WHAT A YEAR
DALLAS — For many, 2020 has been a year of great challenges.
For Alesha Ann Lofton, meanwhile, 2020 has been a year of great changes, many of which have benefited her mightily, thus shaped her life for the betterment in the process.
A Dallas/Fort Worth businesswoman who could be appropriately described a serial entrepreneur, Lofton has been afforded the luxury of establishing two business ventures this year, both of which have given way to her making immeasurable strides.
In March, Lofton, 41, established Body Countouring & More by DJ, a DFW-based endeavor that is widely known for offering non-surgical, non-invasive procedures to help you achieve your body goals with no down time, no pain, no side effects, and no scars, according to a detailed introduction of her venture on its Facebook business page.

Also, Body Countouring & More by DJ customarily offers laser lipo, 40K ultrasound radio frequency, sauna detox, skin tightening, lymphatic drainage, natural butt and breast enhancements, meal plans, and 30-day workout plans, among other entities.
And, then there is the ever-so-popular Total Life Changes, a company Lofton joined in May. Much to her delight, she has enjoyed a considerable amount of success as one of TLC’s newest Directors.
Having officially gone into operations in 1999, Total Life Changes, or TLC as it is widely known, provides thousands of people around the world with the opportunity to build a brighter future, most notably by way of living and savoring a healthy lifestyle, as well as through the financial freedom and flexibility they seek.
According to a spokesperson for TLC, this internationally-acclaimed business has developed a widely described as a “true sense of family” that is shared by its independent business owners, executive staff, and customer service agents. Moreover, this company is credible in that it customarily provides its members with an unlimited opportunity to grow their business, not to mention develop a network of offices located across the world.
A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Lofton’s newly-erected business ventures come amid an array of low self-esteem issues surrounding her weight that had previously affected her for some time.
“(I was) having low self-esteem about my weight and appearance and dealing with many challenges to achieve my goals,” Lofton told Making Headline News during a weekend interview. “Now, I am able to utilize my God-given gifts, talents, experiences and testimonials to inspire and motivate others.”
Business endeavors that customarily service individuals and groups ranging in ages 18-to-80, Lofton has enjoyed a considerable amount of success throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Generally, she emphasized the time has come that she expands her entrepreneurial repertoire, all the while having more of a global impact as a result.
So far, so good for this native Oklahoman whom, as she tells it, was destined to never place her entrepreneurship dreams by the wayside.
Interestingly, Lofton’s mothers passed away at the tender age of 53 after a battle with diabetes. It wasn’t long thereafter that she had become diagnosed with gestational diabetes.
“I weighed 276 pounds at my heaviest and my OBGYN told me if I didn’t get the weight off, I would eventually have Type 2 diabetes like my mama,” Lofton recalls. “I have been borderline Type 2 several times. My ex-husband has Type-2 diabetes and half of his foot was amputated.”
Consequently, once Lofton had become committed to doing the necessary things to reduce her weight, she subsequently inherited the positive changes she so desperately sought.
