Atlanta music recording artist Tony Hanson carrying on his mother’s legacy through his immeasurable gifts

GOD’S PLAN
All of the years Tony Hanson had spent watching his father’s expertise as a flourishing disk jockey is starting to pay off mightily.
“Watching my dad DJ, I developed a strong love for music,” Hanson, 37, told Making Headline News this week.
It is due in large part to Hanson’s fervent passion for music that has benefited him in ways unimaginable.
To his credit, Hanson is steadily becoming a fixture in the music industry, primarily because he’s been afforded the golden opportunity to expose his gifts alongside a number of big-name celebs in the entertainment industry.
Widely known as “Jamaican Tony” because he was born and raised in Jamaica Queens, New York, Hanson’s musical talents were everything but unnoticed when he was apart of 30-city tour with renowned Memphis rapper/entertainer Project Pat.
The first member of his family to have been born on U. S. soil, Hanson has been producing music for years as a strategic way to garner exposure, as well as to provide for his family and customarily establish lasting relationships with those with whom he crosses paths.
For what it’s worth, he’s been as good as advertised. Hanson’s latest project, Jamaican Tony Volume 1, is available on all platforms, a source close to his music told MHN.
“The fact that I can touch people’s (lives) and make them feel the emotions from my music is what I love the most about being an (entertainer),” Hanson said.
For Hanson, it seemed that since his childhood, he was destined to eventually become a resourceful entertainer.
Raised in a Jamaican household by his grandparents who adopted him at the tender age of three, Hanson spent years watching his father, a renowned reggae disk jockey, make a name for himself.
Interestingly, Hanson’s mother was an accomplished model and dancer which, according to him, further ignited his desire to become an entertainer.
“That is where the influence of music was inherited,” Hanson said.
RAISING THE BAR
Having commenced to writing music when he was just 10 years old, Hanson relocated to Miami and, by the turn he turned 15, his focus shifted more on becoming a hip-hop artist.
Consequently, he signed his first record deal at the age of 17, then subsequently engaged in his first tour two years later with Derrick Ramen and Hip Rock Records, thus heightening his immeasurable talent and passion as a music recording artist.
Since his mother’s passing, Hanson has become greatly inspired to carry on her legacy through his music.
“My mother is my biggest inspiration…God rest her soul,” Hanson said. “She always told me to never stop, and that one day, my dreams would come true.”
In many aspects, that’s exactly what has happened for this young entertainer, who has had the luxury of working alongside such prominent artists as DMX, P-Diddy Combs, and a host of other well-known music celebs.
“I’ve been privileged to be around such great talent,” Hanson said. “I started writing music when I was seven years old and have never stopped.”
And, given the remarkably brilliant strides he’s made since delving off into the entertainment industry, he’s shown no sign of slowing down anytime time soon.
Which, to his credit, isn’t merely a bad thing.
“I am a person of knowledge and a great talent and through my music,” Hanson says with such humbleness. “I feel it’s my duty to inspire people on a daily basis.”
All the while his beloved mother looks down from the heavens cheering him on, much like she did when he first adopted a keen passion for music.
