To her credit, Dr. Marcea Burnette Whitaker, MD unquestionably has enjoyed a considerable amount of success in her chosen profession as an accomplished Internal Medicine Physician.

“I struggled in my day-to-day and home life,” Dr. Whitaker told Making Headline News during a recent interview. “After dealing with a facial flaw that plagued my impressionable years, my parents were killed in a car accident, a devastating blow, followed by relationship issues that led me to life coaching as a necessity and not a luxury. I had found my purpose and the business was birthed.”

A native of Bowie, Maryland, Dr. Whitaker, 53, has been recognized by USA Today as a “Top Entrepreneur To Watch.” She has also been featured in Forbes, Kivo Daily, and Speakers Magazine.
Also, she has emerged as a professional speaker, a trend that has afforded her the golden opportunity to speak on leadership and women’s empowerment.
Dr. Whitaker is a graduate of Bladensburg, Maryland’s Elizabeth Seton High who became the first Richard A. Henson scholar at University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where she graduated suma cum laude.
Consequently, she enrolled at West Virginia University Medical School and the Business of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University.
