master’s Degree in Social Work with an emphasis in Clinical/Medical Social Work.
A practice that customarily services individuals and groups ranging in ages five-and-up, Growth & Guidance Counseling has become a fixture for offering adult, adolescence, and children counseling therapy support.
“Our biggest client population would be mostly adults who are seeking support with making changes in their lives, along with developing healthy coping tools to help get them further along in life,” Logan said. “My personal mission for this business is to bring more awareness and exposure to the significance of mental health by educating and encouraging people of various populations to learn the importance of managing their health overall. I want to help break the stigma and make talking about matters such as mental health, more common, necessary, and respectable to ensure that people learn healthy ways to cope while taking better care of themselves and growing as human beings.”
When asked to whom does she credits for steadfastly empowering her to pursue her lofty entrepreneurial dreams and ambitions, Logan said:
“I was inspired to create this business by attending therapy myself for the first time. I had a Caucasian therapist who was helpful, but I wasn’t as connected to them as a person. My goal was to be a representation for people like myself to understand that black therapist do exist and they matter, and helping people who are often under represented. I aspire to do the work of some commonly known therapist in the black community, such as Elliott Connie and Nedra Tawana.”
REAPING A HARVEST
Logan announced the official grand opening of her Atlanta-based practice will take place the weekend leading to Martin Luther King, Jr’s national holiday, which recognizes the birthday of the late Civil Rights icon.
“(We want to) honor and live out the legacy of his dream,” Logan said.
To her credit, she’s doing just that, as evidenced by the immeasurable strides she has made since her practice’s inception.
