Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. (Ephesians 4:32 NIV)
DISPLAYING AGAPE LOVE
When Donna L. Thompson’s fervent quest of emerging as a first-time author had become a full-fledged reality sometime last year, this devout woman of faith had one pivotal spiritual attribute in mind: forgiveness.
“I began writing (last year) during COVID-19 and completed writing my story of that year,” Thompson told Making Headline News this week.
The composition to which Thompson is alluding is valiant contributions to Charlotte businesswoman Elder Joan T. Randall’s anthology, The Image In The Mirror: The Reflection That Inspired The Courage To Live Limitlessly, which made its debut in February 2021.
A highly-anticipated, spiritually-empowering written work that is comprised of 20 Christian-based writers and spearheaded by Randall, an international speaker, award-winning and multi-bestselling author, business coach, and independent publisher, The Image In The Mirror: The Reflection That Inspired The Courage To Live Limitlessly is accompanied by 232 pages in length and appropriately reverences God in His infinite wisdom during which He reached for His canvas, took out His paintbrushes, and started painting, as mentioned in detailed synopsis of this newly-released anthology at Amazon.com.
Moreover, Randall and Co. acknowledge, as God masterfully moved the brushes over the canvas creating a kaleidoscope of experiences, He knew that this one would be a showpiece.

“He intentionally brought the 20 (co-authors) together during the shift — a time when the uncertainty of COVID-19 was dominant and fear knocked at the hearts of most,” said an Amazon spokesperson for Randall’s latest written work. “The Image In the Mirror, The Reflection That Inspired The Courage To Live Limitlessly tells the stories of 20 amazing women who had to weave their way through faith, family, and fight to survive. As they traveled through abuse and approval, chaos and comfort, darkness and daylight, deception and devotion, loss and love, neglect and nurture, pain, and purpose, they struggled to see themselves past their natural reflection.
“But one day, they finally looked past the fog of their retina and recognized the spiritual reflection of a child of The King. It was only then that they saw their image as how God sees them.”
For Thompson, a native of Jamaica who resides in Snellville, Georgia — a developed suburb of Atlanta that is a part of the city’s metropolitan area — that she made her ceremonious authorship debut, by all accounts, aligns with her God-mandated purpose.
“I chose to (help) produce this book in hopes of showing the importance of forgiveness so you can truly live a fulfilling life,” Thompson said of her desire to join Randall’s anthology. “My divine message is that even when you have loss, hurt, pain, and disappointment, you can overcome anything by having a loving heart.”
Arguably one of the biggest reasons Thompson deemed it a foregone conclusion to become a co-author for The Image In The Mirror: The Reflection That Inspired The Courage To Live Limitlessly, she emphasized, is due in large part to the notion that she boasts a keen passion for exemplifying forgiveness.
“This book is a part of me because I have a forgiving heart and see the best in people,” Thompson said. “I am always looking at ways to help others.”
Since news spread of her milestone as a first-time author, Thompson has become the beneficiary of a rash of favorable feedback.
“I have received feedback from individuals looking at their relationships differently and more from a place of understanding and forgiveness,” Thompson said. “I chose to produce this book in hopes of showing the importance of forgiveness.”
Interestingly enough, Thompson has announced that she plans to join Randall’s The Image In The Mirror Part II, an anthology that is scheduled to debut this fall.
An accomplished Clinical Informatics Specialist, Thompson has become a fixture for teaching and coaching individuals to attain their full potential.

A devoted member of the Paleontology Association of Georgia and The Georgia Lupus Foundation, Thompson serves as a consultant for A&J General Contractor Inc., as well as a “Mom-preneur” and co-founder of DBL&DLT Creations, an organization she founded in 2019.
“My passion is serving humanity and helping others discover the inner gifts and strengths they have been blessed with and use those gifts to become the best person of themselves,” Thompson said.
As for having made her much-anticipated authorship debut, Thompson said: “In that moment, I experienced the power of true unconditional love for mankind and God, Who gives us all strength and power. My Heavenly Father has blessed me with a heart of pure unconditional love to bring peace, serenity, clarity, and light in the darkest and most chaotic moments in life. I am love. God lives inside of me. That is the image I see today.”
