WINNER’S CIRCLE
HUMBLE, Texas — Andrew Landry admittedly never envisioned starting his own restaurant.
Then a rather intriguing thing happened.
“I never wanted a restaurant,” Landry told Making Headline News this week. “I have always loved to cook.”

That was evident a year-or-so ago when Landry emerged victorious during an area crawfish cooking contest. To his credit, Landry unanimously garnered nine first place votes in nine categories.
Such a milestone, in fact, had ultimately fueled Landry’s drive to start Juicy Heads & Spicy Tails Crawfish & More, his Humble, Texas-based Cajun seafood restaurant that has become a fixture for serving fresh, authentic food.

Located at 1502 1st Street E., Juicy Heads & Spicy Tails Crawfish & More officially went into operations in March 2022 and, much to Landry’s delight, has quickly become one of the neighborhood’s hottest establishments.
“I figured I would jump in,” Landry — with the backing of a solid support system — said of his quest of becoming a restaurant owner.
Since its ceremonious inception, Juicy Heads & Spicy Tails Crawfish & More has become a popular establishment, in large part because of its crawfish — “when in season,” Landry said — not to mention its delectable fish and shrimp.
“And the wings are big winners,” said Landry, whose restaurant’s stock has risen also because its mouth-watering etouffee gumbo, red beans, turkey necks, oysters snow crab, frog legs, banana pudding, pecan pralines, and peach cobbler, among other menu items.
