DALLAS — It doesn’t take very long for anyone who crosses paths with Tameka King-Durham to realize that her reputation is such that she’s customarily a half-glass-full kind of person.
By all accounts, she’s especially one who aspires to see life from God’s perspective.
To her credit, that is amongst the grandest reasons King-Durham has found favor with God as a rising entrepreneur throughout Dallas/Fort Worth, one of the most energy-driven, business-oriented, and most populous establishments in America.
A 38-year-old native of St. Louis, King-Durham is owner and chief operating officer of Business Solutions, a unique, credible multiple service company that offers customers a variety of professional entities that will greatly enabled them to become equipped and empowered to get a leg up in today’s ever-so-competitive job market.
Everything from assembling resumes, to resume re-writing, cover letters, and thank you letters, among other things.
Given the immense strides she has made while simultaneously finding her niche in her craft, it’s safe to assume that King-Durham, by all accounts, have connected with her passion, thus walking in her divine purpose.
“For many years, I have written resumes not only for myself, but family members, friends, and others,” King-Durham told longtime journalist Andre Johnson during a recent interview. “I have always received favorable feedback from all. As a writer (with a wealth of experience, it is my belief that my job is to construct an amazing story of (consumers’) careers that will get them seen and hopefully the call for an interview.
“My mission is to let people know that we can always do and better,” King-Durham continued. “(I teach them to) stay positive and strive to always be the best you. God has a purpose for all. It is up to us to figure out what it is and make it work.”

In detailing her up-and-coming venture, King-Durham specifically stressed that Business Solutions offer consumers:
Interview Coaching — “One must realize that the key to landing the dream job is to be prepared,” King-Durham said. “So it’s important to know that it’s not okay to just walk in an interview cold turkey or think that you can wing it. The interviewer will know. (Job seekers) must have a clear understanding of what the job is about and learn how to effectively communicate they are better suited for the position.”
Salary Negotiating Tools — “Of course, money is the driving force with regard to why we start the entire job search process,” King-Durham explains. “Depending on the position, it is quite possible the salary can be negotiated. We’ve got the tools to help you get through negotiating your next salary.”
Complaint Letters — “I offer this service simply because I am good at complaining and getting results,” King-Durham explained. “My father taught me how to write an effective letter when I have been wronged by a service or received a product that didn’t work properly. This service is for those who have had a bad experience and just don’t have the time to follow up for resolutions. We are more than happy to be the voice of the consumer when handling these issues.”
Insurance Assistance — “My career of choice initially was as Licensed Claims Adjuster for over 13 years,” King-Durham said. “Now I am not a lawyer. However, throughout the years, I have seen how people spent thousands on attorneys and it’s possible they did not need one. We will not settle claims. However, we can assist with answering questions one might have about their auto accident, injuries, or general liability claim experience.”
A graduate Lindenwood University, amongst the reasons King-Durham believes her business stands out is that it is a necessity of which consumers ought to take advantage.
The sooner, the better she said, because in this day and time, the job market will only become more competitive.
That is where King-Durham becomes a reliable, aggressive source of reason, particularly as it pertains to providing job seekers the right solutions to become equipped and empowered to get a leg up in today’s ever-so-competitive job market.
“I was never competitive in sports,” said King-Durham, “but always in life. For as long as I can remember, at the beginning of each calendar year, I write out short-term and long-term goals. Entrepreneurship has been on the long-term list long enough. It’s time for me to cross it off and continuing to move forward.”
This, to her credit, sums up why she’s one who aspires to see life from God’s perspective.
