I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all. (Ecclesiastes 9:11 NIV)
DREAM CHASER
For as long as she can recall, Millette A. Martin-Johnson has been armed with a dream.
And a passion.
She has been armed with a dream and a passion.
In no particularly order, of course.
All that matters, as far as Martin-Johnson is concerned is that she devises a strategic, effective plan to ensure that her dream and passion become a reality.
And so it came to pass, Martin-Johnson’s awe-inspiring quest that was accompanied largely by a rather notable journey, one that aligns solely with her divine purpose as a rising entrepreneur.
A native of Savannah, Georgia, Martin-Johnson, 52, is savoring the fruits of her labor as an Independent Director at Paparazzi Accessories, an online, internationally-acclaimed retail business that is geared largely toward selling classy and trendy accessories to women everywhere, all for the low cost of just $5.

In addition, Martin-Johnson is a Certified Representative at Total Life Changes, according to her profile on her Facebook page.
Having officially gone into operations in 1999, Total Life Changes, or TLC as it is widely known, provides thousands of people around the world with the opportunity to build a brighter future, most notably by way of living and savoring a healthy lifestyle, as well as through the financial freedom and flexibility they seek.
A graduate of Savannah’s Herschel V, Jenkins High School, Martin-Johnson doesn’t shy away from the notion that she’s basking in the glory of the moment for a rising businesswoman who senses her best and brightest days are well ahead of her.
“I would like others to know if they have a dream or passion, don’t stop until you achieve your purpose,” Martin-Johnson told Making Headline News this week. “God gave us one life to live. And to be happy, why not enjoy it?”
As for those aspiring business owners who essentially are harboring a spirit of procrastination, Martin-Johnson has one vital message she feels compel to pass along.
“Get out there, conquer your fears, and make it happen,” Martin-Johnson says without hesitation.
Fortunately for Martin-Johnson — whose stomping ground is Pinpoint, or a community that is famously known as “The Point” in Savannah — once she developed the mindset to divorce her fears, favorable things began to happen in her favorable.
Today, she’s the proud owner of a Paparazzi Accessories venture she’s appropriately dubbed, “Millzpapacouture Chic Boutique “THEMILLZ.”
“I went to school for Retail Sales Management and worked in various retail stores in (Savannah’s) Oglethorpe Mall after graduating,” said Martin-Johnson, who was introduced to the Paparazzi family by fellow representative Utesa Chisholm. “My cartoon character name is ‘MILLIE MILLZ.’”
YOU GO GIRL!!!
By and large, it because Martin-Johnson “love to dress and look good” that she has greatly inspired her to, in turn, empower others to follow suit — all the while fortifying her dream and passion.
In no particular order, of course.
“I thought this would be a chance to go into my field and to continue to help beautiful queens, little queens, and kings look good, styling in their beautiful five dollar bling,” said Martin-Johnson, who works as the Referral Coordinator at Savannah’s Children’s Care HCA Memorial. “We cater to little girls with $1 bling from our Starlet Shimmer collection. Also, we have a $5 Bling Men’s line.”
