These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But be of good cheer. I have overcome the world. (John 16:33/NKJV)
PROTECTING HER PEACE

Marteka Landrum is fully persuaded that inheriting inner peace isn’t merely an occasional occurrence.
Rather, it is a lifestyle, for the most part.
By all accounts, this is the divine message Landrum, an accomplished Mid-South author, is vividly disclosing to her readers by way of Peace Within: The Home The School The Community & Work The World, the highly-anticipated anthology that is spearheaded by Visionary Author Dr. Theresa A. Moseley.
As part of Making Headline News’ advance national coverage ahead of Sarah Jakes Roberts’ Third Annual Woman Evolve Conference July 31 through August 2 from Atlanta, Georgia, Landrum spoke at length about how she had become greatly inspired to address the importance of inner peace.

An anthology that is comprised of 32 co-authors, Dr. Moseley’s Peace Within: The Home The School The Community & Work The World is scheduled to be published by September 11, in time for her Passion Purpose Peace Virtual Summit during which this book will make its official debut.
“I chose to address inner peace because I believe that’s where it all starts,” Landrum told MHN this week. “Before I can have peace within the home, school, or community, I must have some level of peace within myself.”
In a nutshell, Landrum goes as far as to describe inner peace as a gentle river flowing or a babbling brook, of sorts.
“Inner peace feels calm and relaxing as well as safe and protected,” Landrum explains. “When I have more inner peace, I am willing to share more of myself with others.”

Moreover, inner peace, Landrum acknowledged, is especially vital for the human race in large part because she has appropriately deemed it as our internal thermometer.
“Inner peace helps us regulate our bodies and determines how well we interact with others,” Landrum said. “We are fearfully and wonderfully made. Our body gives us signals all the time. It is important for us to take time to listen.”
And not just take the time to listen. But rather diligently exercise our faith in the process, Landrum suggests.
“My faith has been the driving force for cultivating inner peace,” Landrum said. “I began to focus more on peace during a very challenging time. Spending time in the word and with the Father has helped me find a greater sense of inner peace. Once I learned what inner peace looked and felt like for me, it became easy to recognize when I no longer had inner peace. The Body of Christ has helped provide missing links as well as sharpen me when my inner peace has been challenged.”
To her credit, Landrum has garnered high praise for her solo-authored project, Broken Warrior: Be Empowered To Overcome, which debuted in 2022. That same year, she joined two anthologies: Good Grief: Finding The Goodness In Grief and Passion Purpose Peace: The Pathway Through Trials and Tribulations.
Then the following year, she joined a third anthology, this one entitled Resilient: The Power to Get Back Up!. And, just recently, she joined the collaborative book project, Bloom: Growth In The Unexpected Place, which is scheduled to be released in August.

Additional written works are forthcoming, Landrum announced.
“I am working on a journal to go with Broken Warrior and a book on forgiveness,” she said.
As for other thought-provoking messages behind her selected chapter via Dr. Moseley’s Peace Within: The Home The School The Community & Work The World, Landrum said:
“You can overcome is my message. No matter what it was, how long ago it happened, whether or not you told someone, you can overcome that hurt. I am a daughter of the King, learning to love and serve others well with peace, integrity, and great faith.
“I am alive to serve others well by presenting truth in love and holding the plumb line of completing things with excellence.”
After all, she’s fully persuaded that inheriting inner peace isn’t an occasional occurrence.
Rather, it is a lifestyle.
For the most part, of course.
