Dallas/Fort Worth entrepreneur LaTambria Smith carries on her son’s memory through her thriving baking business

EDITOR’S NOTE: This story on Dallas/Fort Worth businesswoman LaTambria Smith was originally published by Making Headline News on October 11, 2017. Since the release of this story, Smith, a Dallas Skyline High graduate, has announced that she will be releasing a book that will recall her assortment of emotional testimonies, as well as host an empowerment conference that will take place at a date to be announced.

DALLAS — Back on February 8, one day before her 33rd birthday, LaTambria Smith staged to her Facebook page a rather descriptive and touching image that detailed a timeline of arguably the most challenging and tear-jerking moments of her young life.

For starters, Smith underwent surgery to have her cancer cells removed from her cervix in 2007.

DEFYING ALL ODDS

SHE’S STILL STANDING — Dallas-area businesswoman LaTambria Smith is owner of Tam’s Sweet Treats And More, a professionally run DFW-based professional baking business in which Smith specializes in preparing a variety of delectable, mouth-watering desserts.

Approximately a year later, she had a pre-eclampsia, or an emergency C-Section performed, a procedure that gave way to her child being 25 weeks prematurely and weighing just one pound, six ounces.

Two years later, doctors removed cancer cells from her cervix only to have a similar procedure performed the following year.

Then in 2012, Smith had to have another emergency C-Section performed, during which she had given birth to her baby at 23 weeks, a child whom weighed 14 ounces.

THESE CAKES ARE LIT — A business Smith established approximately three years ago, Tam’s Sweet Treats And More is widely known for providing consumers with a variety of sweets, most notably cakes, teacakes, chocolate covered sweets and its famous cupcakes.

Consequently, things would become even more somber in the life of a young woman whose faith undoubtedly was on trial unlike never before.

That’s because later that year, doctors had discovered a softball-size tumor in Smith’s stomach during the C-section. Unfortunately, Smith’s baby passed away three weeks later after a month-and-a-half stay in the NICU. Consequently, she underwent successful surgery, during which she had the tumor removed.

Then in 2015, Smith was hit with more disheartening news when she got word that she had a leaking heart valve due to high blood pressure.

ALL OCCASIONS CAKES AND TREATS — You name it and chances are Smith — this professional baking guru — will hook you up regardless of the occasion.

As if those slew of obstacles weren’t enough to try Smith’s faith, she learned some time last year that the nerves behind both of her eyes were swollen twice their normal size, in large part because doctors discovered excessive fluid around her brain.

While such a heartbreaking sequence of events would bring even the strongest of persons to tears, Smith deemed it essential to end the timeline image with four words that, despite an assortment of potentially fatal occurrences, practically explains why she’s the blessed woman for whom she is widely known.

REMEMBERING AMARI

In 2013, doctors had discovered a softball-size tumor in Smith’s stomach during the C-section.  Unfortunately, Smith’s baby passed away three weeks later after a month-and-a-half stay in the NICU. Consequently, she underwent successful surgery, during which she had the tumor removed.

“AND I’M STILL STANDING,” Smith staged to an image that was accompanied by three exclamation points.

All things considered and because of what she had to survive, Smith doesn’t shy away from the notion that while she’s yet breathing, she might as well live life to the fullest — while walking in purpose through entrepreneurship in the process.

“To me this is not only a business, but a passion,” Smith told Making Headline News.

TAM’S TEXAS TWO STEP

HER REASONS — All things considered and because of what she had to survive, Smith doesn’t shy away from the notion that while she’s yet breathing, she might as well live life to the fullest — while walking in purpose through entrepreneurship in the process. Pictured with Smith in a recent photo from the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis are her daughters: Amaiyah  Ross, 11 (left), and Mariah Ross, 10.

“I started in the kitchen with my grandmother as a child and learned as much as I could. I took all that knowledge and carried it over to my adult life. I first thought I would just do it for my girls, but the more I tried and accomplished, the more I pushed myself and here we are now.” — Dallas Entrepreneur LaTambria Smith

Talk about a dramatic comeback to ultimately start and manage a business amid a rash of agonizing setbacks.

“To have my girls watch and encourage me pushes me even more, because I know my passion and drive is a lesson for them as they grow,” Smith said while flashing her big, signature smile.

How befitting to put on display a well-deserved smile, this after having conquered and outlasted and defied arguably the greatest of odds time and time again.

Dallas/Fort Worth author Eunice Jones-Mitchell discovers key part of her purpose through her first book

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. (Jeremiah 29:11 KJV)

DALLAS — At some point during her life, it wasn’t so much about Eunice Jones-Mitchell needing to adjust to Texas.

Rather, her peace of mind and faith walk were centered largely on how she’d go about seeing to it that Texas — as big and gigantic as it is — would adjust to her.

WOMAN THOU ART LOOSED

DOING IT BIG IN TEXAS — A licensed minister, speaker, life coach, and mentor, Dallas/Fort Worth author Eunice Jones-Mitchell is the mastermind behind the book entitled, “Love Letters: My Personal Journey Towards Healing.”

“I’ve been writing all my life, but when I transitioned here to Dallas, I suffered severe panic and anxiety attacks and saw a therapist,” Jones-Mitchell, a native of Oklahoma City, told Making Headline News during a weekend interview. “Once I begin to pour out all that I had been through and fleeing domestic abuse, that’s when He gave me the instructions.”

Much Jones-Mitchell’s delight, those God-mandated instructions included, among other things, a monumental assignment that had given way to her delving off into the world of authorship.

A licensed minister, speaker, life coach, and mentor, Jones-Mitchell is the mastermind behind the book entitled, “Love Letters: My Personal Journey Towards Healing.”

A 116-page written document that made its official release on July 28, 2017, Jones-Mitchell’s “Love Letters: My Personal Journey Towards Healing” depicts in large part this writer’s personal journey, one that is mired by what she describes as “a life of brokenness and pain,” as mentioned in a detailed breakdown of this book at Amazon.com.

“This book will walk you through the challenges I had to face and overcome,” Jones-Mitchell reveals in her Amazon synopsis. “This book originally started as a journal to God, letting Him know how much I love Him for what He brought me through.”

As it turned out, the more that Jones-Mitchell carried out her strategic assignment as a Christian-based writer, the more God began to reveal to her the purpose for which she was created.

AND THE BIBLE SAYS…

Talk about adjusting comfortably to life in Texas.

“Each love letter allowed me to reflect on my life instead of the hurt I experienced. Although each love letter started from a place of pain, as I continued to write, the love letter would end from a place of freedom.” — Author Eunice Jones-Mitchell

Interestingly, as Jones-Mitchell sought therapy on what was seemingly a regular basis, the more that God had given her the revelation to produce a book.

GOD’S PLAN — As Jones-Mitchell had ultimate discovered, even upon relocating to Texas, even when it her faith was being tried and tested, even when the enemy came in like a flood — by way of those dreaded panic and anxiety attacks — God was behind the scenes, working things out for her good.

“And as I begin to share with the therapist, she confirmed it and clearly stated, ‘I could listen to your story all day,’” Jones-Mitchell recalled. “(She said) ‘You should write a book.’”

And the rest, as they say, was history.

That’s because Jones-Mitchell is rough a year-and-a-half removed from having written a book that continues to amass favorable reviews.

“Everyone has told me that it was an easy read and that some part of the book spoke to a situation that they were battling or had experienced in their life,” Jones-Mitchell said. “Most of my audience wants to read more and I’m glad for that.”

Because of whom she is and because of where God is taking her, Jones-Mitchell is thoroughly convinced that her book was all a part of God’s strategic plan for her life, even during her season in the wilderness.

“I’ve known since I was little that God had a plan for my life,” Jones-Mitchell says with pure confidence. “God told me that I would touch lives all over the world and I didn’t realize it would be with the words that I put to paper in a book.

“This was the icing on the cake for me in (God) allowing me to give my audience something tangible to take with them when I was giving the opportunity to pour out to them. Even if I never wrote the book, I am forever a witness to the power of God through Jesus Christ in my life.”

As Jones-Mitchell had ultimate discovered, even upon relocating to Texas, even when it her faith was being tried and tested, even when the enemy came in like a flood — by way of those dreaded panic and anxiety attacks — God was behind the scenes, working things out for her good.

Next up: two more compelling books, which are currently in the works, she said.

OH HAPPY DAYS — Because of whom she is and because of where God is taking her, Jones-Mitchell is thoroughly convinced that her book was all a part of God’s strategic plan for her life, even during her season in the wilderness.

“I just looked at her and after tears streamed down my face I told her that God spoke that to me and she was confirming His words,” said Jones-Mitchell, recalling her memorable conversation with her therapist. “I’m just humbled and honored for the opportunity to be able to share with (the media). God has been faithful every step of the way and I’m expecting to publish more books and continue to help people through my life’s experience and speaking life into them.”

Talk about adjusting comfortably to life in Texas.

North Carolina author Marcell Gill’s “Get Rid Of Yourself” book drawing constant rave reviews

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (Philippians 4:8 KJV)

Sometime in the Summer of 2017, God strategically placed Marcell Gill on an assignment, one that was centered largely on helping people to alter their way of thinking.

For Gill, it was an monumental assignment he graciously embraced.

VISION UNFOLDING

USED BY GOD — A book in which North Carolina author Marcell Gill needed a little more than a year to compose, “Get Rid of Yourself” headlines, among other things, this author’s featured purpose that’s geared toward helping people change their philosophy, he emphasized.
“I believe my purpose is to help people change their philosophy,” Gill, a Fayetteville, North Carolina-area author, told Making Headline News this week. “(I want to help) change the way they process problems and to react to them in a positive manner. I firmly believe that this book can make decision making a lot easier in the future.”

The book to which Gill is alluding is his newly-assembled written document entitled, “Get Rid of Yourself.”

A book in which Gill needed a little more than a year to compose, “Get Rid of Yourself” headlines, among other things, this author’s featured purpose that’s geared toward helping people change their philosophy, he emphasized.

A MUST READ

GOD DID IT — Much to his delight, Gill said his authorship debut undoubtedly is a “major milestone” in his life and that God is the Beneficiary of all the credit.

“The message I want people to download in their spirit is that you have been given power and authority over your mind and body,” Gill said. You, the spirit, are responsible for everything that happens in your life.”

Interestingly, Gill, by all accounts, stressed that we are not as powerless as we are taught to believe, something that, in many aspects, has crippled countless people, particularly those in the household of faith.

“Abba is our Guide, but He cannot make us get up and do anything,” Gill said. “The work that needs to be done is done through our hands. Not simply by praying and believing, but through work as well.”

MUCH INSIGHT — Interestingly, Gill, by all accounts, stressed that we are not as powerless as we are taught to believe, something that, in many aspects, has crippled countless people, particularly those in the household of faith.

A book that is just weeks removed from its official release,  Gill’s “Get Rid of Yourself” has already generated favorable feedback which, to his credit, figures to be a sign of things to come.

“The overall response has been stellar,” said Gill, a U. S. Army veteran. “The beta readers shared a genuine appreciation for my transparency and the willingness to discuss taboo subjects.”

Much to his delight, Gill said his authorship debut undoubtedly is a “major milestone” in his life and that God is the Beneficiary of all the credit.

CHECK THIS OUT — A book that is just weeks removed from its official release, Gill’s “Get Rid of Yourself” has already generated favorable feedback which, to his credit, figures to be a sign of things to come.

“The Father has allowed me the opportunity to share this with the world and has equipped me to do so,” said Gill, adding that a few local speaking engagements are presently in the works and the he’s open to accepting more as they arise. “It’s all about changing lives and this is just the beginning.”

As expected, Gill has announced that other books are forthcoming — much sooner than later.

HE AIN’T DONE — As expected, Gill has announced that other books are forthcoming — much sooner than later.

“I think it’s only fair to write another book based on adding to yourself since the first book speaks on ridding ourselves of the wrong mindset,” Gill said. “This project may become a series in the near future.”

Of course, Gill doesn’t shy away from the notion that he’d be remiss if he didn’t offer this notable suggestion: “The last message I want to leave (my readers) with is this: Continuously renew your mind every day. Every single day. Form positive habits. Be the cause and reap the benefits of the effect. Trust God and manifest love at all times.”

Little Rock author/evangelist R. M. Hoof’s ‘Broken Alabaster Box’ having a massive kingdom impact

And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster box of ointment; and stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment. (Luke 7:37-39 KJV)

Because of who she is and because of where God is taking her, R. M. Hoof was willing to do whatever necessary to steadfastly cover her beloved daughter and others — with God, her Helper, steering the way.

Saying if, by chance, her daughter had become victimized by rape, Hoof — just as she was taught as a young child while being raised in a Christian environment — deemed it essential to turn to God for some much-needed sense of direction.

THE PROVERBS 31 AFFECT

UNSHAKABLE FAITH — A native of Camden, Arkansas, R. M. Hoof of Little Rock is the mastermind behind the awe-inspiring book entitled, “Broken Alabaster Box,” a newly-project written document that is a little more than 11 months removed from its official release.

“I did not want my daughter to feel that if she was raped, that it was her fault or any other woman for that reason,” Hoof told Making Headline News this week.

As it turned out, God, His usual reliable Self, wasted little time guiding Hoof – this devout woman of faith — on a memorable, spiritually-enhancing journey, one whereby she would be afforded the golden opportunity to share of her assortment of testimonies in what has been widely dubbed a kingdom-advancing book.

Released officially on January 29, 2018, Hoof’s “Broken Alabaster Box” is comprised of 154 pages in length and depicts the beautiful story of the woman with the alabaster box, a familiar development that is housed in the book of Luke in the New Testament, which Hoof cites has had a major impact on her.

“I once considered myself even lower than this woman, who had committed many sins,” Hoof, a longtime licensed evangelist, explained in a detailed breakdown of her book at Amazon.com. “But whose desire to honor Jesus in her own humble way, drove her to disregard not just the social protocol of the day, but others’ opinion of her. She honored Jesus by anointing His feet with expensive perfume contained in an alabaster box.”

But here’s the real breakthrough, Hoof reveals to the people of God in a book that’s also available at Barnes and Noble online and at Little Rock’s Pyramid Book Store (located at 1001 Wright Avenue).

“We all have an alabaster box that we can present to the Lord,” she said without hesitation.

MORE ON AUTHOR R. M. HOOF: https://www.renitahoof.com/

A book that Hoof – whose widely known as Renita Hoof — needed somewhere in the neighborhood of eight months to assemble, her authorship debut has been so remarkably impressive that her reading audience has already begun inquiring about whether she will produce other books.

“I have been asked countless times when is the second book coming out. I have been asked to speak at several churches about the book as well. I have been told that it was a page-turner and they could not put it down.” — Author Evangelist R. M. Hoof

Having announced that she has speaking engagements lined up — “However, there are none at the time pertaining to the book,” she said — other books are currently in the works, Hoof said.

SPIRITUAL GPS SYSTEM — As it turned out, God, His usual reliable Self, wasted little time guiding Hoof – this devout woman of faith — on a memorable, spiritually-enhancing journey, one whereby she would be afforded the golden opportunity to share of her assortment of testimonies in what has been widely dubbed a kingdom-advancing book.

“Beyond The Brokenness and And Raising David and Deborah; Warriors,” said Hoof, revealing the names of her forthcoming written works.

When asked in what ways is her latest book apart of the purpose for which God has created her, Hoof said, “My ministry is to broken men and women. My heart has always gone out to them. It wasn’t until after the birth of the book that I realized my true call and purpose. The plan was then revealed.”

All things considered, coupled with the divine calling on her life, Hoof’s God-orchestrated plan has come full circle and, most importantly, it is steadily advancing the kingdom in the process.

THEY WANT MORE — A book that Hoof – whose widely known as Renita Hoof — needed somewhere in the neighborhood of eight months to assemble, her authorship debut has been so remarkably impressive that her reading audience has already begun inquiring about whether she will produce a second book.

“Broken Alabaster Box was birthed through the pain of a young woman who did not see herself through the eyes of God,” Hoof emphasized. “My vision was blurred and obscured. I only saw myself through the lens of my assailants.”

But God…

MASSIVE KINGDOM IMPACT — When asked in what ways is her latest book apart of the purpose for which God has created her, Hoof said, “My ministry is to broken men and women. My heart has always gone out to them. It wasn’t until after the birth of the book that I realized my true call and purpose. The plan was then revealed.”

“I had no self-worth and my self-esteem was only predicated on what someone else thought of me,” Hoof recalled. “Jealousy and insecurity ran ramped in my mind. Strong holds held my thoughts captive. It was only until I began to have a real relationship with God was I set free.”

That’s because of who she is and because of where God is taking her, she was willing to do whatever was necessary to steadfastly capture and sustain the abundant life that Christ came to give us — with God, her Helper, steering the way.

South Carolina Pastor TrVera Williams leading God’s people to make a ‘U Turn’ for Christ

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES PASTOR TRVERA WILLIAMS

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:58)

Just after midday EST on Thursday, TrVera Williams took to her Facebook page, where she staged a rather intriguing and thought-provoking video.

The footage before her gallery of social media followers read: YOU ARE NEXT IN LINE FOR A MIRACLE.

Ahhh…just the ideal message by this devout, big-hearted woman of faith whom, to her credit, is being used by God to advance the kingdom unlike never before, for such pivotal time as now.

“When the Lord placed in my spirit to transition, I just didn’t see how that would work,” Williams, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said, explaining in great detail the events that had ultimately given way to her establishing a ministry. “Being single and the sole bread winner, my questions were: How am I going to pay my bills and what am I going to do with the business bills?”

U-TURN INTO MORE SUCCESS — A native of Jamestown, South Carolina, Trvera Williams has made some pretty remarkably and progressive strides as the Founder and Senior Pastor of U Turn For Christ Evangelistic Ministries, Inc., which will be celebrating five years of existence in what has been deemed Harvest Celebration 2018, a three-day, power-packed event that will take place November 16-18.

As Williams consequently found it, because her calling to the ministry essentially was God’s will, it was also, by all accounts, His bill.

Yep, that’s just like God.

“The Lord told me that He would take care of me and that I was not to go get another job, but my job was to get up every morning, get dressed and go upstairs and spend time with Him. Initially, fear and anger were present, because I didn’t understand why God would take something away that He told me to build.” — Pastor Trvera Williams

That Williams has steadfastly obeyed the Voice of God has benefited her mightily since she ceremoniously delved off into ministry full time.

SOLID CHRISTIAN FOUNDATION — Having grown up in what is known as the Jehovah Holiness Church, Williams and her family, she explained, were affiliated with the First Born Church Of The Living God, a denomination that is based in Waycross, Georgia.

A native of Jamestown, South Carolina, Williams has made some pretty remarkably and progressive strides as the Founder and Senior Pastor of U Turn For Christ Evangelistic Ministries, Inc., which will be celebrating five years of existence in what has been deemed Harvest Celebration 2018, a three-day, power-packed event that will take place November 16-18.

A non-denominational institution that Williams founded in November 2013, U Turn For Christ is housed in the historic Berea area of Greenville, South Carolina, which is part of the Greenville, Mauldin, and Easley metropolitan statistical areas — a town that is comprised of roughly 14,295 residents, according to the latest U. S. census.

“He then said He was taking it away, but, instead, I was trading in my business, Serenity Rehab And Wellness Center, for something better,” said Williams, recalling the infancy stages of her ministry.

CONNECT WITH U TURN FOR CHRIST VIA SOCIAL MEDIA: https://www.facebook.com/UTFCEM/

Interestingly, U Turn For Christ’s regular worship services took place in the gymnasium of Williams’ place of business in Winter 2013.

Today, however, this up-and-coming ministry’s present site is located at 6243 White Horse Road, Suite F in Greenville.

A church whereby this clergywoman is widely known for emphasizing the spirit of excellence throughout the Body of Christ and in the community, Williams’ professional ministerial resume is such that she isn’t just known for being a solid and notable pastor.

To her credit, coupled with the divine purpose for which she was created, Williams is widely known also as a godly mentor to a host of leaders, particularly those whom likewise have been called to the ministry.

ADVANCING THE KINGDOM — In 2017, Williams witnessed the release of her book entitled, “A Journey With A Promise,” an awe-inspiring written document that is comprised of poems, as well as recording an inspirational scripture and Prayer CD entitled, “Worship In The Word With Anointed Keys.”

Credit her notable and rich upbringing in the church as amongst the reasons Williams is yet witnessing her destiny unfold right before her eyes.

“Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, you can do all things through Christ Who strengthens you, be who God has called you to be,” said Williams, explaining what were amongst the key and strategic values her parents taught her as a child.

Having grown up in what is known as the Jehovah Holiness Church, Williams and her family, she explained, were affiliated with the First Born Church Of The Living God, a denomination that is based in Waycross, Georgia.

The daughter to a mother, who was an evangelist and father, who was a deacon, Williams practically grew up in the church.

GOD’S LEADING LADY — For what’s it worth, that Williams had begun preaching the gospel at the tender age of 16 essentially was a prelude to what is taken place at this stage in her life, a trend that was highlighted by her officially accepting her calling, thus selling out solely to God in 1999.

“I grew up, singing in the choir, being active in the youth department, on speaking programs for youth district meetings,” said Williams, once of a product of the historic Church of God In Christ. “(I also) transitioned into playing the drums and then the keyboard of which I continue to play.”

For what’s it worth, that Williams had begun preaching the gospel at the tender age of 16 essentially was a prelude to what is taking place at this stage in her life, a trend that was highlighted by her officially accepting her calling, thus selling out solely to God in 1999.

How else to explain why she was next in line for a miracle all along?

“My mother says that when I was younger I would preach to my stuff animals,” Williams jokingly said, but with a straight face.

LET US GO INTO GOD’S HOUSE — A non-denominational institution that Williams founded in November 2013, U Turn For Christ is housed in the historic Berea area of Greenville, South Carolina, which is part of the Greenville, Mauldin, and Easley metropolitan statistical area, a town that is comprised of roughly 14,295 residents, according to the latest U. S. census.

Much to her delight, she routinely preaches before people from various walks of life, people who are discouraged and wounded and spiritually incarcerated, people who are in dire need to change the overall landscape of their lives, all the while drawing closer to God in the process.

After all, this is what making a U-Turn for Christ is all about.

“This testimony shows me how I thought I believed and trusted (God), but I saw that I believed as far as the bank account and the pay day, because I knew with my profession, I would not be jobless,” said Williams who, last year, witnessed the much-anticipated release of her book entitled, “A Journey With A Promise,” an awe-inspiring written document of poems. “But this test has helped me stand and continue to build U Turn For Christ Evangelistic Ministries on a sure foundation.”

APPLE OF GOD’S EYE — Much to her delight, Williams routinely preaches before people from various walks of life, people who are discouraged and spiritually incarcerated, people who are in dire need to change the overall landscape of their lives, all the while drawing closer to God in the process. After all, this is what making a U-Turn for Christ is all about.

A solid, faith-based foundation that undoubtedly will stand the test of time with God, its Helper, leading the way.

“Throughout the transition period and for about six months,” said Williams, “not one bill went unpaid, and many bills were written off, all because my faith came up.”

Indeed it deed.

Texas author Gina McGowan Cade enjoying an increase in sales, global exposure since book’s release

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES GINA MCGOWAN CADE

DALLAS — To make a long story short…

“This book still blesses me,” Gina McGowan Cade is swift to acknowledge when recalling just how much God has steadfastly used her for His glory through her spirited and empowering written document entitled, “Iron Sharpens Iron: Encouragement for the Soul.”

Since her book’s much-anticipated release nearly three years ago, McGowan Cade has enjoyed a considerable amount of success, most notably through increased sales and enhanced exposure through the mainstream media.

An inspiring and spiritually-driven book in which McGowan Cade’s featured message is rather direct and forthright — to remind the people of God that God is always with us — “Iron Sharpens Iron: Encouragement for the Soul” is steadily having a massive and vital impact throughout the Body of Christ, particularly for those whom, well, are longing for some much-needed encouragement.

ENCOURAGEMENT FOR THE WORLD — A native of Dallas, Gina McGowan Cade is the author of “Iron Sharpens Iron: Encouragement for the Soul,” an inspiring, tear-jerking, spiritually confirming book in where Cade’s featured message is rather direct and forthright — to remind the people of God that God is always with us.

“Since my last story, my book sales took off,” McGowan Cade, a native of Dallas, told Making Headline News this week. “I am selling many books at book signings and online through Amazon as well. Since the (last MHN) story, the readers were literally introduced to Gina McGowan Cade. Many people would see me, were Facebook friends with me, but did not know me as a person. They just saw the image.”

Now that “Iron Sharpens Iron: Encouragement for the Soul” has evolved into a constant success and spiritual hub for those seeking a godly sense of direction, it’s safe to assume that McGowan Cade isn’t just an ordinary social media friend to many with whom she crosses paths.

CONSIDER THE SOURCE — An inspiring and spiritually-driven book in which McGowan Cade’s featured message is rather direct and forthright — to remind the people of God that God is always with us — “Iron Sharpens Iron: Encouragement for the Soul” is steadily having a massive and vital impact throughout the Body of Christ, particularly for those whom, well, are longing for some much-needed encouragement.

Fortunately for them, she has become a monumental beacon of light as an accomplished Christian author, considering her reading audience has become accustomed to witnessing her good works, all the while glorifying the Father in heaven.

“I have received many testimonials where others have been equally blessed when reading the book,” McGowan Cade said. “There is so much word between the pages of the book that has something for almost everyone. Many dilemmas, situations, and issues. Jesus cares for us all.”

Given the continuous influential impact her book is having, particularly during times that are widely regarded as perilous, it has become a foregone conclusion that McGowan Cade cares for those who are destined to draw closer to Christ.

OFF THE CHARTS — After taking direct and strategic commands from her Creator, McGowan Cade not only caught the vision and wrote it down. To her credit, she has earnestly ran with it, ran with it in such a way that a 200-plus book was produced as a result.

Because after all, iron sharpens iron.

If you didn’t know, now you know.

“After writing the book, I would go back and read some of the chapters and be wowed. But understand this isn’t bragging about me. The information for Iron Sharpens Iron Encouragement for the Soul was given to me by the Holy Spirit. — Author Gina McGowan Cade

So to make a long story short…

“If a person hasn’t heard one of my interviews or read an article, they would not know that many of times, I would be asleep and would receive a heavenly download that I would jot down or place notes in my phone,” said McGowan Cade, explaining the awe-inspiring that transpired surrounding her book. “After waking up, again I would go back to review what I wrote and I would often ask the question, ‘Wow, this came from me?’”

SEASON OF OVERFLOW — Since her book’s much-release nearly three years ago, McGowan Cade has enjoyed a considerable amount of success, most notably through sales and enhanced exposure through the mainstream media.

Now that her initial book has caused a stir in the Body of Christ for all the right reasons, McGowan Cade has become inspired to begin writing Book No. 2.

The title: “Your Winning Season: Fear Not,” a project that is scheduled to hit the market sometime in Spring 2019, McGowan Cade said.

As for her latest book, McGowan Cade is especially giddy about the overflow of blessings that have surfaced since its release, some of which arose outside of the United States.

“I have only promoted the book physically in Texas,” McGowan Cade said. “I have had interviews with other (media outlets) that are in different states and even in Nigeria.”

Because after all, iron sharpens iron.

Texas author Annie Ezell’s empowering book helping others ‘see their potential through pain’

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES LADY ANNIE EZELL

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV)

DALLAS — Long before Annie Ezell became the First Lady of Latter Rain Church of God In Christ in nearby Sherman, Texas, God had strategically introduced her to an awe-inspiring vision, one that essentially unfolded nearly four decades ago.

“The vision of me becoming an author started to form when I was in my 20’s,” Ezell told Making Headline News this week. “It was difficult to take the first step or know where to begin, but I knew it was a long-term goal.”

Indeed it was.

And so it came to pass sometime in 2012 that Ezell began to diligently work her vision as a newcomer to this ever-so-popular world of authorship, a trend that was culminated approximately two years later when she witnessed her compelling finished project that is entitled, “Making Decisions Is Not Always Easy: A Memoir Of Unspoken Words.”

GOD’S LEADING FIRST LADY — And so it came to pass sometime in 2012 that Sherman, Texas author Annie Ezell began to diligently work her vision as a newcomer to ever-so-popular world of authorship, a trend that was culminated approximately two years when she witnessed her finished project that is entitled, “Making Decisions Is Not Always Easy: A Memoir Of Unspoken Words.”

A spiritually-enhancing written document that is comprised of 72 pages in length, Ezell’s “Making Decisions Is Not Always Easy: A Memoir Of Unspoken Words” was officially released in March 2014 and, much to her delight, has become a fixture throughout the Body of Christ.

“This memoir is a reminder that better days are ahead if you make the right decisions,” said a spokesperson for Ezell’s book in a detailed breakdown of her work at Amazon.com. “For Annie Ezell, making the right decisions only came through patience, prayer, and learning from her experiences. Life events from a young child into adulthood have conditioned her to help guide others through difficult decisions.

MASSIVE KINGDOM IMPACT — A spiritually-enhancing written document is comprised of 72 pages in length, Ezell’s “Making Decisions Is Not Always Easy: A Memoir Of Unspoken Words” was officially released in March 2014 and has become a fixture throughout the Body of Christ.

“Her wisdom comes from spiritual guidance and obedience to her calling to encourage others to not give up when they are faced with a difficult situation. Her appearance doesn’t tell the story: Open the cover to discover the truth about her life.”

As Ezell, 60, eloquently explained, she had always sensed that she would eventually find her way to the ideal platform to share of her assortment of testimonies, as God’s manual encourages us, according to Psalm 105:1.

Now that it all has come to pass, she doesn’t shy away from the notion that, well, He was there all the time (as the classic gospel song goes).

“I always wanted to tell my story, but I had some reserve, because of the layers of pain it would evoke,” Ezell, a native of Haworth, Oklahoma, said. “This particular publication came later after the experience of losing my mother. I wanted others to understand that when they are faced with difficult decisions, there is a system to defeating self-doubt and pain.”

Interestingly, Ezell will be afforded the golden opportunity to promote her book and share of her testimonies as the keynote speaker on October 13 during a Women’s Conference.

Accompanied by the theme, “Forgiven But Not Healed (Matthew 6:14-15),” this assembly will take place at the United Way Building, located at 713 East Brockett Street in Sherman, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. CST.

As for ways in which her book is synonymous to the purpose for which God created her, Ezell emphasized, among other things, that her reading audience should look no further than her solid, relentless faith walk.

GOD’S MYSTICAL UNION — A product of the Church of God In Christ under the leadership of Superintendent F. T. Pratt Sr. Which — “He taught me the value of a Christian life,” Ezell said — Ezell and husband, Pastor James Ezell (the couple will be celebrating 40 years of marriage on December 31) had ultimately raised their children under similar Christian standards, teaching them morals, empathy, respect, and workmanship, among other things.

“This book is a part of my purpose by allowing me to testify and be a witness of faith, obedience, and victory. It became my platform for speaking to women of all status. It also built my confidence that led me to develop the Forgiven But Not Healed as a Women’s Ministry.” — Lady Annie Ezell

Widely known as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and counselor, Ezell founded her Forgiven But Not Healed ministry two years ago. Initially, it started as a small women’s ministry that was centered mostly on Q&A sessions.

“We (would) gather and have open discussion about salvation and forgiveness on a monthly basis, helping women through their pained experiences and quest to forgiveness,” Ezell said her ministry, which has evolved into more of a spiritual movement, of sorts. “This year will be the first conference inviting attendees from the sessions and is open to the public.”

Prior to their appointment as spiritual leaders, Latter Rain was guided by Elder Clevester and Gladys Johnson

“The support from my husband, children, and spiritual leaders has pushed me to be a virtuous woman, having faith and praying fervently for my family,” Lady Ezell said.

The feedback that has been generated since her book’s release has been favorable.

“My audience has found this book to be a comforting reference during hard times,” Lady Ezell said. “Men and women comment on their similar experiences and positive encouragement as they are faced with difficult times. It has given hope and spiritual uplift for many.

“I’m inspired to continue writing for women audiences and helping them see their potential through the pain,” conditioned Lady Ezell, a mother of four and grandmother of four who has announced that other books are presently in the works. “I’ve prayed for wisdom and God has shaped my heart and mind to be accepting of others and have the patience to meet them where they are in their journey with Christ.”

The WORD Network to air Prophetess Maria Vaughn’s 4th Annual Eagle Excellence Awards in September 2019

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES PROPHETESS MARIA VAUGHN AND THE WORD NETWORK

Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. (1 Timothy 5:17)

Dr. Maria Vaughn wasn’t just born and raised in the church.

Because of who she is and because of where God is taking her, her reputation is such that she routinely goes to great lengths to advance the kingdom.

In remarkably impressive fashion for the most part.

“My mother is an evangelist and my father is a deacon,” Dr. Vaughn told Making Headline News during a recent interview. “I have great support from my family, which I draw strength from.”

THE PROVERBS 31 FACTOR — Widely known throughout the Body of Christ as Prophetess Maria Vaughn, this Crisfield, Maryland native is not only the proud Founder and CEO of Exodus Deliverance Outreach Ministries, Inc., her Lakewood, New Jersey-based non-profit organization — which has sponsored an assortment of community-related events and awarded scholarships to prospective college students — but she has gained widespread respect amongst her peers for having organized the Eagle Excellence Awards Ceremony.

Such unyielding family support, coupled with the massive divine calling on her life, have benefited Dr. Vaughn mightily, considering her ministry is steadily attracting more of global presence.

NATIONAL IMPACT — Next year’s Eagle Excellence Awards Ceremony, which will be nationally televised by The WORD Network, will be hosted by Bishop Greg Davis and will take place on September 7, 2019 at 5 p.m. EST from Lakewood, New Jersey.

An event that is entering its fourth year of existence, the Eagle Excellence Awards is widely regarded as a mandate, of sorts, whereby organizers deem it essential to honor, celebrate, and encourage Pastors, reminding them, among other things, that their immeasurable kingdom-based work is not being executed in vain.

“Although their ultimate reward will come from God, we deem it necessary to give thanks to them for the years of selfless service that they give to the Kingdom of God,” said a spokesperson for the Eagle Excellence Awards in a synopsis at https://www.eagleawards.org/.

WORTHY OF DOUBLE HONOR — Interestingly, Eagle Excellence Awards organizers have had the luxury of paying homage to more than 150 Pastors from around the country, in part because a number of them haven’t gotten the respect and exposure they rightfully deserve, Dr. Vaughn emphasized.

If the previous three years are any indication, it’s safe to assume that next year’s event figures to attract a slew of prominent personalities throughout the Body of Christ.

“We have been able to host many ministry leaders in the communities to bless the Body of Christ,” Dr. Vaughn said.

Amongst those leaders are Bishop Hezekiah Walker, Pastor Tye Tribbett, Evangelist Vicki Winans, Evangelist Karen Clark Sheard, Evangelist Dorinda Clark Cole, Bishop Jason Nelson, Charles Butler & Trinity, the Mann’s Tour, the Bloody Win Tour, Bishop Marvin Sapp, Le’Andria Johnson, and Tasha Page Lockhart, just to name a few.

MUCH SPIRITUAL HOOPLA — If the previous three years are any indication, it’s safe to assume that the 2019 Eagle Excellence Awards figure to attract a slew of prominent personalities throughout the Body of Christ.

Also, next year’s Eagle Excellence Awards will be comprised of what Dr. Vaughn said are “specific changes,” most notably a newly-established production team, a variety of commercials and promos months leading to the event, as well as new marketing strategies that will enable organizers to enhance the event’s vision.

In addition, Dr. Vaughn and her staff are devising more effective and strategic ways to implement networking and continuing long-term relationships, all the while adding more volunteers and community involvement, particularly as it relates to creating more activities to brand the forthcoming Eagle Excellence Awards, she said.

Dallas/Fort Worth author Ann Anderson witnesses God’s mighty plan unfold through her empowering new book

BISHOP T. D. JAKES 2018 WOMAN THOU ART LOOSED ADVANCE MEDIA COVERAGE

For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the LORD. (Isaiah 55:8 KJV)

DALLAS — As it relates to the above Biblical passage, no one can greatly attest to this thought-provoking notion like Ann Anderson.

Consider, for instance, the memorable, awe-inspiring memory that vividly unfolded, during which Anderson was assembling — both in the natural and spirit — the detailed outline for her newly-produced book entitled, “Butterfly Uprising: Evolution Of Alexander Scott.”

As Anderson explained, whereas God had strategically introduced to her a strategic vision to compose her book some two years ago, she had no lofty concept that her Creator would ultimately take her on an unlikely detour, of sorts.

PURCHASE ANN ANDERSON’S BOOK HERE: https://www.amazon.com/Butterfly-Uprising-Ann-Anderson/dp/1635683041

GOD’S GPS SYSTEM — As Dallas/Fort Worth author Ann Anderson explained, whereas God had strategically introduced her to her vision to compose her book entitled,
“Butterfly Uprising: Evolution Of Alexander Scott,” some two years ago, she had no lofty concept that her Creator would ultimately take her on an unlikely detour, of sorts.

“I’ve known that I would write a book for over thirty years, and God even gave me ‘Butterfly,’” Anderson told Making Headline News this week as part of the publication’s advance media coverage of Bishop T. D. Jakes 2018 Woman Thou Art Loosed that will take place here from October 18-20. “But what I did not always know was that it was going to be about me. It was not until about two years ago, just before I sat down to write, that it dawned on me that it would be my life story.”

And the rest, as they say, was history.

And just like that, Anderson’s “Butterfly Uprising: Evolution Of Alexander Scott” had eventually become a personal biography, of sorts, one that is steadfastly impacting lives mightily, most notably throughout the Body of Christ, not to mention a book she’s yet believing God will bless her to escalate into a feature film or perhaps a movie (“I have already written the screenplay,” Anderson said).

EDITOR’S NOTE: Making Headline News, which salutes author and The Potter’s House member Ann Anderson, will be one of several Dallas/Fort Worth-based media outlines, covering Bishop T. D. Jakes’ Woman Thou Art Loosed October 18-20.

“To help empower other women and young girls to find their own voices and to speak their own truth,” said Anderson, a native of
Houston (but was raised in Shreveport, Louisiana) said, when asked what is the single, most underlying reason she chose to produce ‘Butterfly Uprising: Evolution Of Alexander Scott.’ “To break their silence and stop living in shame and condemnation after experiencing or going through any type of abuse.”

For Anderson, who resides in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, she certainly knows what it’s like to navigate and persevere through arguably the toughest of life’s hardships or, as mentioned in a detailed synopsis of her book at https://www.kobo.com/ca/en/ebook/butterfly-uprising, a life that is mired by what she refers to as “multiple dramas.”

By and large, Anderson’s “Butterfly Uprising: Evolution Of Alexander Scott” depicts the life of an 11-year-old girl and her incestuous stepfather, not to mention what the writers dubs a two star-crossed lovers, a strung-out drug addict, a struggling single parent, an inspiring ballet dancer, a single young woman, not to mention a loving middle-aged married couple.

BUT GOD — For Anderson, who resides in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, she certainly knows what it’s like to navigate and persevere through arguably the toughest of life’s hardships or, as mentioned in a detailed synopsis of her book at https://www.kobo.com/ca/en/ebook/butterfly-uprising, a life that is mired by what she refers to as “multiple dramas.”

Interestingly, such a sequence is all embodied in one woman, Anderson acknowledges, thus revealing the evolution of Alexander Scott.

And then there is the divine message that this fine and gifted writer shares when offering a thorough breakdown of her book.

“Perseverance, resilience and overcoming,” Anderson says with such authority. “A butterfly represents change and is often seen as a foreshadow of positive life changes and a master of how best to embrace them. As a caterpillar transform itself into a butterfly, the process is quite painful for it…it represents that even when a change can be very painful, you come out stronger and more beautiful than ever before.”

To Anderson’s credit, coupled with the divine calling on her life, she has, by all accounts, emerged as the beautiful and dynamic godly woman for which she is widely known.

GOOD VIBES — The feedback since the release of her book has been mostly favorable as expected, said Anderson, whose newly-produced written document has generated an array of positive reviews, most notably on social media platforms.

Talk about basking in the glory of a proverbial “But God” moment.

“Over the years, I realized that I did not look like what I had been through and that the only way I was going to be able to help anyone is that I would have to expose my own sorted truths,” Anderson explained. “I knew that I could no longer be silent about my traumatic and devious past. At that moment, I was convinced that when I wrote this book that God would bless me to use it to impact women and young girls’ lives, to help them to transform from their own traumatic experiences and become the best version of themselves. And so this was my main motivation for writing this book.”

FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE — To Anderson’s credit, coupled with the divine calling on her life, she has, by all accounts, emerged as the beautiful and dynamic godly woman for which she is widely known.

The feedback since the release of her book has been mostly favorable as expected, said Anderson, whose newly-produced written document has generated an array of positive reviews, most notably on social media platforms.

Not to be outdone, additional books are presently in the works, Anderson said.

“I am presently writing two more collaboration books with other authors and one of them is called, ‘Hearing God’s Voice: Above The Chaos,’ which will be published November 15, 2018, and is up for Christian Literature awards and also featured in Tribute Magazine and RHG Magazine in California,” Anderson said. “My article is called, ‘Even A Twenty Year Drug Addiction Is Not Final.’ The fourth book collaboration that I am presently writing is called, ‘I Matter,’ which will be published on January 30, 2019. My article is called, ‘Rescuing Yourself From Toxic Relationships.’ I will also be starting my new book soon called, ‘Beauty From Ashes.’”

PURCHASE ANN ANDERSON’S BOOK HERE: https://www.amazon.com/Butterfly-Uprising-Ann-Anderson/dp/1635683041

A MUST READ — By and large, Anderson’s “Butterfly Uprising: Evolution Of Alexander Scott” depicts the life of an 11-year-old girl and her incestuous stepfather, not to mention what the writers dubs a two star-crossed lovers, a strung-out drug addict, a struggling single parent, an inspiring ballet dancer, a single young woman, not to mention a loving middle-aged married couple.

Talk about basking in the glory of not just her element and, most importantly, in the divine purpose for which God created her.

Especially as a Christian-based author.

“Another one of the other many things that I love about God is that He does not waste anything that we go through. As I look back over my life and reflect on all of the things that I have learned from what I have experienced in life, I am just amazed about how many different facets of life that I have knowledge of. And so I am able to impart wisdom and help a lot of people in a lot of different areas. I think that is incredible.” — Author Ann Anderson

“I love serving people and helping them to be better and reach their goals,” Anderson continued. “As well as helping them to be healthy more productive human beings. People are always complimenting me on my inner and outer beauty, and the love and compassion that I have for people in general. And I always share with them that they are witnessing the beauty that God gave me for all of my ashes.”

“It’s a family affair,” Hunter and Co. staged in a Facebook post as they were about to take flight from North Texas to Colorado.

For Hunter, not only was this weekend one about which she was afforded the golden opportunity to reunite with a number of beloved family members, but it was a time during which she would be allowed to share of her latest project as an accomplished author.

According to a thorough breakdown of Hunter’s book at Amazon.com, “MY L. L.” is deemed a story this writer refers to as “constant challenges,” one that is accompanied by what she dubs the “hauntingly familiar in the pursuit of success.”

Moreover, “In the most ambitious book of her career, Linda Hunter gives us not only a thought-provoking epic of love and inspiration, but an enlightening of the passageways of bringing dreams to fruition,” said an Amazon spokesperson for Hunter’s book.

A book she began composing in March 1997, just months after Roderick’s demise, Hunter spent approximately 15 years to finish a project that has become an intriguingly eye-catching and attention-grabbing read for her reading audience.

“I didn’t finish it until 2012,” Hunter said. “I wrote as I was inspired to write. Sometimes, I thought of things I left out and would have to go back and include it.”

Once Hunter’s first book had finally come off of the printer and made its much-anticipated presence on the market, it was then that she had come to a realization that surely, this project was well worth the decade and a half spent in putting it all together.

“We were high school sweethearts.  He was my love and my best friend,” Hunter told Making Headline News during a weekend interview from Denver.

“So far, this is the only book I have written, but have been a ghost writer for a few others that I can’t mention,” Hunter said. “However, I do plan to write many more (books). I do enjoy writing.”

Interestingly, the overall layout of her book is one Hunter — along with her son, Roderick, who assisted her with layout — customarily labels “intentional,” meaning she was destined to offer her reading audience a distinctly unique design that would immediately grasp its attention.

“The type print of this book was intentional so people would look at it and want to read it,” Hunter said. “People who have purchased it said they loved it.  They said they weren’t readers but once they started reading my book they couldn’t put it down. They said they got a visual picture as they were reading it. They said they cried, they laughed, and they were inspired and really enjoyed it and would certainly recommend it to their loved ones and friends.”

This weekend in Denver is no exception.

Especially now that a much-anticipated family affair is presently taking place.
