MAKING SMART MOVES

Shortly before she crossed over into 2026, Sabrina Smart hastened to her social media timeline, where she made a rather fascinating, spiritually-empowering affirmation.
Said Smart in a December 31 post via Facebook:
“I’m not carrying old limits into a new year. (Twenty twenty-six) is my season to launch into the deep, trust God fully, and walk boldly in my assignment — without apology. My 2026 mindset: clarity over confusion, obedience over fear, discipline over distraction, and purpose over pressure. The purpose still stands. The calling still speaks. And the Inner Queen rises.”
Indeed, it does for Smart, this devout woman of faith, devoted mother, transformational speaker, five-time bestselling author, and ministry leader who is the Founder of Inner Queen Coaching.

Also the Founder and President of Beauty 4 Ashes International, Smart’s Inner Queen Coaching is her Evanston, Illinois faith-based coaching and personal development brand, one that customarily empowers women to heal, rebuild their confidence, rediscover their purpose, and create lives they love after experiencing life’s greatest challenges, the esteemed empowerment professional told Making Headline News as part of its 2026 Essence Music Festival national coverage for “the party with a purpose” event in New Orleans.
“Through coaching, speaking, books, and personal development resources, I help women transform pain into purpose,” Smart, 42, said.
Aside from overseeing the day-to-day operations of a credible nonprofit organization, Smart leads Moms Who Intercede, a rising prayer community that equips mothers to pray strategically for their children, families, and future generations through biblical encouragement, prayer, and spiritual growth.
“My journey wasn’t fueled by competition. It was fueled by purpose,” Smart told MHN. “After surviving domestic violence, homelessness, heartbreak, and seasons of tremendous adversity, I made the decision that my story would not end in pain. Instead, I chose to build something that would give hope to others. Every obstacle became preparation for the work I do today.”

A native of Bolingbrook, Illinois, Smart is a graduate of Genesis Healthcare Institute, where she acquired credentials as a trained Medical Assistant. Consequently, she enrolled at Robert Morris University, where she studied Business Administration.
To her credit, she boasts more than 15 years of experience in the ever-evolving Healthcare Administration industry.
“My education, professional background, and life experiences have all shaped my passion for serving others with excellence, compassion, and purpose,” Smart said. “The greatest reward is seeing lives transformed. Watching women regain their confidence, embrace their worth, and begin walking boldly in their purpose reminds me why I do this work. There is no greater fulfillment than helping someone believe in themselves again.”
Much to her delight, Smart has become the beneficiary of a considerable amount of favorable support from the general public since starting her nonprofit organization.
“Many people have shared that my authenticity, resilience, and unwavering faith inspire them to keep moving forward despite life’s challenges,” Smart told MHN. “My work has been described as empowering, transformational, relatable, and filled with hope because it combines practical guidance with encouragement and purpose.
“My mission is to help women understand that their past does not define their future. I am committed to empowering others to heal emotionally, grow personally, strengthen their faith, and pursue the purpose for which they were created.”
As for the continuous growth of her organization, Smart credits her close-knit relationship and faith walk with God as arguably the grandest factors.
“My greatest inspiration is my faith in God,” Smart said. “I am also inspired by the resilience of women who choose healing over hopelessness and by my children, who continually remind me why breaking unhealthy cycles and building a legacy of hope matters.”
SHE’S GOT THE SMARTS

Continued Smart:
“Words have the power to change lives. One message of hope can encourage someone not to give up. I believe we all have a responsibility to use our voice to uplift others because when one person heals and rises, families, communities, and future generations are impacted. If there is one message I hope readers remember, it is this: your story doesn’t end with what happened to you.
“Every setback can become a setup for purpose when you refuse to quit. My life is a testament to God’s grace, resilience, and the power of choosing hope over despair. I am committed to helping others discover that beauty truly can rise from ashes.”
