A person’s gift makes room for him and brings him before great people. (Proverbs 18:16 NASB)
HE’S BACKKKKK
Jay Vinson deemed it necessary to run it back.
For the second time in his faith-based tenure, Vinson made a recent appearance on WATC-TV 57’s Atlanta Live.
Only this time, however, Vinson’s appearance on WATC’s flagship program — which customarily features a mix of inspiring testimonies and uplifting gospel music presented live every weeknight at 7:00 p.m. EST — was centered largely on the Georgia businessman introducing Stepping Into Greatness.
Vinson’s Stepping Into Greatness is his rising youth coaching academy for middle and high school boys that is comprised of the local school system in the metro Atlanta area. This institution, he said, also strategically provides what he appropriately describes as global and spiritual coaching sessions.

Vinson’s Stepping Into Greatness academy is held every Monday and Thursday at 7 p.m. EST via Zoom and every third Saturday at Villa Rica Library in nearby Villa Rica, Georgia, starting at 10 a.m. EST.
“The interview was about 25 minutes, and I discussed my youth coaching academy for middle and high school students,” Vinson told Making Headline News this week. “As well as with me being a middle school teacher, I discussed the challenges that our youth is faced with every day, which causes them to have low self-belief in themselves. So, I talked about how I would help each student regain their self-belief in themselves, as well as self-growth and hold each student accountable.”
When asked what he sense stood out to the Atlanta Live hosts concerning his subject matter, Vinson, Making Headline News Man of The Year for 2021, said: “It was about how I am more than just a faith leader and how I have a heart for our youth which is our future.”
Vinson’s latest appearance on Atlanta Live comes nearly one year to the date when he made his debut on the show, during which the CEO of JJV Enterprises, JJV Vinson Corp and founder of Jay Vinson Ministries Inc. introduced his two spiritually-empowering books: Pain to Purpose and Stepping Into Greatness.

For starters, Vinson made his authorship debut with the release of Pain to Purpose in March 2020. His sophomore written work, Stepping Into Greatness, debuted approximately six months later and is designed for individuals who enjoy daily devotionals, many of which are formatted in fifty short, “bite-sized devotionals,” Vinson told Making Headline News during an October 2020 interview.
In essence, young people will relate to Vinson’s experiences recounted in Stepping Into Greatness. Generally, the devotionals are drawn from the author’s personal experiences — or those people he knows — as a pastor, teacher, and from sports.
MASSIVE KINGDOM IMPACT
By all accounts, Vinson suggested that his latest appearance on Atlanta Live was more significant this his previous one for a variety of reasons, he told MHN.
“This interview was crucial because of the world we live in today,” Vinson explained. “We see a lot of our youth are losing hope for life and turning to the wrong places for help or attention. So with this coaching academy, it would really help me shape these young men and women that come through this coaching academy to become great, not just academically, but in life as well.”
During Vinson’s second Atlanta Live appearance — which took place on October 17 — he also took time during the segment to reintroduce around my book Stepping Into Greatness: From Pain To Purpose & Promise, a life-altering written work that essentially led to the startup of his youth academy.
“This does a lot for my confidence because not only does it helps my business as an entrepreneur, but it also let other people know that I am a relatable person within the kingdom and marketplace,” Vinson said of his latest invite to Atlanta Live. “That, I believe, shapes me as a prolific and effective leader.”
