Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 KJV)
‘CHANGE IS COMING’
Retreating to the prayer room at the Brooklyn, New York-based church Apostle Murthlene A. Sampson has been called to lead, by all accounts, is a customary trend.
In early 2020, however, a rather remarkably sequence of events transpired when Apostle Sampson found herself engaging in a rather spirited, life-enhancing dialogue with God.
“I received the vision to write this book when I was in my prayer room at my church,” Apostle Sampson told Making Headline News this week. “While praying, the Lord said, ‘Change is coming,’ and I began to write what was placed in my heart.”
And it came to pass, Apostle Sampson’s Metamorphosis: Warfare Prayers That Bring Change, her third book to date that made its ceremonious release amid this unprecedented global pandemic.
A spiritually-empowering written work that is comprised of 180 pages in length, Apostle Sampson’s Metamorphosis: Warfare Prayers That Bring Change was officially published on May 27, 2020 and has since become a fixture in the Body of Christ.
“Metamorphosis was written to feed your thoughts, change your prayer life, and bring change to your situation,” said, Apostle Sampson, explaining the God-mandated vision for composing her latest book. “After using the prayers in this book, you will experience change.”
For starters, the Greek word Metamorphosis — μεταμορφόω pronounced met-amor-fo’-o — means, “changing form in keeping with inner reality, to be transfigured, or transformed after being with and to change,” according to a detailed synopsis of Apostle Sampson’s book at Amazon.com.

“The prayers in this book will break yokes and interject God’s predestinated promise for your life,” said an Amazon spokesperson for Apostle Sampson’s Metamorphosis: Warfare Prayers That Bring Change. “Your biggest change comes when you pray.”
Moreover, Apostle Sampson emphasizes, prayer is the key element that gives you favorable results.
“This book will bring the change you have been waiting on,” she writes as a pivotal reminder to her readers. “Metamorphosis is an everyday book that can be used for your daily devotion. This book contains prayers that shift atmospheres, demolishes demonic warfare, and interjects God’s supernatural release. These prayers will provide ample results.”
Prayers received from Apostle Sampson while in the comfortable confines of her prayer room during which she was fasting, the Brooklyn native acknowledged that some of those — which she deemed “spontaneous” — were during her weekly prayer line and during a time of devotion with the Lord.
“If you actively participate in these prayers on a daily basis and speak them out in the atmosphere, you will see great change in all areas of your life,” Apostle Sampson writes. “Become a participator and you will be a receiver. The idea (for this book) and some of the prayers were given to me before COVID-19 began. Also, during the pandemic on my nightly prayer line and after many nights of prayer for God’s people, God continued to feed me with information for this book.”
To her credit, Apostle Sampson finished her latest book several months after God infused within her the light of the Holy Spirit to produce it.
For her valiant efforts, she has become the beneficiary of a rash of favorable reviews.
“I received excellent reviews for this book,” Apostle Sampson said. “People who brought this book have seen change in their lives, change in their finances, moving from lack to abundance. (Some have witnessed) change in their marriage and demonic bondage has been removed from their life. Pastors have purchased hundreds of copies of this book to give as gifts to their leaders and family. And many individuals have purchased bulks of copies to give to love ones, friends and even their bosses.”
Besides Metamorphosis: Warfare Prayers That Bring Change, Apostle Sampson also authored:
- Birthing Place: Your Gift Is Developed During Your Valley Experience, published in 2013 and,
- Paw-lal: Prayers That Bring Supernatural Breakthrough, published in 2018.
As for the divine message she aspires to send to her reading audience through her latest book, Apostle Sampson said: “The divine message for is to know and understand that prayers attack the attention of God, and God hears prayer more than He listens and responds to complaints and murmurs. Most importantly, the prayers in this book were produced to create supernatural release, eradicate, and demolish demonic stagnation and introduce the blessings of God.
“The purpose is for everyone to experience the supernatural realm, importance of prayers and guard against spiritual attacks from demonic forces,” continued Apostle Sampson, adding that three additional books are currently in the works.
