I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18 NIV)
SMILING BY FAITH
At approximately 4:15 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, Elaire Moore took to social media timeline, where she erected a rather emotionally-driven, tear-jerking post to her beloved, heavenly angel.
Said Moore in a Facebook post before her gallery of social media followers:
“Today makes 31 years that my beautiful Queen gained her wings. There’s never a day that goes by that she doesn’t cross my mind. I can’t, nor will I ever feel or hear her voice, but I know every step or move I make, she’s there. Today, as always has been a sad day, now it isn’t because I chose to release my book.”
And what a remarkably compelling, life-altering book that was produced by Moore, the mastermind behind The Truth Behind My Smile, arguably her most cherished milestone to date, one that was officially released in January 2021.
During an exclusive interview this week with Making Headline News, Moore, a Radcliff, Kentucky-based author, recalled vividly how sometime in her “early 20’s,” God had strategically infused within her such immeasurable wisdom and vision to compose a book that figures to emerge as a constant page-tuner — much sooner than later.

“Darkness does not have to have a hold over you from your past,” Moore, a native of Detroit, said, explaining the single, most underlying reason she deemed it essential to make her authorship debut.
A book that is comprised of 64 pages in length, Moore’s The Truth Behind My Smile depicts the rash of turbulence that has surfaced and disrupted the life of a young girl, one who has been unceremoniously thrust in what she describes as a “world alone.”
Not only that, this innocent young girl — clinging to a life filled with promise and much potential — is left to endure and combat a slew of dreaded obstacles — from physical to mental to verbal abuse, to put it more precisely. As if such ongoing turmoil wasn’t enough to shatter her God-ordained destiny, this innocent girl was molested at the tender age of five, a trend that ultimately had ultimately given way to her having been raped from the time she turned 12 until her life’s adolescent stage.
“Even before she was able to get freedom, the darkness still gripped her tight,” said an Amazon spokesperson for Moore’s The Truth Behind My Smile.
A newly-released book that has given way to Moore to becoming the beneficiary of an array of favorable feedback, this author emphasized, among other things, that she felt compelled to share her story as a strategic and effective way to speak to people who are broken.
“(I’m determined) to be a voice that speaks to the broken, the left behind, and the fighters,” More said. “I’m still accepting my purpose and that is to not be afraid of success, even if I lose or leave people behind me.”
A book she needed somewhere in the neighborhood of 16 years to write — “I started writing the book in 2004, but didn’t completely dedicate myself until 2020,” she acknowledged — Moore said she has fielded an array of congratulatory shout outs and well-wishes when word spread of her having become a published authors.
“(I’ve gotten) a lot of ‘Congratulations, I’m proud of you, and I can relate and when is the next one?’” Moore said. “(Some people said) ‘I can’t wait (for the official release).’”
Moore announced that her sophomore book is currently in the works.
“I’m in the process of putting it in order,” she said.
Surely, her beloved angel is peeping down from her heavenly post, smiling from ear-to-ear amid her daughter’s latest major accomplishment.
“On this day, in honor of my mother — and to remember darkness — (I realize such past turmoil) doesn’t have to keep you bound,” Moore said in her Tuesday after Facebook post. “I choose to see the light and the good that’s in me, (regardless) of my past. I am who I am. I love me, even if others don’t. R.I.H. momma, your baby girl.”
Whom, much to her delight, is wearing a huge smile nowadays.
That, after all, is nothing short of the truth.
