I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. (Psalm 139:14 NIV)
EMBRACING PURPOSE
Wendy Magee was all ears.
She heard all of what essentially was nothing more than murmuring and complaining —at least from a spiritual perspective.
Even as she listened attentively to a gallery of women collectively question the purpose for they were created, she sensed it was a civic duty to helped steer them in the right direction with God, her Helper, steering the way.
“I began hearing many women questioning their purpose,” Magee told Making Headline News this week. “As I spoke with these women, I found that many of them have been married for several years and feeling like they have lost themselves and didn’t have a purpose.”
A devout woman of faith who has been married for more than 12 years, Magee deemed it essential to put her immeasurable authorship gifts on display for a second time, this time with the release of the newly-produced book entitled, “You Are Unique: Embrace It.”

A spiritually-empowering written work that was published in March 2019, Magee’s “You Are Unique: Embrace It” is a 21-day devotional that is accompanied by a rather intriguing and innovative blog this New Orleans-based author has been assembling since 2017.
For her valiant efforts through her latest book, Magee has been nominated to for what is known as the prestigious Henri Award, which will be announced at the 2019 Christian Literary Awards December 7.
There are two opportunities for recipients to win at the Christian Literary Awards, as mentioned at http://christianliteraryawards.com.

For Magee, this is the second time she’s been nominated for such an honor.
Her first book, “And She Called Him Lord,” was up for a 2016 Henri Award, a project that eventually became an Amazon Bestseller.
A book that is comprised of 88 pages, Magee’s “And She Called Him Lord” was designed for both married couples and couples who aspire to become married.
Magee’s third book, “A Servant Attitude: Delayed Obedience Is Disobedience,” is presently in the works.
A timetable for the release has yet to be announced, she said.
As for Magee’s latest book, she emphasized this project was designed to strategically provide what she labels “powerful strategies” on how to embrace your greatness.
“Each day is filled with life-changing advice, utilizing the word of God that you can apply to your own life,” Magee, a Port Arthur, Texas native, said.
A book that is spearheaded by the familiar Biblical passage that is Psalm 139:14, Magee’s latest written work has come full circle with the unyielding support of her husband, David Magee.
“(Our) purpose is to help people find out their purpose,” Magee explained. “The world wants you to think that as a woman, wife, mother, even a young lady that you don’t have purpose, but the word of God tells us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made.”

Interestingly, Magee was inspired to compose her latest book not just for the sole purpose of enhancing the lives of others, but she also found some personal inspiration while carrying out her latest Christian-based assignment.
“Through my writing of the book, I found the love for running and fitness,” Magee said. “I found purpose to inspire people to push beyond their limits to find greatness.”
Much to her delight, her God-mandated mission undoubtedly has been accomplished.
