I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. I know that full well. (Psalm 139:14 NIV)
SEASON OF A REBIRTH
Marquera Brooks had one strategic vision in mind in the wake of her latest authorship adventure: keeping it sacred.
“(My vision is centered on) Unlocking The Secrets To A Healthier You: Walking In The Sacred,” Brooks, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said, introducing her topic that unfolds in Life After Divorce: Turning Pain Into Power, the highly-anticipated anthology that is spearheaded by Visionary Author, Dr. Dana Barnett-Watson.
A spiritually-empowering collaborative written work that will make its official debut in the coming weeks, Dr. Barnett-Watson’s Life After Divorce: Turning Pain Into Power is an intriguingly informative, fascinating collection of life-changing stories by eight co-authors, each of whom appropriately found the strength and perseverance to turn their pain into power after divorce.
For Brooks, an Elkton, Maryland-based author, she sensed that joining Watson’s life-altering anthology was an ideal way to carry out her mission for overcoming — and, most importantly, helping others to cope with — arguably one the most downtrodden seasons of her young life.

“I was looking to reach women who wanted to experience wholeness in every area of their life,” Brooks told MHN. “(I desire to) help other women that went through a divorce or are going through a divorce know that there is hope and life after divorce. I want women to know that divorce can help you grow as a woman and that you can make it through by keeping God first.”
ADVANCING GOD’S KINGDOM
A native Vineland, New Jersey — a rural Cumberland County establishment that is comprised of roughly 56,271 residents, according to the latest U. S. census — Brooks said God had infused within her the awe-inspiring vision to write about how He given her beauty for ashes amid a disheartening divorce.
“God gave me the vision to do this book a year after my divorce,” Brooks recalls. “At that time, I wasn’t ready to write it at that moment. But He let me know that I will be writing a book after going through the process.”
And, if God said it, that settles it, as Brooks had ultimately found out.
All things considered, though, Brooks undoubtedly was up for the challenge, as evidenced by the outpour of favorable feedback she’s garnered since word spread of her latest authorship milestone.

“(The primary purpose for joining this anthology was) for women to learn and understand that they must grow through what they go through,” Brooks explained. “Also, I wanted to give them kingdom principles that can help them become whole in every area of their life, knowing that anything is possible through Christ Jesus when you keep your eyes set on Him.”
Interestingly enough, Brooks kicked off her authorship debut in 2020 with the releases of a book and workbook, both of which are named Unlocking The Secrets To A Healthier You: Walking In The Sacred, the same subject on which she ironically sheds light in Life After Divorce: Turning Pain Into Power.
To her credit, Brooks didn’t take very long composing her chapter, needing just shy of two weeks to complete it.
“This book is a part of my purpose because it shows a part of the healing and growth that took place in my life,” Brooks, an accomplished certified life coach, said. “It’s an opportunity for me to share with other women and give them hope in living again and wanting more.
SHE CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW
“I know that God is calling me to women’s ministry and help women to find purpose and walk in wholeness in every area of their life no matter what they go through. I’m here to help them to get to know God and share with them how he helped me through every situation.”
Other books, Brooks said, are forthcoming, most notably Volume 2 of Unlocking The Secrets To A Healthier You: Walking In The Sacred.
Also, Brooks has an interview scheduled for early December during which she will promote her books.
