Anthony Gunter undoubtedly is a man of wisdom.
Especially when it comes to carrying out his God-mandated quest in helping his wife, Dr. Jennifer Jones Bryant, to become a better version of herself.
Consider, for instance, how just recently, Dr. Bryant’s husband suggested that his newlywed companion to diligently step out on faith by spearheading her own authorship project.
As Dr. Bryant recalls, it seemed as if God was speaking clearly to her through her husband.
“My husband witnessed me participating in other anthologies,” Dr. Bryant told Making Headline News this week. “He asked me three months ago, ‘When are you going to do your own anthology?’ I said to him, ‘That’s an amazing idea.’ Then, I prayed about my next steps.”
And, the rest, as they say, was history.

A highly-anticipated anthology that is scheduled to debut in March 2021 and foreword by Dr. Mary J. Huntley, Dr. Bryant’s latest milestone, to her credit, has expanded what is already an extensive list of accolades for the founder and CEO of Reaching Within, An Empowerment Journey LLC, her Mitchellville-based venture whose strategic mission is centered largely on inspiring and empowering others so that they can overcome personal challenges that would enable them to meet their professional goals for success.
“Jesus said, ‘A good leader seeks the Lord, commits his way to the Lord, and the Lord establishes the next steps,’” Dr. Bryant, a perennial best-selling author, said. “I prayed about whether I should move forward and waited to hear God’s Voice and direction.”
Much to her delight, God didn’t take very long to infuse within Dr. Bryant the awe-inspiring vision to spearhead a remarkably compelling book project for the ages, one that figures to be as good as advertised.
In many aspects, it already is, given the fervent national buzz that has been created, courtesy of Dr. Bryant’s forthcoming anthology.
“Shortly after (that prayer), God gave me the title and vision for this book to help others to unleash their super powers and to deliver the message that you do not have to be in a certain position to use their influence to make an impact,” Dr. Bryant explained. “Many people believe leadership is something that’s conferred along with a title or attained when you direct a team of people, but true leadership is never about authority or power. It’s about disrupting the status quo to effect change and helping others to grow.”
In a nutshell, Dr. Bryant emphasized, among other things, that her strategic vision for Step Into Leadership Greatness: Leadership Isn’t Just A Title is to inspire, empower, and elevate current and future leaders by creating an impactful resource.
“The cutting-edge solutions, tips, tools, and strategies are based upon powerful lessons, skills, and talents that are destined to globally impact communities,” Dr. Bryant said. “My mission is to encourage others to unleash their leadership potential without a title. There’s no one-size-fits-all kind of leader. The manner of leadership traits one displays depends on the situation. I wanted to give opportunities and visibility to those silent leadership giants who aren’t often seen, who delivered results, and have incredible impact within their family, churches, government, and communities.
“I can’t wait to read all the chapters to prepare the introduction in February 2021.”
For what it’s worth, Dr. Bryant’s co-authors collectively share the same sentiments, considering they were afforded the golden opportunity to put their unique authorship skills on display.
