LaTonya Merritt was only being honest about what she witnessed years ago.

“Growing up as the daughter of a minister, I watched my single mother help so many people, spiritually and naturally,” Merritt recalls. “I felt that it was no way that I was ever going to be able to measure up to half the spiritual woman she was. Being the youngest of nine (children), I developed spiritual relationships with God at an early age. I fought against my calling for years. I knew that by being healed from cancer, I had to spread the news that there is hope in the midst of storm.”

Merritt also is a cancer survivor who has chronicled her awe-inspiring journey in Women Who Pray: 90 Days Of Powerful Prayers, the highly-anticipated anthology that is spearheaded by St. Mary’s, Georgia-based International Motivational Speaker and Bestselling Author Carleeka Basnight-Menendez.
