DEFYING THE ODDS
Andre’anna Hampton undoubtedly has endured her share of adversity for someone who has yet to reach the age of 30.
Amongst those dreaded adversities: the termination of a marriage.
Still, because of who she and because of where God is taking her, Hampton has deemed it essential to strive to see the light at the end of the tunnel through her unlikely marital dissolution.
A Little Rock, Arkansas-area businesswoman and author, Hampton has announced the startup of “Life After Divorce,” her newly-produced YouTube vlog series she admittedly had been contemplating establishing for some time, she told Making Headline News during a recent interview.
As Hampton explained, “Life After Divorce” essentially is a “safe haven,” of sorts, particularly for those who are presently or have dealt with the turmoil surrounding a divorce.
“This series is informational, laid-back, and it is meant for everyone of color, creed, size, and age,” Hampton said. “We want to keep you all close and have fun, but also experience talks with you all.”
So much, in fact, that Hampton, has labeled her newly-erected blog series as a “community,” of sorts.
And not only a “ community,” but rather “a place of peace, faith and fun, all while you’re balancing your everyday life and supporting one another,” she said.
Despite what undoubtedly has been a year of an array of highs and lows, Hampton has been her usual resourceful self.
For starters, this Mid-South-area author has produced her soon-to-be-released book entitled, “Every Woman Is Powerful 2.0,” a project that is an extension of Hampton’s “Every Woman Is Powerful,” her very first book that was published in August 2017.
As for her latest notable endeavor, Hampton doesn’t shy away from the notion that it is by God’s grace that even in the midst of her season in the wilderness, her Creator is yet providing for her a way of escape.
“I’ve learned that out of all of my fears…I had to face this with one,” Hampton explained. “Not many take interest in talking about divorce. And that was mine, because it’s not something that you take pride in. It can hurt…divorce can hurt your pride in so many ways.”

For Hampton, though, the more she opened up about her failed marriage, the more she began to exemplify a great deal of transparency.
The more she began to display a great deal of transparency, the more she had come to discover that even in a discomforting situation, God has the power to allow her light to shine so that men would see her good works, thus glorify Him.
“Eventually, I realized just talking about it can help me through it…even still to encourage others,” Hampton said. “Furthermore, I’m a writer, a women’s advocate, so transparency of some sort is a part of the game.”
When asked in what ways have defying the greatest of odds benefited her, Hampton jumpstarted her direct with three words, two of which were the same.

“Faith. Faith over fear,” Hampton without hesitation, said while alluding to the familiar verse that is Philippians 4:13. “I’m a strong believer in faith, though it’s a tug of war, you know? The enemy wants you to give up. And in so many ways, I haven’t. I had to stare in straight in the eye.”
And for that very reason, Hampton can fully attest to the notion that she can think and see more clearly, both in the natural and the spirit.
“God stayed on me…kept me under His Wing,” Hampton said. “He gave me a heart and a voice. It was time to use it.”
Talk about defying arguably the greatest of odds.
In another development:
Hampton announced the unveiling of soon-to-be launched MUVA MAFIA, her spiced and vintage crafted mother’s apparel designed to for many occasions, she told MHN.
“We help dress the little ones, too,” Hampton said of her clothing apparel that’s crafted by a Muva for Muvas.
Hampton’s mother’s apparel line is scheduled to launch on May 7, just in time for Mother’s Day, which is May 19.
